She intentionally edited that in to point out that I used should have said 'assume' instead of 'conclude'.

What is the point unvoting Beau at this stage when you don't have someone else to vote for?

Oh. lol, well that makes sense. XD Thanks for explaining. XD

The reason I unvoted Beau was because I took a step back, reviewed all new information, and think that it's safe to assume that Beau is not Mafia. The reason I didn't vote for someone else is because I don't want to risk a hard-lynch when we still have another day to discuss things, and three more votes for the Fuk? would kill him. Maybe two.

So, I realize that not everybody would understand my reluctance to even go one vote past soft-lynch, so here's why.

During my first game, I was an early vote for someone who was acting suspiciously, but who I didn't truly believe to be town. I then logged off. When I got back, the thread had exploded with activity, the suspect had been hard-lynched, and the day phase was over. The suspect was a townie. For the rest of the game, I was extremely hesitant to even cast a vote. Nova even mentioned that hesitance to vote in his end-game review, if I remember correctly, so it was noticeable. I got over the hesitance to use a vote to gain information, but I still don't like to see a suspect get past a soft-lynch when such a thing is not necessary. Especially now that we only have 12 players, and somebody out there is dead one vote closer.[DOUBLEPOST=1415651598][/DOUBLEPOST]Ugh so I haven't had my coffee yet. XD The suspect that had been hard lynched, I didn't believe to be Mafia. Glob, I'm full of stupid mistakes and double posts today. Gimme a break, last night at work, they left the two newbies alone and didn't tell us that the till was screwy and stopped taking credit cards. That and like I mentioned, I haven't had my coffee yet. XD

Aaaaand now I have to go and do a lot of stupid stuff that is actually important but is so boring. I'll log back on and keep playing the game as soon as I possibly can. XD

I think it's safe to say that there is no chance of town hard lyching anyone today. What if mafia do come in and commandeer the vote at the last minute? All three of the people they can do that to are low contributors. We don't lose much. What do we gain?[DOUBLEPOST=1415652115][/DOUBLEPOST]lynching*

Maru my qualms with Mak are gone since he clarified what Nova was talking about. I got confused. That was a mistake on my part.

@Highlandeɼ: Please comment on the The Fuk? case.[DOUBLEPOST=1415653387][/DOUBLEPOST]That said, @Marushi, your choice is valid and you don't need to vote.

    Just some food for thought.

While he has a point about how there really isn't anything to go on to substantiate meaningful votes, he's using it as an excuse to avoid significant participation or contribution of any sort. Even if he wasn't keen on voting, he could at least participate in the dialogue or discussions, but is choosing not to. Mafia or no, that mindset isn't helpful to us as the Town in the short or long run. He also makes a point of keeping his unhelpful posts short, which seems strange. It seems like something that someone might do to avoid accidentally letting something slip. I'm keeping my vote on him.

@Mish, same question please. How do you feel about the The Fuk? lynch?[DOUBLEPOST=1415654013][/DOUBLEPOST]On that note... @Spike, please post. You are under the required posts for the day and have yet to catch up with events as far as I can tell.

I'm against lynching The Fuk? today. Having just counted up everyone's posts, he surpasses Spike by one right now. As you just mentioned, Spike hasn't yet even fulfilled the minimum post count for the day. Going by your plan, this puts Spike as our lynchee.

    For everyone's reference:

    Trigger 8
Mish 10 [as of this post]
    Marushi 16
    Beau 6
    cstar 8
    hyuge 12
    al215 12
    The Fuk? 4
    Calxiyn 5
    Spike 3
    Highlander 10

    ## Vote: Spike[DOUBLEPOST=1415655937][/DOUBLEPOST]sorry i'm very dumb i already voted for spike!!!!!! derp neg that last vote

For one, my plan was based on least contribution, not least posts. Spike has contributed more thought than The Fuk? despite fewer posts. For two, the question came from me, the plan creator. I since presented an actual reason to think The Fuk? might be mafia aside from 'not posting enough'. If you think Spike is more suspicious, please explain why beyond post count.[DOUBLEPOST=1415657172][/DOUBLEPOST]@h y u g e: How do you feel about my case now that I've explained it more thoroughly?

Spike has at least been participating in discussion, The Fuk is barely answering questions and isn't contributing much. Then he says he thinks I might be mafia without really explaining why.

You said 'least activity'. I think basing activity on amount of posts for simplicity, at least on the first 1 or 2 days, makes sense. I don't think that either Spike or The Fuk? are more or less suspicious at this point. But out of everyone else, at this point, they are the ones who can be considered 'dead weight'.

Having reread both Spike and The Fuk's posts, I'm willing to help consolidate the The Fuk?'s lynch. I don't really agree that Spike has been contributing to discussion that much. Pretty much all he did was add a vote to Beau. But at the same time.. it could be a mafia tell that The Fuk was 'playing dumb' when he voted for me, his reasons being that I was a good mafia member last time. lol

    ## Unvote: Spike

    ## Vote: The Fuk?

So he is.. I had forgotten about that, but I'm still happy to keep my vote where it is. I don't think I'll be home until after the day ends tomorrow, so I've only today to post my vote on the person who I actually would like to see lynched.

You went from 'willing to consolidate' to 'wouldn't vote for anyone else' very fast.[DOUBLEPOST=1415658637][/DOUBLEPOST]Actually, not two seconds ago you said you were flat out agaisnt lynching The Fuk? today.

Logically, if you keep your vote on Spike, you increase the chances of at least one of the people you want lynched getting the vote. I don't see your reasoning here.

I dunno, to me that just sounds like she couldn't decide between Spike and The Fuk until she went back and reread posts. She might still want to vote against Spike but sees The Fuk as a priority now.

Yes but she just made it possible to hammer The Fuk? for no reason and her reasoning for doing it was that she would not be able to come back and stop the hammer from happening? It doesn't make sense. The logical thing to do is keep her vote on Spike so that that neither can be hammered in but they both have a good shot at being the lynch target.

    Da-duuum....Da-duuuum...Da-dum...Da-dum...Da-dum....
    • Beau - 2 (Spike, Calxiyn)
    • Mish - 1 (The Fuk?)
    • The Fuk? - 5 (cstar, Makaze, Trigger, tale, Mish)
    • Spike - 2 (Hyuge, al215)
With 12 players alive, it takes 7 to lynch and 4 to soft-lynch. Day ends Tuesday, November 11th, 7:00 ᴘ.ᴍ. (EST)

I think her reasoning was following your plan on weeding out those who aren't contributing or aren't helpful, which The Fuk isn't.[DOUBLEPOST=1415661212][/DOUBLEPOST]I dunno... kinda pointless to discuss this when we can just ask @Mish herself why she's alright solidifying Fuk's lynch.
