The townsfolk awaken slowly today. Their movements are slow, their faces solemn. The people are spread out now. Unable to trust each other, they tentatively search the house to see who has died. Their nerves come back when they hear a scream coming from the far end of the house. Following the sound, they find the preacher in the bathroom. He sways gently from the low ceiling, hung by his own rosary.

Cat~ has been murdered. She was Father Trebón, the Town Cop.​

A flock without its shephard is a dangerous thing. Broken and shaken by their father's death, the town turn their distrustful eyes to their neighbors once more...

You realize it well before the signs arrive. You've done a head count by the time the wind rushes through. You notice the brilliant glow of the moon outside just as the candles begin to flicker with the same otherworldly blue. And in time with the sudden ring of laughter, rising steadily into a deafening cackle, you know that something is not right.

The Town is in danger of losing the game. If they lynch another of their own, and the Mafia scores another kill, they will be overrun.

Soft lynch has been abolished due to the Town's proximity to overrun. Also, h y u g e will be replacing Spike.

 

Damn, I didn't realise how close we were to being overrun.

The kill was as expected, we now know Cat was telling the truth so now we can look back on her posts and presentation knowing she wasn't trying to deceive us. it may also be worth who was pushing for Cat's death but even that may not be decisive as some points made against her were very valid and there was a fair amount of bandwagonning. Regardless, I think it is worth taking a look back at that now knowing Cat is town.

Today may be an interesting day.

I've kept my eye on the thread, but haven't really read much of what has been going on lately, just skimming. I am, however, aware that we lost the Cop role. It's unfortunate that Cat's reveal didn't give us any real information. If we don't get a mafia member today, then the town will lose. There are eight people left. Three of them are mafia. One of them has the bulletproof vest. Spike was a townie which leaves seven unidentified people; giving us a 43% chance of guessing a correct mafia member. I have basically disregarded everyone's suspicions up to this point because the majority of the thread was nonsense and one - liner posts that don't actually provide any circumstantial evidence. It seems like without someone taking the position as the leader, nothing gets done -- how unfortunate.

If everyone could provide me with their top three mafia reads thus far and why, that would be wonderful. There's no room for error today.

Did I miss something? When was Spike(/you) confirmed town?

The only people that I believe to be town are Al and Midnight. I'm pretty sure Zelda is too, as the only suspicion I had for her was in relation to supposed buddying with Cat.

Minus myself, that leaves Cal, Hyuge, Trigger, and Tummer.

Right now, Tummer is my top read.

 

He wasn't actually confirmed town, but I was saying that he is/I am.

 

The fact that Zelda has been a little more on the quiet side worries me. I'm honestly not getting a town vibe nor a mafia one from her, but I'm going to look back and see what she has posted so I can make up my mind. Al is sort of the same way. I'm not really getting a Townie or Mafia read from him, though he has been helpful to the town so I'm incline to believe he probably is and my judgement is a little wonky.

We also have Spike's spot now filled by Hyuge, and I don't think Spike actually posted anything himself? I'll check that though as well. [DOUBLEPOST=1417488564][/DOUBLEPOST]Alright, looking over Zelda's posts hasn't really helped much as far as determining if she is Mafia or not. This is because in the posts were she has written things that weren't jokes, they've been posts to defend herself. She hasn't really posted much to help the Town otherwise. Something I remember being a trend last game was the Mafia not really contributing any useful information to the Town (Probably something common in a lot of Mafia games) or stating information that had already been stated before or was obvious.

Based on this information I'm going to put her as my top read for now, since I'm iffy on Al and don't really have anything to support voting for him at this time.

 

Well, it looks like if we don't get it right this time, we're pretty screwed.

With Cat gone though, I'm kinda being drawn to midnight, if only a little. Cat actually had a reason to crazy analyze everything with her being the cop and everything. Making a chart of the potential suspects definitely helps keep things in order, but it also protects the person who is making the chart. It can also be used to manipulate data to lead them to or away from certain suspects.

It's just speculation though. Midnight has just moved up to slightly suspicious from non-suspicious, which is still very low.

 

But everybody can edit the chart, so it wouldn't just be her manipulating data.

I've been told I posted the most.

Also I apologise that we haven't lived up to your high standards but I refuse to believe that nothing can be found from the last 10 pages of this thread. It may not be pages of super amazing in depth analysis (half the people in this thread are new to the game) but there is plenty of room for Mafia to make mistakes/leave clues. Likewise, how do you know Cat's death gives us no information if you refuse to look for it, plenty of people went after her and she left us with a power point of her suspicions that we now know is not trying to deceive us. I apologise but I dislike how you disregarded everything.

Anyway, I'm still working on my top reads as I dislike giving them without reasons but I'll get them to you shortly. To help make up my mind I added a post log for Mish as I was slightly suspecting her due to her being the main person to case Cat~ but looking at all her posts, she seems to have been more helpful, logical and active than I'd previously thought so I'm actually now leaning more towards Mish being town.

Also thank you to whoever added a post log for Calxyin, that may be helpful. She's been less active than I realised as well as two out of three of her top reads for Mafia in the second day are now confirmed town and the third one is al who a lot of people are convinced is town. Hmm.

## Vote: Risky Biznu (Tummer)

Simply put, he claims to suspect people that I believe to be town.

1. Even after Cat announced that she was a cop, he still claimed to suspect her.
2. He suspected and shifted his vote to Zelda for no discernible reason.
3. Suspects Midnight! Who we pretty much all agree to be town... I mean, I know we can't be 100% but come on. I don't believe that any mafia member would be so analytical as to create a log of member's actions/voting habits. It doesn't make sense.


@Calxiyn About Al: remember that Cat investigated him on the first night and found that he was town. He could be the Godfather, but I think that's unlikely.

About being suspicious about Midnight: Marushi was also being very pro-town in her posts last game, so it isn't under heard for Mafia to be putting so much effort in.

I don't agree with Midnight being Mafia, but I can see where the idea might arise from.

I'm going to cast my vote on Zelda. Since she is my top read and for the reasons I posted above.

@Calxiyn from what I gather, at the time you voted Cat and explained your reasons Day 1, Mish was doing the same things that made you think Cat was mafia (joking, not saying anything to actually help town), so why don't you suspect Mish?

I still don't think tummer's mafia, but I get where you're all coming from, I guess.

Oops.

 

I can understand why there is some suspicion on me, and I do feel that I didn’t make my previous posts clear. Like I said, Midnight is only a slight suspicion, and she’s not even on my mafia list. My post was more just me thinking out loud, and it comes from not really knowing everyone’s style in playing the game (since I’m new to it). Still, it’s not a very good reason for me to think that, since it’s basically how the game is played.

Ok, so I forgot to post earlier, so I'm still voting, but I want to say that I will change my vote to tummer only if he's the only one going up (besides me).

Mish what are your thoughts on Cal's alignment?

I think that Cal's suspicion of you is a bit baseless at the moment.. For one thing, she primarily says she neither gets a mafia nor town vibe from you, then looks back at your posts and decides mafia because you haven't been a productive enough town member.

The problem I have with that is.. there are very few people who actually have been productive this game. Especially this game day.
