Of note, for something more succinct than an essay. If I did not sit on my head while tallying, the three people who have yet to post at all implies that there is at least one scum among us who has already posted, to satisfy the assumption of Nova's bare-minimum-mafia-town-ratio of 4-1. Put your gloves on. Or since this is Miami, your pastel dress shirts and sunglasses.

 

Pew pew pew pew pew. That's the sound of our ranks thinning every night until we catch these tommy gun-wielding scumbags. Sigh. Having no leads is frustrating.

 

It's all a waiting game my friend, until someone slips, we wait for tips.

 

I was right about not being able to post last night (which is why i warned before the game started, especially because i am going 'home' in two days where i wont have internet and can only get connected at work). There has been a lot of well-established points already and the driving forces are starting to show themselves.

Makaze became a big talker from the moment his first post was made and while marushi hadnt been a strong townie member until we were nearing the end of the last game, she is taking an active role in this one. I feel like ashwin will be a major influencer as well considering he is very analytical, but i dont feel as if any of them/you are inherently dangerous -- yet. Only time will tell. I like being involved and giving input so i'm sure the things i say will be scrutinized as well, but i guess i am just more concerned with those that havent posted yet, compared to those that have. There is a small handful that have yet to say anything and i would just like to hear from them before making any final decisions on who might be a threat.

Like marushi, i try to pin down who is for ure town before who i think might be mafia. I want to know who my allies are and whose opinions i can trust wholeheartedly. She was one of them last round and everyone spent too long speculating james and Below when they were actually on our side. If we had liatened to our good ole' sheriff Below sooner, we might have done a better job.unfortunately we did not and i do not want to repeat that mistake.

If i can figure out which members are townies with and without roles, i will feel more secure and be able to get them to agree who is and isnt mafia. We need to know where our alliances stand before we kill off too many of our fellow townies.

 

Right now I worry about the people who haven't posted and the people who aren't saying much at all. I know there's virtually nothing to go off so maybe people don't feel like they have anything to offer. I'm going to pay extra attention to what these people have to say.

Right now, the odds are against us to hit anyone in the mafia but we might as well be decided on who dies first.
Also apologies for not posting much so far. School starting in a week means lots of going out and shopping.

 

Just got back from a short trip, anyone wanna catch me up on the last bunch of pages and was this topic always called Mak Attack?

 

So far, the general concensus has been makaze, but pretty much all of those same people have also unvoted/stated reasons why they will likely unvote him. Everyone wants to off him, but they also want him to stick around.

So, of the people that still have votes, there are andrew, krowley, and luxord. One of which is just a random vote, i.e. luxord. The only thing everyone has for andrew is that he is acting kind of 'sketch balls' but really, he is acting no differently than he always does. It's just not screaming mafia to me, though he was a mafia member last time so here is a possibility that he is again. As for krowley, i'm a little confused about the basis behind that vote.

 

Makaze went on an analysis spree.

 

It wasnt originally. Nova did that after makaze jumped in head first and the votes started piling up for him.

Basically he is all: we need to jump on this, but no bandwagoning(?) And marushi said that she tries looking for the other townies first, andrew is being andrew so he's coming off sketchyish, and ashwin was making florida jokes that led to him explaining how it was to break the ice and analyze responses. And i said the vigilante makes me nervous.

 

@The Fuk?, may I ask your reasoning behind voting and then unvoting Krowley?

 

Well, I've said this about most mafia games and I'll say it again. More often than not, the first day phase boils down to a popularity contest. Honestly, Jiku was Mafia last time and she was pretty damn helpful, but that's no guarantee that Mak is our enemy. And what about the other special roles, hmm? For all we know, he could be a Vigilante who's testing the waters before his first night.

Now for the other people with votes. I'm too lazy to calculate the odds that Beau would be mafia two games in a row, but I'm pretty sure it'd be slim -- plus idk if Nova would let that happen. Krowley does seem like he's acting a little off, but then again it's Krowley and I wouldn't put it past him to be acting kind of weird on purpose as a townie. Since Lux is just a shot in the dark I won't go into detail on that, but honestly what can we do? At this point I don't think anyone would be dumb enough to be have any tells. We just have to lynch someone and hope.

 

I think there's 3? people who haven't said anything yet, folk like that always seems to come off as "wait and make their move" types, which if they're mafia, and not saying anything is making people forget about them whilst they lynch others who are mouthy and shooting themselves in the foot, so to speak. That or they could just be busy. Not sure yet.

Purely because if they feel threatened, they might be more inclined to speak up.

 

The issue with Mak is he is potentially both our greatest asset and our greatest threat. He knows his way around the game like a lab rat in a maze compared to the rest of us newbies. Right now, I'm keeping my vote for him because I'd rather not get no-lynch during the first around. Even if we do end up lynching a townie, at least it eliminates guess work later on. The result is pretty much the same if we do miraculously lynch a mafia member on day one, but we'd still be just as lost because we wouldn't have any connections between them and the rest of the mafia. So day two would end up looking a lot like a day one. Although I guess we do have all these posts and behaviors to look at and read, so we might have some leads, just not strong connections.

Also, @h y u g e , I don't think we have reason to fear the Vigilante, because if they were smart, they would wait to pick off people until they have strong reason to believe are mafia, otherwise, they're just thinning their numbers.

 

The only people to not have posted are Cal and Reno; though Beema, TB, Haya, and Jiku have only posted once. Granted, Jiku just got here.

If Cal and Reno havent said anything by the end of today, i will place my vote. Until then, i would like to give everyone a fair shot at voicing their opinions. I have an idea who to vote for, but until then i will wait.
