I do believe one of the members of the hype train is working against the townies. Not sure which one yet.

Guys, couldn't they be "spared" by having the doctor heal the person they were trying to kill?

    Welp, so much for that.

Cstar, yes they could. That's what the doctor's role is for. They guess who's going to die save them. If they're right, the person doesn't die. If they're wrong, then they healed the wrong person.

Yes, but if that was the case would he have used the word "spared"?
At first I thought the mafia just chose not to kill someone but now I think you're right, the doctor was involved.

Talk is cheap. You can say whatever you want and it doesn't mean a thing. Some of you tell others to defend themselves. Some of you try to justify yourselves to others. The only facts here, the only truth and fact you can find is in numbers. No matter what anyone says at the end of the day they are still trying to get their side to win and they can only do that with votes. Over the last three days I've counted every post, tallied every vote and studied them for patterns. So far this is what I've found. From this ever growing store of knowledge I will place my votes. I encourage everyone else to at least think about the data I've collected before voting.

There are six members with above 20 posts. There are 13 members with below 10 post. There are two between 10 and 20 post. Everyone who was killed was from the 13. Both the town and mafia are responsible. Everyone who has been killed has been town aligned. No special positions have been compromised. This means that there are 16 people left in play since one person dropped out and was replaced. This means that a random guess has a 5/16 chance of being mafia; almost one in three. It means a random guess has a 2/16 chance or 1/8 chance of getting a special townie. So, odds are actually mildly improving for the town if you think about it that way. But random isn't ideal. Targeting it a little is better. So I came up with a scoring system to see how against the town a member has voted.

    The system follows:
+3 mafia points for voting for a member confirmed to be town
+2 mafia points for unvoting for a member confirmed to be mafia
+1 mafia points for voting for a member not confirmed to be mafia, includes No Lynch votes
-3 mafia points for voting for a member confirmed to be mafia

All confirmations are from the death cards and all votes are from day of death so the first rule reads you contributed to killing a town member and the last reads you contributed to killing a mafia member. The second rule means you tried to avoid voting for a mafia member the day they were killed and the third reads you voted for someone who wasn't killed at all. Obviously, fewer actions prove innocence and more serve as guilt indicators but is the amount that matters in the end. If we arrange members by mafia score we get the following:

    Members by Mafia Points
    Cat~: 7
    Mystic: 7
    Cstar: 5
    hyuge-of-the-twilight: 5
    skull joke: 5
    tale_wind: 5
    Bite the Dust: 4
    Digital Atlas: 4
    Judge Sunrose: 4
    Lana del Jayn: 4
    Jiku Neon: 3
    Marushi: 3
    Princess<3: 3
    TwilightBlader: 3
    burnitup: 2
    Krowley: 2
    Senpai: 1
    Spike: 2
    basilisa: 1
    Beau: 0
    House: 0

Key note: members with the strike tags are no longer playing for whatever reason.

Final note, if there is anything flawed with the data or the totals for anything or even any way to improve the mafia score methodology I want you to tell me so I can update the numbers to reflect the truth. I appreciate everything.

Look I am trying to read and comprehend your data, but to me it really doesn't seem to be helpful. You keep saying that the only facts you can find is in numbers. I do not believe this statement at all. I am honestly a very indecisive person. I like to keep myself active in these things, and I enjoy just responding for the hell of it. And based on your numbers, it is putting me pretty high up there in mafia points. But people who haven't talked at all and just simply voted have less mafia points?

I'm sorry, I am choosing not to follow your logic.

No not necessarily. I don't think this is a logical route because it brings favor to people who just vote and leave and don't really talk.

That's patently untrue. It doesn't take posts into account at all.

    ...-re-reads the post-

...then what the **** were the... -keeps rereading- so, if I choose to jump on a bandwagon for the sake of getting rid of someone, it only gives me more points? My thoughts stay relatively the same because NUMBERS cannot understand the human mind!

That last voting session seemed way too easy. Waaaaay too easy. I'll admit I jumped on the bandwagon, but damn

I have a feeling things won't go so well for me now. It'll either look like a big mistake having everyone follow my lead, or a crafty idea for the mafia to get rid of another townie. Jiku's numbers probably won't help my situation either. I'll be interested to see how everyone else feels about my acts. I'll have to reevaluate my possible mafia suspects before voting again.

To be 100% honest, it's not that you "starting it" made me suspicious, it was just the mass amounts of followers with literally nobody asking questions or debating.

Not pointing fingers at you, but at the same time I am sort of suspicious.

    vote: Cat~

    She was the one
who turned the Krowley vote into a bandwagon, and doing some reading she was also the second person to vote Bite the Dust, who I erroneously accused of being mafia (still not 100% convinced but still) and almost got lynched. I've had my suspicions of her for a while but I think this is enough to get some ball rolling somewhere.

While i sorta agree with you, I have one suggestion. Why not vote off some of the people that just aren't participating "as much". Even if it does end up hurting us, that's one less person to potentially sneak under the radar.

AND she said we should be 90% sure before we decide on who to lynch. I know that's just throwing some arbitrary percentage out there, but when we only need 50 for hard and 25 for soft, that seems to me some major pro-community over compensation.

cuz i wanna get a mafia dead before i die dammit.
and if she is mafia she's clearly doing massive damage. id rather have lazy players alive than actively dangerous players alive.
the whole "lets kill the lazy ones" was just a fallback for not being able to find any among us. if we can find someone here who is mafia we should go after them first.

Anybody else's opinion on if we should vote for Cat or not? I get what he is saying and it does make sense. She is also quite smart, having someone like that on the bad guys' side. Yeah i don't like that idea.

I'm still highly suspicious of DigitalAtlas, but I'll let it go for now and Vote: Cat and see where it takes us.
