Bandwagoning without thought just got one of the townies killed for literally no reason. I agree I took part of it, but I looked at what we did and realized how stupid it was.

Someone already voted for themselves, I am aware of this. Killing someone for no reason must really suck. But wait. Isn't that what we did to Krowley? So is it good or bad?

since it's a numbers game where the town loses when there's more mafia and we have yet to get a single mafia, yeah, it's bad.

I know I may sound semi hypocritical here. But isn't it a tad bit odd that after I suggest Cat, she suggests me?

 

Well, people have been doing the "you picked me so i pick you" thing for a while now.
And the person you replaced was under suspect so it may have less to do with you and more to do with the role you filled tbh.
But yes, it is somewhat.

However people don't seem to be taking to the Cat vote, and Tale has been someone people have suspected since Day One. It may be in the best interest of the town to focus on him for the time being. Like I said, I will withdraw my vote for Cat if we can make a solid case against Tale (or anyone for that matter).
I just don't want to waste yet another day lynching a townie or nobody.

 

Augh, okay. So I remembered Andrew talked to me not long ago about his online activity so that I knew for the RPS. I know he's got lots of school stuff and his internet usage is cut down to a bare minimum, which is the main contributing factor as to why he isn't here much. So he and Jayn both have legitimate reasons for not posting. It still doesn't help us get anywhere with them being absent, but it's not simply because he's blatantly neglecting the thread.

With that, I will unvote Beau. Tales has significantly dropped his activity in the thread and that does warrant questioning. I'd like to hear what he has to say, because I had been set on him for the first two days. My suspicions never went away.

 

Oh boy, am I in trouble. lol, sorry everybody, I've been watching this thread, so I read every post. But I never really had anything of substance to say; with every death so far being a townie, I didn't want to throw around any accusations until I'd formed an opinion. In regards to everyone else's suggestions and theories, there's a lot for me to think about and I'm deathly afraid of saying something stupid, so there you have it. Also, the whole No-Death thing that happened this morning leaves a lot of questions to be answered, and has got me questioning EVERYTHING. XD Not really much of a defense, but yeah.

As for some of my thoughts on the matter, I do think Jiku's idea is a good one, not in that whoever has the most points must be mafia, but the simple assembling of the data can be very helpful. Also, there's a chance that with both Luxord and Cstar, they initially voted for themselves banking on the fact that we'd be hesitant to vote for them due to the fiasco that happened last time. (Even though Luxord didn't join til recently, he could have gone back and re-read the thread, I know that's the first thing I would have done in his place, whether he's mafia or not.) So there's a very real possibility that one or both of them are mafia and are using our fear of another mistake to save themselves. Sort of like poisoning their own cup in hopes their enemy won't take what is given them, if that makes any sense.

Because of that, and because of my previous suspicions, I am going to vote: Cstar. This isn't because he voted for me, but I've said since day one that I was suspicious, this just gives me an actual reason.

 

It's kind of hard not to bandwagon because there's nothing really concrete to go on. We have some basic interactions to look at in everyone's posts, but it's really easy to over-scrutinize. Now that the game's gone on for a while, it might be worth a second look at some of the older posts.

I noticed that Marushi also hasn't posted in a while, along with tale_wind... Maybe we should take a look at her too?

I agree with a lot of this. Andrew messaged me on skype once a few days back and couldn't talk for long. So from what I've gathered, this is all very true. I do see Tale a lot on the forum, so it is a bit weird that he would ignore this thread.

One thing I do wonder though, why anyone would at all ignore it after the past few "days". When someone doesn't post or posts too much, they get hammered. He isn't even trying to hit a sweet spot. Maybe he just doesn't care.

 

And Marushi just posted right before me, welp.

But yeah, I'm seeing some legit reasoning and if a good enough theory comes up for suspecting a specific individual (not limiting it to Marushi or tale), I'll cast a vote.

Has anyone considered that maybe Jiku is just coming up with all this mathematical stuff to distract us? I'm sorry but, I feel really intimidated to vote for him because he has all of this stuff written that people agree with, and I feel like if I jump at it I will be attacked. And I'm wondering if this was done intentionally. He initially said at the beginning he was voting at random because he wanted to find "patterns" and yes, in the end he did come up with these numbers. But...

...I just. His strategy with numbers intimidates me, not because I fear his numbers, and NOT BECAUSE I AM HIGH UP ON THE NUMBERS (i really don't care about that), but because I see no emotion behind it, I see only a layout of who has done what, who could potentially do something, and who seems to be no one to fear. I don't feel like numbers can actually show that, not at least until the end when everyone is dead.

It's just me laying out my thoughts, I don't want to formally accuse him yet but I want to see if people understand what I mean...?
