Can't believe no one did this already...

Only day two and I'm already buckling under the pressure. Oh well. I'm done voting and unvoting and voting again. However, if we do end up lynching Bite the Dust and it turns out he's not mafia, that will certainly make both skull joke and Senpai seem pretty suspect.

 

Honestly, you don't throw your role out there. And unless you've got issues with your internet/zero free time, you don't just lurk in the thread either. UGH. STOP VOTING FOR YOURSELVES PEOPLE.

At this rate we'll end up with a no lynch and a deceased physician before the third day.

 

Revealing a role could be used as a way to assure you don't get voted during the day, but it's basically inviting the vote during the night. Though even knowing a role the mafia may go after another person.

And voting for yourself while knowing what happened last time could be an attempt to get people to back off. He would know people would not want to vote for someone who votes for himself, though this introduces all kinds of new underhanded tricks people could try that make this even harder.

I'm backing off of him for today. Still hate myself, but assuming what he's saying is true, we can't afford to lose him or lose another town.[DOUBLEPOST=1396876724][/DOUBLEPOST]and since the day ends at the end of today we need to come up with a new person to vote. no lynch is unacceptable at this point. since i said Tail was also suspicious I voted for him, but if anyone has any better ideas please say them because I'm not entirely confident on that vote.

For all the places Jiku's posted since the start of the game, there are only like three posts itt. Seems iffy to me, and I'd rather not suspect tale of anything... yet. We'll see where it goes as the game gets further in. My other theory really has no basis until we get further in anyway.

 

she posts early in the day before many people have posted. that's not exactly incriminating imo but w/e follow your gut i guess. and like i said if she is mafia she's not doing any harm, we should get people who are contributing out first. the problem is the large number of people who aren't posting regularly. they're making this very difficult. is that inactivity planned or no? can't say

Anyone who votes for themselves is likely to get a vote from me. It's suspicious as heck and even if you're not mafia it's unhelpful? Like, give me a reason to trust you don't just off yourself and give up [ this is in the rules btw ]. I mean he's either tricking us or he doesn't really care to help us anyway if he's just going to concede. I'm going to bet on/hope for the tricking us option. After TB doing it and being town, a repeat of the same instance seems like a ploy to make us think we're wrong again. :/ Same with the 'do you really think this is a good idea' sort of make you second guess comment going on.

 

I just wanted to point out that Beema isn't the only one to just vote and not say anything. If your suspicious of him purely for that aspect, you should suspect Jayn too. I mean she did the same thing and she's only been voting for people that have also been voting for themselves. I was going to point this out prior to her posting, but I think it's a little fitting with her being directly above me. However, my vote for this day remains the same. Though if Jayn doesn't talk more, she's getting my vote tomorrow. No hard feelings.

Dude, stop stealing my lines. No, but really, I was going to say basically the same thing. I'd only like to add that, even if you consider the possibility of a diversified posting strategy, Jiku's behavior in particular doesn't fit with either of the two main mafia goals: survival and incrimination. The first is really clear, given her perhaps over the top exposure, and I wouldn't be surprised if the mafiosi decided to take her out sooner than later -- should we not lynch her first, of course. As for the second goal, I'm not sure about you guys, but if she actually is trying to convince others to support her own votes, then I don't think she's doing a very good job at it.

All in all, I still have another 16 players to suspect. Actually 15, 'cause below's pretty tight-- I mean what. Oh, and chin up, y'all. I feel bad about wrongly accusing TB too, but I by no means regret it. It's like Digi said, we're not going anywhere if we don't take our chances.

That said, I won't vote for BTD. I think I'm going to Vote: . : tale_wind to give the current prime suspect a fighting chance, were I to trust his story, and also because DANG AM I LATE PLEASE DON'T DROPKICK ME NOVA AAA
