    The same reasoning applies to Spike, and she reasoned that posts matter more for activity. She did a complete 180 in a span of minutes and didn't care if there was a hammer. There isn't much else to say.[DOUBLEPOST=1415661521][/DOUBLEPOST]
    I did ask her. She disappeared and said she will not be back until after the Day is ended. Maybe your reading comprehension is the issue.

    Oh no worries there; I've been keeping an eye on the thread throughout the day. I'm quite caught up on the uptake.

    At any rate, I see my biggest mistake was in taking my time to respond, but this is just how I cope with starting from the bottom: I observe and I react. Many of you have noticed that I've been watching the thread for extended amounts of time despite not posting that often, but that's just part of my methodology.

    We all know how bothersome it can be to get the game rolling on the first day, and this was the approach I wanted to take to make my first impressions of everyone. I don't expect everyone to happily accept it when I say I'm ready to be more active, but the fact of the matter is that I have been watchful of all of you. Keep in mind I've already stated where I stand on my suspicions and how I feel about the plans put forth thus far.

    There's my defense; take it as you will.

    I don't recall asking for a defense, but thanks for posting.

    How do you feel about the The Fuk? lynch?

    @Trigger: Didn't mean to be rude with that last sentence. Meant that if you didn't understand that Mish was unavailable from the time she made that post until Day's end, it would explain the whole disagreement.

    But I see Mish viewing the thread now. Is there hope after all? Please address my points regarding the hammer/split vote logic specifically, @Mish.

    Mak, I didn't unvote The Fuk? because I don't feel like he's in any particular danger of being hard lynched any time soon. I understand if you think my voting for him after he has already reached 'soft lynch' is suspicious, but as I said, I just didn't think about how many votes he already had before I cast mine. I should be more worried about how my actions are construed, I suppose, since it's anyone's game at the moment.

    The reason why I didn't unvote him after you pointed out he was already at 'soft lynch' is because I figured the 'damage' had already been done, so to speak. If you think that I should unvote him to.. idk, even out the playing between him and Spike/take away the danger of him being jumped on, then I will. But like I said, I don't think that would be necessary.

    Also, to clarify about my activity, I probably won't be able to post tomorrow, but I'll still be online today for another few hours.

    I believe it would be necessary.

    The only way that a hard lynch is impossible right now is if two mafias are already on the wagon. If that is the case, then it might be wise to tone it down a bit because of that.

    If only one or no mafias are on the wagon, then a hard lynch is possible. If that is the case, then it might be wise to down a bit because of that.

    The 'soon'-ness is irrelevant when you say that you won't be here to take your vote back later. If mafia hammer it, they'll probably try to do it when you aren't here. By both adding that vote and stating your schedule, you handed them the lynch a silver platter, so to speak.

    I felt I owed it to everyone who was getting sick of my s***, though.

    I had my suspicions about The Fuk from earlier on, and I do feel we ought to remove Beau as a candidate for this Phase's lynchee; we're at a point where we should be narrowing our bracket down to fewer people anyway, and looking at what's been posted between the two, I feel affirmed in this decision.

    ##Unvote: Beau

    ##Vote: The Fuk?

    Well, there you go, @Mish.

    Spike, we only require 4 votes for soft lynch. Seven to hammer it in right now and kill the day early. If The Fuk? is hated, this is hammer time.

    Please don't do that without thinking.

    @Mignight Star, @Ars Nova: Is this hammer?[DOUBLEPOST=1415663757][/DOUBLEPOST]@Midnight Star * My bad.

    EDIT: Oh-oh-oh-oh s***, he's at 5 already.

    My bad, that was pretty impulsive.

    Ffff, I guess you were right Makaze. The reason why I didn't think that The Fuk? was in danger is because I thought that any vote after mine would obviously be considered suspicious and therefore, something that everyone (esp. mafia) would avoid doing until tomorrow.

    Midnight is viewing the thread. If she doesn't say anything then I guess it's not hammer and The Fuk? is confirmed not hated.[DOUBLEPOST=1415664541][/DOUBLEPOST]If you don't know what to do, I suggest going back to your old votes, @Mish and @Spike. The bigger our net, the more people we can rule out come tomorrow.

    Don't You Worry about Hammer, Let Me Worry about Hammer
    • Beau - 1 (Calxiyn)
    • Mish - 1 (The Fuk?)
    • The Fuk? - 4 (cstar, Makaze, Trigger, tale_wind)
    • Spike - 2 (Hyuge, al215)
    With 12 players alive, it takes 7 to lynch and 4 to soft-lynch. Day ends in 24 hours.

    The rules state that if people have equal votes, the latest one to get a vote wins. The more people we have available for easy soft-lynching, the better the chances that one of them is mafia. If our current target is mafia, then it's likely one of the mafia will switch votes at the last minute onto one of the other lynches, or some such. What actually happens can be more nuanced than that, but basically, we can tell who is willing to lynch who on a wider scale than one at a time. It's like my original 'we should pressure with soft lynches' post, but it makes full of the fact that we more than double the amount of mafia.[DOUBLEPOST=1415665432][/DOUBLEPOST]full use of*

    I'm not sure that I want to go back to Spike.. He now qualifies as an active player due to his recent posts.

    The lowest posters are now:
    @The Fuk? with 5
    @Calxiyn with 5
    @Beau with 6

    Guys, perhaps you could come back and comment on the thread's recent discussions. Bringing 2 (or more) members to soft lynch status could be a good method to figure out alignments. I only have a few hours left to cast my final vote for the day, and it will most likely either be Spike, The Fuk?, or one of the other two members listed above.

    I don't really care which it is from among those.

    We actually can't get them up to soft lynch, but we can get them up to 3 votes (which is good enough for our purposes).

    I didn't realize my post count is so low >.> I thought it was much more then that lol

    I've already said my little blurb so there isn't much more I can really say. I've been reading anything and I don't really have any questions yet, so I don't feel like I can add anything in right now, Sorry D:
    [DOUBLEPOST=1415666710][/DOUBLEPOST]Actually I do have a question: Can more then one person be lynched per day? Say we got two people up to a soft lynch, how does that work? Is it whoever was voted for first or is there just no Lynch that day unless they are unvoted?

    I couldn't find this in the OP but I'm blind so I might have missed it
