I think if Luxord is going to hold strong on his vote for himself, then he doesn't deserve to be here. It is not the least bit helpful. Like everyone else that has voted for themselves. If he's Mafia, then voting him off now will be beneficial. If he's not Mafia, then I don't see voting him off as much of a disadvantage either way because this is not constructive in the least bit. He isn't helping us by voting for himself, just trying to help himself. He was talking about Jiku being selfish, but he's being selfish as well.

The problem with this logic is that, being a numbers game, even if people aren't contributing they at least bolster the Town's numbers making a mafia victory harder.

I'm not entirely sure how Luxord's actions are selfish, but they are a bit suspicious. But then again, everyone's acting a bit suspicious, and it seems like there's a lot of finger pointing this round, and a lot of people have some pretty good points. My vote is staying on Cstar for now, but Tale is also being suspicious, especially as he knows he's being discussed and isn't trying to defend himself.

Because you aren't helping us by voting yourself. It helps no one but the mafia by potentially getting you voted off. You might as well vote No Lynch. At least then we would only lose one person at the end of the day rather than two.

But he's not bolstering the town's numbers, just dropping them. Voting for yourself doesn't help the town. Look how well things turned out for us with TB. All we did was lose two people rather than one.

I gave information, advice, and am willing to talk about whatever you want to discuss. I am voting for myself because I KNOW who I am. This isn't going to be an every round kind of deal and it clearly stirred the pot a little bit, that can potentially be a good thing for the townies by revealing who is suspicious or not. You assume that I act with no reason and just don't care. If I get voted off, my team can still win. If you want to vote someone off who is most likely (3:1 or whatever) a town member, then fine by me. But at the end of the day, voting for a town member is just as bad as being mafia yourself.

 

Because I would rather lose someone that is purposefully voting themselves off than accidentally vote someone off that didn't deserve it. It should also be an example for everyone else that voting for yourself is a ridiculous idea. It's only harmful to the town. And if he's just a cocky mafia member then good riddance.
