    At the moment, Makaze is the only one that I know I can I trust for sure, I'm going to side with him on this.As much as I would have preferred to take a more passive role, I realize being indecisive isn't going to help anyone.

    So with that in mind, I see the most qualified candidates for soft-lynching are myself and Beau. Obviously I'm not going to vote for myself, and Beau's already closer to a soft lynch so I suspect he'll give us his piece soon enough. Depending on what he has to say before the due date rolls in, I think we can reach a consensus on who to lynch by the end of this Phase.

    I'll be keeping my eye on @Trigger and @The Fuk? for the future phases, but for now I think we have our key nominees, so as far as I'm concerned, we've done what we had to for this Phase.

    I'll try to be less indecisive in the future, it's just a pain in the ass for me when trying to make a move on the first round.[DOUBLEPOST=1415576898][/DOUBLEPOST]##Vote: Beau

    @Beau , anything you care to share, champ?[DOUBLEPOST=1415576942][/DOUBLEPOST]##Vote: Beau

    No particular reason. Though I guess it's just because I started the post thinking that I'd switch my vote to someone else, then decided not to.

    Totally more totals
    • Beau - 4 (Spike, Makaze, tale, Marushi)
    • Mish - 1 (The Fuk?)
    • The Fuk? - 1 (cstar)
    • Spike - 3 (Hyuge, al215, Mish)
    With 12 players alive, it takes 7 to lynch and 4 to soft-lynch. Day ends Tuesday, November 11th, 7:00 ᴘ.ᴍ. (EST)

    I think this plan is a bit silly. I understand wanting reactions, but everyone is going to have similar reactions to Beau's. What is there to say when you've got so many votes against you so early in the game? Reading Beau's reaction post didn't tell me anything.[DOUBLEPOST=1415582842][/DOUBLEPOST]But at the same time I can't think of any other way to get answers and find things out, so maybe I shouldn't be criticizing.

    The infamous plan is more about voting off the less active players early on, I think. The process of elimination simply being to vote off those who have posted the least.

    That makes sense. I just worry about trains forming and people getting lynched for no reason. That's why I'm hesitant to vote anybody right now. I'm curious to hear more from @The Fuk? though.

    @Trigger
    @The Fuk?

    Trigger, it won't do to disappear after seeing The Fuk's question.

    The Fuk?, Trigger wants your scum/town reads before the day ends.[DOUBLEPOST=1415585953][/DOUBLEPOST]And that doesn't mean wait until the last possible minute, either. Please give them if you have them. If you don't have them, then you are being too quiet and might deserve to be lynched for inactivity like Beau.

    Please give your opinion of my plan for good measure.

    Well everybody, I'm back! Just read through everything. I'm super tired right now, so bear with me here.
    Beau, if you're innocent, you're not helping your case any. Right now you're at a soft lynch, and it's not really because you're suspicious, it's because you're not contributing as much as you could be. And now, instead of making even the smallest of observations or posing a question or two, you just state that you can't make a defense and you're ready to die. Even if you're a townie, this kind of playing isn't going to help us any, and it's just gonna get you killed.

    Last game, you got super stressed when you were under fire. You even left because of it. Your calm now is very unnerving in light of that. I still can't decide whether you're a townie or not. But you're hardly helping your case with that post.

    On the note of people who aren't saying much, The Fuk? is now one of the most inactive players. He's already been tagged a few times, so I'm not gonna blow up his notifications. But I'm also interested in what he's gonna say when he gets here.

    the reason i'm not helping is because i honestly don't believe that anything can really get accomplished. in my opinion, the first day is a bunch of gut feelings and hunches. in a game like this, the way someone rubs off on you isn't exactly a great way of achieving anything. if anything it just gets an innocent townie killed bc someone's 'hunch' told them they were maf. there's really no rhyme or reason to it lol

    at least waiting until the next day when a townie gets killed gives everyone a place to start, kind of. like say if someone voted against a somebody else [ and maybe even got a wagon against them ] and were then killed, town would be suspicious of that person who was voted against.

    that's just what i think anyways

    and also i'm not freaking out this game bc i realized that it's just not worth it lol last time i let it get to me but i realize that this is just a game and it's not that big of a deal ??

    Alright, just want to get a clarification: Are you suggesting that we not lynch someone tonight? Or am I reading that waaaay wrong?
    lol, that's more than fair enough. XD

    @Marushi

    i'm not saying that. i'm gonna impose on ppl and try to tell them what to do, that was just my two cents. i just meant that i had no intention of voting someone on the first day, basically.

    @Makaze

    i understand what you're saying but i don't really agree with it. i feel like that ppl's votes do matter, whether or not the voted get lynched or not. you can gain just as much information, except if they do get lynched, then that's just one less townie. like i said before, if someone were to vote against someone else and then end up dead [ even tho there was no lynch ], that still says something.

    unless i'm totally misunderstanding and being dumb lol
    [DOUBLEPOST=1415596471][/DOUBLEPOST]*not gonna impose

    sorry lol

    Well, the reason it's important to have a lynch, even if it is a townie, is that there won't really be any information on the votes until you know whether people are right or wrong.

    I'll use an example. Let's say that person A (now called Alex) votes for person B (now called Bob.) If Chris, Douglas, and Eddie (C, D, and E) also vote for Bob and Bob is lynched at the end of the phase, we have four people who voted for him.

    If Bob is revealed to be a Townie, we now know four people who willingly voted for a townie. Odds are at least one of them is Mafia.

    If Bob is revealed to be a Mafia, we have four people who voted for a Mafia. Odds are there's a good chance at least one voter is a Mafia trying to set themselves up as a townie, but that three people are probably townies.

    If everyone backs off Bob before the day's over and there is a no-lynch, then the votes are just votes. We learn nothing. Yeah, we have a dead townie in the morning, but if the Mafia are smart, it's not likely to be Bob. The only thing that happened was we wasted good time discussing and voting for someone we won't know anything conclusive about for a good while yet.

    That's why it's important to lynch on day 1. We get no advantage with a no-lynch.
