Any reason why?

 

Cat shows some of the Mafia Tells that I've been looking for. Even though it's really early in the game, we can never be too careful.

Plus, it's only the first day and we don't have much information. I'm going with my gut.

 

Such as?

 

I've read over the posts, and Cat tends to say a lot of stuff that are either one of two things: Jokes, or just stuff that is common sense. It looks like it's helping the town, while it actually doesn't accomplish anything. They are just "Filler posts" if you will.

If you want I'll quote some actual posts later, it's just that I'm on my phone and I'm struggling.

 

It's cool, it's cool, I understand what you're saying. Still pretty speculative because it's the beginning, but it's based in some logic.

And yeah; KHV on iPhone can be very difficult at times.

and as for these mafia tells you were looking at, i'm just very awkward on the first day; i cracked a few jokes because it seemed more productive than twiddling my thumbs and waiting for the first lynch of the game

at this point, everyone's posted and those that haven't been as active have stated their reasons, so we're basically taking shots in the dark. that said, i've learned from my past two mistakes and will be tossing out a vote (that may or may not change depending on whether we discover anything in the next two days)

Being a bit of a joker myself occasionally, I don't think your first criterion is a very efficient tell. I do see soundness in the second one, so don't give up on that newborn theory just yet. Alas you'd have to dig up some more dirt first if you hope to build a solid case. If anything, it's prods like this one that might help us get the ball rolling eventually.

Reasons? If we go by what Cal is suggesting, al's behavior seems to resemble your own. Or maybe you were just sticking to the uneducated proxy vote, which is still fair at this point I guess.

On an unrelated note, Mish and tummer seem a tad too coordinated if you ask me. Could be simple coincidence, but it's juuust enough to warrant a raised eyebrow.

Trigger, any particular reason you went against Midnight Star's perfectly reasonable directive to not put any more votes on Spike?

Actually, on that matter Midnight, anyone you're interested in voting? You're the only one I can see missing from that list of people that have voted.

 

That's the thing, I'm really struggling to get any reads on people this early in the game and I don't have a case on anybody. I was originally planning on putting out a random vote at the start of the game to get some activity, but when I first saw the game after it started there was already loads of votes being flung around and I didn't think that one extra random vote would make any difference. Likewise, I was planning on consolidating Spike's lynch but when I checked the thread after that had been started, it had already got to soft lynch. To be completely honest, I'll be surprised (but very happy) if Spike flips Mafia (though he could be, there's like nothing to go on with him) however I have no issues with lynching him as I don't have any better suggestions and he's not much help to the town. Now, it's got to the point I don't just want to randomly vote for someone but I haven't managed to build any kind of case with anyone yet. I may consolidate the vote on Cat or Cal later but I haven't quite made up my mind on anyone yet. Sorry if that's not much help. I'm going to keep looking and hopefully find something.
