I'll be inclined to look at the data you provide.

Trigger has not posted his reads today. He avoided giving info and broke an explicit promise. I believe this confirms he is Mafia.[DOUBLEPOST=1416255581][/DOUBLEPOST]We only have a day until deadline... Anyone have anything to say?[DOUBLEPOST=1416256347][/DOUBLEPOST]@Spike, if you don't show up to day I vote we get a replacement. Sorry.

How about a game of Russian Roulette?
    • Trigger - 4 (Makaze, al215, Mish, Calxiyn)
    • Mish - 1 (Marushi)
    • Marushi - 1 (hyuge)
With 10 left alive, it takes 6 to lynch and 4 to soft-lynch. Day ends Tuesday, November 18th, 7:00 ᴘ.ᴍ. (EST).

@Ars Nova: Mechanics question. Can the Jailer stop a Mafia from killing if they guess who is taking the factional kill that night?

The Mafia is not required to specify one of their members to perform the factional kill this game.

So.. that means it is pointless for the jailer to try to target a member of the mafia as it won't prevent kills from going through, right? The jailer is only there to protect townies, as opposed to stopping mafia.

    Right.

What happens if the Jailer and the Roleblocker target each other?

Since neither of them receive word of their success or failure either way: Nothing.

Sorry for the massive delay, guys. I had to deal with a sudden flu and I think we should phone in for a replacement on my part.

Now let me address all of these.

    - Knowing that someone was going to get killed at the end of the day, I didn't want to start off
    - We settled that it would be best to knock off the least active person at the time. That was going to be either myself or Beau, and I wasn't going to vote myself off, obviously.
    - I didn't realize how far his votes had gone in. If you read the sections following that post, you would realize this
    - That's the same as the 2nd reason.
    - I like to make my votes based on what's read between the lines. The actions that stand out have too many implications attached to make solid ground for accusation.

You're making these accusations without looking at the context in which the posts are made. It's slip-ups like this that I'm talking about when I say I vote based on "what I read in-between the lines".

You're pressing hard to accuse me, not looking closely at your own evidence, and I'm noticing you get somewhat panicky every time you try to support that the points you make shouldn't incriminate you.

    ##Vote: Mish

I'm starting to think that would be best.

Posting now to urge people not to change or apply their votes to me before the day ends, as I have another late shift tomorrow and may miss the deadline, preventing me from giving a defense tomorrow.

Trigger's behaviour in this game day heavily suggests he is mafia. As Makaze pointed out, he has not been back to the thread since promising he would give his reads yesterday, despite having ample opportunity. This is most likely because he is mafia and is wary of incriminating his teammates by posting again. From this, we can assume that Trigger is safe to vote off. Don't waste your vote on me when you have an almost guaranteed mafia kill in your hands.

As off as I believe it is for Mish to request something in her own favor, I agree that Trigger is our best bet.

I haven't a reason to argue with this, and I'm fine with the outcome either way. Since he's already in the soft lynch, I'll hold my vote where it is for the time being.

Alright, I'm back for a limited time only. I'm gonna do as I promised and give you guys my scum/town reads, and I'll try to be back on later tonight. But I also have to call ahead about jury duty tomorrow, so yeah.

In order of who I find most townie to most scummy:

    Beau
    Al215
    Cstar
    Calxiyn
    hyuge
    Mish
    Spike
    Trigger

And no, before anyone even thinks it, this is not me clearing or condemning anybody, except for maybe the first and last player. With everyone else, it's just relative to itself, as each person is more suspicious than the one before.

Though, just having it written down is making me rethink things, and even though my points in the Mish case didn't hold out, she's still acting way too odd, while I have Cal above Cstar because she's still being too quiet for my liking. As for Al, I have him where he is because I haven't thought much about him at all, therefore he hasn't stuck out to me as being suspicious. I'll have to try and take a second look at him if I get the chance.

Anyway, hope that helps. I really have to go. Sorry I can't be here more.

@Marushi You've listed Trigger, Spike, and myself as highest on your list of possible mafia. But do you really think it makes sense for me to be on the same team as them? If I am, then I must be the most selfish mafia ever lol.

@Makaze I guess that my last post was heavily in my favour, but I also view it as in the town's favour. With my death, you would learn that my suspicions about Spike and Trigger are sincere and you would see that Marushi is proven wrong in suspecting me, which may put her in a negative light. For the record, I don't believe that Marushi's casing of me suggests she is mafia. After all, my gameplay has been rather odd, as pretty much everyone has noted. (I dread to think what Nova's critique will be like this time, after I played a fair albeit brief game last time..) However, if we lynch Trigger and he does turn out to be mafia, as expected, the odds will be that much more in our favour.

So you're letting the chips fall where they may at this point.

...I never said you three would be on the same team. The three of you are individually the three people I suspect the most. I don't have time to go into scum teams. I saw this on my phone and made it a priority to kick my sister off the computer for a few minutes to say that although I don't have time to list different possible teams, I can say that I know I definitely wouldn't put you and Spike on the same team if I did. That combo doesn't make sense. If you and Spike are both Mafia, I'll be very surprised. But judging individually, you three are still the most suspicious.

Well, if we're just going to sit around why exactly aren't we just doing a hard lynch?

For one, we're waiting on Beau's promised reads. I'd like to see those before the deadline.

For two, we don't really gain anything from that other than a handful less hours of play time.[DOUBLEPOST=1416331322][/DOUBLEPOST]@Beau, got them for us?

At this point, I suppose we wait for Beau to post and the day to end. I can't see anything else that we really can do with such a limited time frame available to us to act in.
