Hi I just got home but I saw this and needed to say something.

You cannot make the assumption that because she is playing a similar way to last game that she isn't mafia. There is the possibility she could think "I'll play this like I play any other game, not change things up in the slightest. if I change people will notice and pick it up."

I know you were just voicing your thoughts but I just wanted to push that little comment out there.

Ya I was thinking about that just now, I was just about to double post haha.

I know there's a flaw with that to a certain extent, but it's just something I picked up from observation. You are right though, it could very well be a strategy. If it is then it's working 'cause ya could have fooled me xD

@Mish, you said you liked my idea... Are you going to contribute? I still suggest adding one more vote to Spike so that we have one out of the way.

I'm still not sure about voting for Spike as his activity has peaked tonight. I noticed that @h y u g e is viewing the thread. Are you keeping your vote on Spike?

Remember, Mish, it doesn't really matter who it is so long as we force mafia into a tight spot. We can't say for sure that lack of activity makes you scummy, so and we've already got a soft lynch we are happy with, so don't worry so much about post count. We managed to drag just about everyone up to acceptable posting levels.

Well, I personally feel like relying on a tie and the last vote is a really risky way to play. Especially as despite all the tagging and the votes, The Fuk? posted absolutely no defense, answered no questions, and made no comment or contribution to the investigation, just posted a joke and left again. Considering the fact that he's already at soft-lynch, bringing anyone else up to tie with him guarantees his safety, as any and every other soft-lynch will be timestamped later than his. Currently, I think he's contributed the least out of all suspects and at this point, should be the lynchee.

So idk... Out of Beau, Trigger, Calxiyn, and Spike, I'd say Cal is the most suspicious- "suspicious" being relative to these four players and day one gameplay- simply because of the whole situation with al215. If we're working to consolidate another tie, though, Spike would be the way to go because he has 2 votes while Cal only has 1. (though it is a little interesting that Cal and Beau are currently the only people voting for each other XD)

Bearing in mind what I said regarding The Fuk?'s safety in the event of a tie- basically the same as unvoting him and voting in somebody else- do you still think we ought to go for the tie plan?

I specifically suggested we bring others up to 3 votes each (with a soft lynch on The Fuk?), not an equal soft lynch. That way we will maximize the information we get from his lynch.[DOUBLEPOST=1415673380][/DOUBLEPOST]We are not even capable of getting three different people to soft lynch status with The Fuk? sticking to his guns.

Oh. XD lol, man, sorry I keep having to get clarifications and repeated instructions and stuff. So much is going on right now it's hard to keep my head in the game. XD

If that's the case, I'll go ahead and ##Vote: Spike, bringing him up to his third vote. I do think, now that I fully understand your plan, that it's a good strategy for day 1, and if we're lucky, it'll net us a good head start and lots of information.

    ##Vote: Beau

As much as I want to trust the kid, my gut's telling me there's no need to put Cal at risk since she has been competent activity-wise over the others, and while I did have my suspicions about Trigger, I feel he's been trying to keep people from making rash decisions, which is an attitude I'm not going to punish.

So yeah, that's the move I want to make for now.

    ## Vote: Beau

For the same reasons stated by Spike above.

One more needed for Beau to make everything work out... Or two more for Calxiyn.

@Mish?[DOUBLEPOST=1415674778][/DOUBLEPOST]Yaaay. That's pretty much all we need.

Look sharp, people. Anything could happen...

You keep saying that as if I didn't understand to begin with. I did understand, that didn't make me anymore more or less for it. Mak, I think you need to start watching the way you're talking to people because it's just getting excessively rude at this point. Telling someone that their comprehensive skills are the issue or that they need to go back and reread your posts for the umpteenth time because maybe then they will understand what is really going on. It's insulting. I stayed away from the mafia thread all day because of this reason and coming back now, has just put me in an unpleasant mood and I don't even feel like playing at this point.
Honestly, at this point if I unvote Spike then I wouldn't vote for anyone else. Sorry Spike. I don't find any one person particularly suspicious. I think both Spike and The Fuk? have done much better jobs throughout the course of the day to say what they need to say and contribute to the group. I don't think anyone else really deserves a vote at this point.

As far as this plan to bring more people to 3 votes goes, I think it's a waste of time if we're just going to keep The Fuk? at a soft lynch anyway. I think the plan would be better if we didn't have anyone at a soft lynch. If several people were at three votes and there was no soft lynch, the defining moment would be when those one or two people switch at the last moment to bring someone to the point of a soft lynch. It would provide us with a lot more information than keeping The Fuk? at a soft lynch and just bringing everyone else up to three for S&G's. We would have possible mafia candidates or just idiots that are worth getting rid of.

@Ars Nova, @Midnight Star; for the Jailer role, does that have the limit where they can't protect the same person two nights in a row, or could they continuously protect the same person throughout the entirety of the game? It's pretty likely that mafia would go for Mak tonight, but with the Jailer, the odds of him being safe are probably pretty good. Just thought I would mention that for anyone who may not have remembered it.

Understood. Sorry, to Trigger and anyone else I upset.

What do you think would happen if The Fuk? came into the thread right now?

So Should I Color Code People by Gender Or
    • Beau - 3 (Calxiyn, Spike, Mish)
    • Calxiyn - 1 (Beau)
    • Mish - 1 (The Fuk?)
    • The Fuk? - 4 (cstar, Makaze, Trigger, tale_wind)
    • Spike - 3 (Hyuge, al215, Marushi)
With 12 players alive, it takes 7 to lynch and 4 to soft-lynch. Day ends in 21 hours.

I don't think it would make much of a difference if The Fuk? came into the thread right now. He still has the soft lynch. His vote is on Mish and she doesn't have any other votes. His last post was like 3 pages ago and all he said was "jokes over, you guys can unvote me now." If he changes his vote to someone that already has three, rendering that person into a soft lynch, someone else can easily change their vote to him making it so that he has more votes -- if we wanted to get rid of him more than the person he voted for.

@Ars Nova, Marushi voted for Spike, but it's kinda hard to read since it was in the middle of a sentence.
