I don't think you are mafia. That's not where I'm coming from.

I'm asking you how we can trust you if you do things that hurt all of us all on your own and don't care about the rest of your team. Like Bite the Dust, I gut read you town. Town who don't give a shit about anyone but themselves, but still town.

If all you're worried about is my suspicion then you've been reading these posts wrong. I'm urging you to start thinking about this a team game and recognize that what you did was sub-optimal. Your complete lack of remorse doesn't make me feel better about it. Why would I play on the team of someone who wants to run a one-man show?

I'll admit I am a bit annoyed and am getting tired of the whole "you only think about yourself" thing. Have I done selfish things in past games and this current one, yes. Does that automatically make me a selfish player who only really cares about himself? No.

Take a look at previous posts, especially early ones when everyone jumped on the "Beau hate train" I was like this is kind of ****ed up that people made him quit the game. Yeah I guess that does make me a selfish player. And I don't feel like running a one man show, because I don't want to run it at all. I'll help when I can but I am not leading anything here.
[DOUBLEPOST=1410402784][/DOUBLEPOST]There is some sarcasm in there by the way. More specifically at the "I guess that does make me a selfish player" part.

The only things you do benefit yourself. That's not usually that big of an issue. It can be in the case of a hammer.

We gained nothing by hammering. You didn't care. You took a gamble. It almost certainly cost us information as no one posting between then and the deadline was very unlikely.

You need to recognize that other town wanted to post. You prevented them. You're trampling on them.

How can we trust you if your only meaningful action in the game is self-centered?

Was gonna say, but I give him the benefit of the doubt since I see him viewing the thread. He's probably constructing a post.

This is the updated player list. I'm going to go through my information one person at a time, in order of where they are on the list.

Cat has unvoted and revoted more times than I wanted to count. I won't hold her against that as I was doing the same to incite conversation, but it's more than that with her. She would vote someone, then unvote them and revote in her next post. That's how it started off. Then, when she would start to actually talk, she never really got too into depth on anyone. "This person seems a little off, but not enough to warrant an explanation, so I'm going to vote this person, but they really aren't that suspicious either..." was the sum of her posts in the beginning. They became a bit lengthier later on, but it was still a lot of back and forth uncertainty that is bound it be reckless for us. Right now I have a hard time believing that she is town, simply because that kind of extreme waffling seems like an easy excuse to sheep out and remain under the radar. A few people have voiced a concern in regards to Cat, and I think she's someone we shouldn't keep around for much longer.

Calxiyn has gradually contributed more and more to the game, much like Midnight. However, recent events have made me wary of her. Before I was convinced of her alignment to the town, but to go so quickly as thoroughly defend me and then outright list accusations as to why I'm mafia in the course of one or two posts puts up a lot of flags on my field. Pretty much the entirety of her accusations were based off of what Makaze said, adding little to no new content and just rolling with it, so far as to vote as well. I admit to having a bit of bias here, but I feel like there are honest reason to have concerns right now.

I don't really have anything to add in regards to Makaze. He's town. We know what his role is. It's true that my first post for the day should have been more than "So Makaze confirmed for Watcher. __// Vote: Mish," but that was my honest initial reaction and I was pressed for posting downtime and I'm not going to go further into this as I have already exhausted that conversation.

Vivi/Jinx -- I have thought Vivs was town for awhile, which is why I included him in the list of people I thought were 'confirmed' town IMO. As this day has progressed, that has become more concrete in my eyes. He has done a thorough job at expressing his opinions and ideas and has kept a consistent level - head throughout the course of the game.

TwilightBlader ... I don't want to base everything off of inactivity, but I know TB well enough and he hasn't provided any real reason as to why he doesn't post other than just 'not really finding any one person suspicious.' Either he on the same lines as 90% of the mafia from last game, or he is just being the most useless townie out there -- and yes I saw that Mak has changed his vote to policy lynch TB.

I'm next, but I've already done what I can to defend myself so I will just leave it at that. I know I'm town and I hope my opinions / speculations on the other members will help take some of the heat off of my back. I'm doing what I can to be a detective in the way I know how.

Mish. Well it's been established that Mish is mafia. She hasn't really posted since then, likely to not cause problems for the other mafia members. All we can get from her now is her past posts which Vivs had done a pretty good job at going over already. We can likely surmise the alignment of at least a few members from her posts in the last two days.

Moksha -- I don't have much to go off of here. TWTNW didn't really talk much before Mok joined the game. When she did, she sheeped for the most part, being young and inexperience, it's no wonder she would follow the lead of the older, more experience players. Mok has provided no new information to the game since starting and all I can really do is wait for him to start saying something in order to elaborate at a later date -- lest I die today.

Princess has been someone I've been back and forth on since the beginning. I was wrong about him last game and I don't want to be wrong about him again this game, but there has been a gnawing at the back of my mind in regards to him this whole time. Yes, I read his post above as I was typing this. There are human factors playing into people's inactivity, such as myself, but when people repeatedly call on you to say something and you don't, then it becomes hard to believe you're ignoring on accident rather than to just keep under the radar.

Okay, I wasn't planning on quoting anything, but this most recent post demands a response.

Except there was harm. While Ben was not aligned to any one particular side, he could have still been helpful to the town's success. He could have used his time to find the other roles and steer us in the direction of eliminating people like the Redirector. With him dead, we have less people able to do things during the night phase on our side. When you can so carelessly shrug off your actions that impact everyone else so drastically, it's hard to take you seriously as a member of the town. I'm not convinced on your allegiance to us quite yet.

There's no doubt in my mind that Marushi is town. She's the only other one besides Makaze that I feel 100% convinced in her dedication to our side. She's just been so open and honest and detailed with everything that I have a hard believing she wouldn't be on our side. If I turn out to be wrong, then goddamn I shouldn't be allowed to play this game anymore...

Bite the Dust, Bite the Dust, Bite the Dust .... His posts have been very roundabout and secretive. When directed with questions, he takes it jokingly and gives half answers. He never expresses who he finds suspicious or posts without being pushed to say something. He has been on several other people's radars before and was one of Mish's wild goose chase members along with Cat and Lux. I'm not saying any one of the three are mafia, but they have all left me with a bad taste in my mouth since the beginning.

I don't find Hayabusa to be all that suspicious anymore. As time has progressed, my suspicions in him have dwindled. He's tried to contribute a bit in his own way. There's the strong newbie air about him which keeps him from being as proactive as the rest of us, but I know that is no excuse to use to conceal mafia identity. I think he has done what he can, and with that, my mafia vibe has dwindled.

What? has a lot of schoolwork which is why he is so inactive and he was thinking about dropping, but I do wish we could get something out of him for the first time in awhile. His posts are far between, but in length. I had my suspicions of him, but with Mish gunning for him to be lynched, I feel like that is enough evidence to prove his innocence and call him town.

Lastly is Cstar. We have nothing to go off of before she joined the game, as Reno never posted. I know you have expressly stated your concern in not wanting to screw up again because you jumped the gun at the end of the game last time rather than waiting for me to return and we lost to the Mafia, but that shouldn't cripple your ability to post and express opinions now. I don't think Cstar is mafia. I wish she wasn't gunning for me as strongly as she is, but I feel like she is a scared townie rather than a determined mafia member trying to place doubt on a vulnerable townie.

All that being said, I'm sorry if this wasn't 'detectivey' enough for anyone, it's just how I do it. Right now my top picks aside from Mish are Cat, possibly Lux -- though he just seems like a selfish townie rather than mafia, and Cal.

Finally, I think I know who has one of the other town aligned roles. I'm not going to say whom, obviously, but I think I do. I'm not sure if it's the Tracker or the Vigilante, but I have the identity. I realize saying this is probably going to have negative repercussions from the fellow members of the town, but I've been holding it in for awhile and wanted to get it out before I die because it seems like there is a strong possibility I might end up getting mislynched today.

So long as you recognize that you could be more helpful then it's alright. Please try to be more conscientious of your fellow teammates from now on.

On a side note, it's important to be objective about Beau. It's true, we were wrong about him being mafia. That's sad. But that doesn't mean we were wrong to think he was mafia. You were aware of that and voted for him eventually in agreement. You must recognize somewhere in the back of your head that it was a reasonable judgment at the time.

On the other side, the defense of Beau was pretty unhelpful. It may not have been selfish but it didn't help us find a better target. It was making things personal. This game is brutal in the sense that defending people, including yourself, is nearly always worthless. It wastes time and makes everyone more middling and unsure of themselves. At worst it leads us to a No Lynch.

In this game we get far more info from incorrectly killing people than from twiddling our thumbs not wanting to step on toes. You have to be willing to die for the cause. If you wanted to help Beau and help town at the same time, you could have cased someone else instead of saying we should go back to the drawing board.

His leaving was a sad happenstance but it was inevitable. We had no way to know that he was innocent. We had some reason to think he wasn't. I don't like how it hurt him but I don't think anyone acted badly in it either. It was bad luck of the draw. We did what we were supposed to do with the information given and we can't expect any more than that. Including from Beau.

Whatever you do, do not reveal this. Remember this lesson. This is very important.

Do not rolespec (publicly speculate about) who has town roles. Town does not learn who mafia are, but the mafia learn who the role holder is. That is a major loss for town.

Role holders will come forward when they have information that can help. If you out them before they get it, you're feeding them to the dogs.

I have no intentions of outing the roles. That would be completely stupid and reckless.[DOUBLEPOST=1410404943][/DOUBLEPOST]Edit: Outing the person. I'm not sure about the role, just the identity. I had a feeling that if you weren't mafia, then you had a role. Once that was made apparent, my feelings about the other person grew stronger as well.

There isn't really a benefit. I know it's risky saying that and I'm sure you're going to ask why I did in the first place then, but it's as I said before. It was just bothering me and I wanted to get that bit of information out in the open because there is a good possibility I won't make it through the day given the direction of today's events. It's more so just me thinking out loud. You asked for detective work and that is part of my detective work. This person's identity is safe with me, and there is always the possibility that I am wrong.

    Tip:

If there is no benefit then your thoughts are not detective work. They are self-defense work. Don't overcompensate. This makes you look overeager to clear your name rather than someone who has town's best interest at heart.[DOUBLEPOST=1410405720][/DOUBLEPOST]Put more bluntly...

That thought did not need to be typed out under any circumstances. It helps us not at all whether you live or die. It's a waste of breath.

The question is, why waste the breath?[DOUBLEPOST=1410406118][/DOUBLEPOST]
Find the person you think is the most suspicious (besides Mish).

Ask them things you think would help you confirm your suspicion.

Take risks. Anything is better than nothing.[DOUBLEPOST=1410406735][/DOUBLEPOST]@lost girl,

I don't see any questions or other requests for info. If you're done gathering info, why haven't you voted?

Alrrighty, first off I left the thread open in another tab and was watching television so most of the time was not me paying attention to the thread. and reading through what I missed is such a doozy. Work, school and health problems have been an issue as well so I will admit I haven't been paying much attention over the week.

aaaaaanyways, reason I didn't post to you Makaze was cause I was busy and didn't have time to post on that day and with TheFuk?'s death I felt no reason to reply to it unless it was brought up, which it was.

I...sort of got confused with the third person writing so apologies if I misread this. I just found it odd to see everybody just jumping on The Fuk? while there really wasn't that much defence against him so I just found that odd. In the situation with you Mazake is that you've held suspicion so I've been thinking that mafia is either keeping you alive so we can address our attention to you while mafia offs others (though I guess this will change now).

Now then, on to this day,

I've been suspicious of Calxiyn for a while now. With the way that the conversations go (from what I've skimmed) it always seemed that she would bandwagon to the most suspicious person, adding towards the flame so to speak, though I am no better considering it is really hard for me not to bandwagon....

    Am I the worst townie?

    Am I the worst scummie?

Or am I just some evil mastermind?

Tune in on the next Twilight Blader Z Which will most likely be cancelled soon

Once again, no vote and no questions. Why no vote and no questions? If you're done gathering info then what are you waiting for? To go back on your suspicion and vote someone else at the end of the day? To not vote at all?

What do you think of the case against hyuge?

@Makaze, I had intended to vote at the end of my post, but then decided to wait as not to be jumped on for being hasty again or anything. Also I hadn't decided fully on whom I wished to vote for out of the ones I found the most suspicious. However, I might end up voting for TB instead if he doesn't post soon because he has still yet to reply and is still listed as a user viewing thread. My vote was probably going to go to Calxiyn, but with TB's sudden post I may vote for him as well because his long awaited arrival was sub par at best and gives us no information to go off of. Although, I intend to wait until tomorrow to cast my vote as I am about to head to bed because I work early AND A DOUBLE [[ 6 AM to 10 PM ]] tomorrow and there will likely be a slew of new posts.[DOUBLEPOST=1410407548][/DOUBLEPOST]
I've already explained this. Yes, I realize this isn't helping anyone, my apologies, but I am not the only one that has said things that are a waste. I'm not trying to overcompensate and just use it as a form of defense. Had this not just been a back and forth between the two of us, I did hope to get some sort of reaction from potential mafia members. I wanted to see their response and if they would try to coax it out of me. Now they are being made aware of that fact and I put myself out there for no reason other than to seem more suspicious, which is not my goal by any means.

Edit: I realize what I just said was kind of contradictory. It did have a purpose, I just didn't want to reveal it to the mafia so quickly. Now there is no purpose as you kept probing for further information thinking it a waste.[DOUBLEPOST=1410407736][/DOUBLEPOST]__// Vote: Calxiyn
