I can see why you'd think that there's not much point in prodding you for opinions, I'm just seeking agreement really. It'd be nice to have your input on my thoughts about Spike too.

I think this has already been answered before, but can't the jailer jail someone as many times as they want?

Mak, you said you'll probably be dead soon: That's why people want to make use of your reads. You won't be around long so we may as well make use of you while you're here. You're the closest thing we have as an authority figure and well, you seem to know what you're doing. Why not put a little faith in you while we still can?[DOUBLEPOST=1416104959][/DOUBLEPOST]Mish, I don't think they can do it twice in a row but otherwise yes.

Beau, if you've seen any of the things that I've posted recently, what do you make of those? I'd like to hear what you make of my thoughts on Hyuge. They're pretty vague, but do you think there's any merit to them?[DOUBLEPOST=1416105355][/DOUBLEPOST]Actually, anyone can offer their view on that. I'd like to see some feedback on my Hyuge post. I don't go searching through the thread on a mild feeling of wrongness for nothing you know guys!

The problem with me doing things like this is that my opinion will probably influence other people and you might be able to control opinions through me. I think your case on @Spike is fairly reasonable but probably will not become strong enough for a lynch until he does more. If he refuses to do more, it may be good to policy lynch him.

What do you think of al215's case for hyuge?

I'd like to point out that if anyone is Hated, it would be smart to claim it now. It will help us make intelligent voting choices.

I would also be cautious of somebody misclaiming Hated, but then again what purpose would that serve other than to heighten suspicion on that person so perhaps not a legitimate concern. Still, I meet role-speccing with a hint of caution.

I'd like to know what you make of my Hyuge case as well, but also I see your point about opinion influence. It'd be logical for people to follow you because since you're the only confirmed town here, it would logically be town to follow you. Bah, it's annoying to have a resource that would be good to dip into yet is fatally crippled by the potential to control the crowd. Amusingly enough, I built a little case around her but that's something that Hyuge is good for. Her constant contradictions of you at least provide a differing opinion.

Calling for a claim is not the same as specing. If Mafia hammer in on the Hated person, they will look bad, but if they can claim they didn't know they were Hated then we don't learn as much. The more we know the more we can discern from how people behave around them.

Good point. You're right, but meh. I'm cautious, although in this instance it's probably good for us to know who the Hated one is. I just don't want to have to spend half a Day figuring out which of two people claiming is the actual Hated role.

Nothing that hyuge has done so far has struck me as particularly mafia-esque. I did have a slight hunch on her at the beginning of the first day but that has dissipated. I think that she is just cautious about trusting Makaze's judgement because Mak single-handedly killed half of the town (or thereabouts) in the last round with his poor scum reads ;P He is the ~man with the plan~ but he is certainly not infallible and I'm sure, for now, that hyuge is just trying to remind us of that.

It doesn't really matter. We can do it very quickly by bring the more suspicious of the two up to L-1 (Hard Lynch -1 vote) and seeing if they pop. If they don't, then the other is Mafia.

By 'pop' you mean 'get lynched' right? Surely by bringing the most suspicious to hard lynch -1 and not getting a hammer would suggest the other person isn't mafia? Or have I misunderstood your post?

You had it right. I misspoke. If they do pop, the other is Mafia. Sorry.[DOUBLEPOST=1416107407][/DOUBLEPOST]And if they don't pop, then they are Mafia.

Either Mafia won't risk something so easy to test or we can fix it in a couple of hours without worrying.

i don't think the fact that hyuge is discrediting makaze is necessarily a mafia tell for a few reasons. first of all, people have their own opinions on certain things and she's the type of person that if she disagrees with something, she's not afraid to be vocal about it [ at least that's the impression i get from her, coupled with times we've talked and stuff ]. second of all, i don't think a mafia member would outwardly go against someone who is confirmed town. it just doesn't make sense bc she'd be basically calling herself out. it might be some weird reverse psychology kinda thing idk but i think it's too big a risk for a mafia member to take

People said the same thing about Vivi's misnumbering the number of Mafia last game, and Trigger's voting this game.

If you don't have any other reasons to suspect her, that's fine, but don't ignore the case entirely because of just the one point.

@Trigger: Please reply within the next six hours with your town and scum reads. This is the best way you can help town now. If you don't reply I will take it as your decision not to give me any more info and an admission that you are Mafia.[DOUBLEPOST=1416109931][/DOUBLEPOST]

@Makaze It's 11pm. It's late. Demanding me to respond in the next 6 hours would be unreasonable. I'll post my reads tomorrow.

Yes, I will admit that I do call Mak out a lot. I won't deny it. It's because he can get incredibly caught up in his ways and unless someone physically calls him out on it and explains why it is wrong, most of the time he doesn't see it for himself. It makes things frustrating and playing the game not fun. I don't agree with his methods of playing the game. Does that put me in the firing line, yes, am I going to let it keep me from speaking my mind, no. I just want everyone to enjoy the game as well. And, I don't want everyone flocking to Makaze just because he has more experience than most or he is more outspoken.

No one should have to feel like their opinion isn't good enough just because he says so. Everyone's opinion is valued, because everyone has something to contribute to the game, even if they don't think so.

@Makaze, I am not the Hated.

@al215, if you have for a case against me other than standing up to Makaze, feel free to present it. If you feel so strongly about me, go ahead and vote for me. I voted for Trigger. His actions were a negative influence on the town. I still don't know if I believe he is mafia or not, but as a member of the town, it doesn't sit well with me and I don't want other people taking such dramatic risks that could hurt us. We were fortunate to have Maru right there during his little unvote stunt. She quickly changed to vote to keep us from going to a No Lynch. He changed his vote back after, but we were really saved because of Marushi.

The next on my hit list would probably be Spike, because he has returned to being the #1 least contributor in the game. If it wasn't for Trigger's stunt, my vote for today would once again be Spike.

I'm sorry I make you feel that way. I also believe people have things to contribute. I cannot play this game alone, regardless of how it may seem.

Your opinions matter, to. If you have any other reads, they might help everyone too.

    Thank you.

Did al215 ask you about your vote today or why you voted for Trigger? I must have missed it.
