I'm not sure what to say myself. It's obvious most of you still suspect me the most, but I've pretty much said all I can in my defense.

As for the no-kill, that's just... wow. I think Calxiyn summed things up pretty well. Kudos to the jailer! I know things don't look so great for me right now, but at least, with the way things are looking now, we've got a good chance to pull through and win this time, with or without me.

I am not and you wasted a perfectly good announcement to say that. I know the Announcer role is supposed to be town aligned, but this whole announcement seems backwards. Andy isn't really suspicious as all, I'm not mafia, and you're wondering why we're picking on Marushi. We're not picking on her. We have genuine concerns that she is most likely mafia. Concerns that have been vocalized in depth. It has nothing to do with her having the Hated role.

If anyone else doesn't see Maru as a mafia threat, I would like to hear why. I think that's a good place to start today. Whether the mafia chose not to kill, or the Jailer was successful; we managed to have good news today. There are still nine players in the game. Two of them are mafia and one of them is confirmed town. So out of the eight unknown roles, we have a 25% chance of guessing correctly which is very good this early in the game. We managed to lynch a mafia member on Day Two.

Everyone should give their top three mafia reads.

Mine are as follows:
Marushi
Mish
Spike/KeyToTruth12

 

My reads have changed since my last announcement, so I'll post them before disappearing:

Marushi > Spike > hyuge

I shifted hyuge and Spike because
a) Trigger probably unvoted to save Spike on Day 1, and
b) Marushi is probably shifting her case towards Spike now because she thinks she will die and wants to save him if so.

 

The question I want to ask in reference to Marushi is this: Can you be Hated AND Mafia at the same time? Is Hated a separate role within itself (Thereby meaning it couldn't be a Mafia player) or is it something you can tack on to a role? If you can, then I guess that's the nail in the coffin. That's my one sticking point on the Marushi case so far. Otherwise, the stuff from Makaze and Beau is pretty damning.

My top three reads would therefore be as follows:
Hyuge- I've explained part of this. Mak explains the rest for me nicely. Later, I'll try and do a full Hyuge case post.
Spike- Inactive and hard to get anything from. He's so bland that there's something going on. This will have to be re-evaluated when KeyToTruth starts posting. I think his actions will be very, very telling on the game.
Marushi- After viewing the cases made, for those reasons I suspect. Once my above question is answered, whether she goes off the list or takes the top spot.

 

I've been wondering this as well, I'm kind of confused with how Hated works to be perfectly honest.

I was also thinking about the Announcer post: Maybe they're trying to throw the Mafia off as to who they are? The comment itself seems a little bit rash. I think it's more of a decoy move then an actual theory about what's happening, but that's just me tbh. I haven't seen Announcer in play before so take that with a grain of salt.

My top 3 would have to be the same as Al's. There are a few other players that I'm sort of suspect on, but I don't have very built up cases for them: It's more like gut feelings that I won't act on until these 3 are cleared. I think our best bet is to wait on Spike/Key, because KeytoTruth could bring something new to the table that is potentially a game changer. Best bet might be to go for Hyuge today. If Hyuge is Mafia she's trying to use Marushi as lynch bait so she isn't in danger and use her as a "decoy", but it could also be the other way around. I don't know why the Mafia would target one another when both are equally likely to be lynched. It could be used as an act but it's really risky and I don't think Hyuge or Marushi would play the game like that. That being said I don't think they can both be Mafia since they're using each other as their top leads.

 

Hated is not a role in itself, but a modifier. And yes, Mafiosi can have it. (They can have almost any role, really.)

well trig is out and i don't really find anyone else suspicious at the moment so

my top two: spike [ key ] > marushi

like i said in that big post i did i feel like there was def some buddying going on between trig and spike

and i also said that if trig were maf, then spike is probs also maf so i'm gonna stick to that

 

Well considering Nova just confirmed that for us... I guess for me at least, that's all I really need.

New question, if both of you see me as the most likely Mafia member and have listed me as the top choice, with Marushi being least likely out of your three, then why are you voting for her and not me? I'm fine with not being voted on, but if you both agree that I am the most likely suspect, then I don't see why that isn't where your vote wound up. Especially @Calxiyn, considering you said you think it would be best to go for me today.

 

Hyuge, if you had actually read what I said then you'd know what was going on with my vote. I said specifically, up there as you can see in a nice, obvious quote form Once my above question is answered, whether she goes off the list or takes the spot. Yes, there's a grammatical error in there, but the point still stands. My question was answered- Anyone regardless of allegiance can be the Hated so she took my No.1 Spot on the list. I didn't understand how the system worked, whether Hated was a separate role or not and since it's a role modifier rather than an independent role, it is now more plausible to me that she is Mafia.

 

Al sums up what I was typing pretty well minus the semi-hostile part so I'll cut it short:

I didn't understand how Hated worked either, that's why when you guys thought Marushi was Mafia, I was really confused because she had already claimed Hated and I thought it was a separate role. Turns out this isn't the case. I thought I had said in my post that if Marushi could be both that it would be a game changer for me, but now looking it over I don't think I did write it in.

So, if I counted correctly that brings us to 3 votes which is Soft Lynch on a Hated, correct?

 

3 is a soft-lynch for normal people. Marushi has been at a soft lynch since Calxiyn's vote.

 

Another vote would be the hammer for Marushi, if she is indeed Hated. If anyone else votes for her soon, we could have the shortest game day ever. So, if anyone else has anything to say today, get it out now before someone jumps the gun and votes for her.

For the record, my mafia reads are the same: Marushi and Spike.

 

Okay, just woke up, and I have to say that the Announcement was pretty weird. I don't sense any beneficial gain for the Town.

Anyways, I'll list my scum reads now.

Hyuge > Marushi > Mish

Hyuge - his peculiar actions are ticking me off, but these are just hunches.

Marushi - no need to explain since everyone has practically summed it up. I don't think anyone should vote for her though, as it will be a Hard Lynch, and even though Mak has write her as Mafia, we still don't know the truth.

Mish - I...don't have any reasons. Any other reason from me are completely subjective and I shouldn't bring that up.

The fourth spot would be (unlikely) al215 and Calxiyn. Is it just me or is al seems to be buddying with Cal? It's just a hunch, of course.

cstar...I don't know what to say. Her actions are pretty much following who's in charge. Need more clue.

That's pretty much I want to say. Don't know if you think it's subjective, but it's from my heart(lol).
