You are now talking as if hyuge is proven to be Mafia. Considering you admit you're not convicted of her alignment and are only voting her because Makaze is, why are you talking this way?

I'm not voting her just because of Makaze per say, but it's because of the points he presents. They make a lot of sense, and after reviewing I believe I eventually would've came to the same conclusion of I had dug a bit deeper into it.

 

Been trying to catch up with the recent (lengthy) posts. I can see Calxiyn as a bit suspicious for another reason: because of her insistence that I am passive. Many people are, but perhaps with that wording, she's trying to get me to help kill off Town members rather than looking for the members who aren't being brought up as much (and could thus be the real members to be watching.) I guess I am, because I'm trying to parse damning information from these posts. She also brought up Cstar, who did say that she's been trying to catch up due to notification issues (similar to my own issues and why I missed two nights of voting.) Looking at Cstar's posts, nothing so far has painted her as suspicious.

However, what about TwilightBlader? His last post was on Thursday, September 4:

The underlined bit seems to imply that he's trying to get people to show support for potential Town members (since he know at least now that The Fuk? was Town.) It's feels like an attempt to thus pant himself as Town...or maybe I'm just going crazy trying to add something to the conversation...

Also, I want to make it clear that I am slower at this game when it's in this text-based form (first time I've played like this, especially in such a prolonged manner rather than a few hours,) so I don't expect to be able to rapidly make substantial posts.

Alright, so Im work tired, so forgive me if im missing a few things, but what i've picked up so far is

Mish is pretty much confirmed Mafia unless Kaze is lying
Kaze is pretty much confirmed Townie and Watcher unless he is lying, but at this point in the game it would seem kinda silly for him to be since he's just put a MASSIVE X on his back for the mafia to kill tonight.

From the above two, in my head it only makes sense to Lynch Mish today, so we have a confirmed mafia kill and remove 20% (There's 5 of them right?) of their originasation and for all we know their lynch pin, and we can expect to wake up to a murdered Kaze in the morning.

Moving on from that Calixyn seems to have formed a pretty strong wagon against lost girl for reasons I'm not 100% sure of? I see that she tried to defend Mish at the beginning of the day when it was under speculation that you may be lying Kaze, but again it would be pretty silly for you to do that, other than that though once it was kinda cemented that Mish has now been confirmed Mafia, lost girl has changed her tone.

Marushi and Cal have been going back and forth with Marushi chipping away at Cal and from what I can see, she does appear to be deflecting a few times onto other members, with mentions of Cat and Princess etc. and that's usually classed as fairly suspicious behaviour, especially at this juncture in the game.

Between the 4 of them, Mish, Cal, Lost girl and Marushi, I think we've probably got 2 mafia in this net all together, Mish is all but confirmed, it's Kaze's word against his, but he has no reason to lie, if he was and she did get lynched and turned out to be town, you'd be instantly seen as Mafia and murdered post haste by the Vigilante or the town, I'd imagine. I think of the 3 remaining girls given the behaviour, and how very abruptly her attention was focused on lost girl, who was from my opinion at this point in time was only trying to confirm Kaze's word for truth, and potentially support a townie from getting mislynched by Kaze, who up until today hasn't had a very strong standing in the town, until he played his card, Calixyn's 180 onto the lost girl wagon has made me suspect her slightly more, because it almost feels like she saw the opportunity to shout cahoots at lost girl and throw the heat off of her slightly. I think Marushi is thinking along my lines of thought here aswell, and that's why I'd say she's the least likely of our active bunch of posters for this day.

So right now I'm feeling Mish Mafia, Kaze Town, Marushi Town, (Calixyn Mafia, lost girl Town) These two im not 100% on right now, but at the minute this is the alignment i'd like to stick with.

We need the vig to kill her. This has the same outcome as lynching (killing her and finding out her alignment for sure). Even better it doesn't require the entire town to chip in.

It lets the rest of the town focus on gathering more info by using the lynch to pressure people and find out who might be her buddies. Lynching Mish today would mean wasting the vote on someone who can't provide us with any more info.

 

That makes alot of sense actually, I have to worry about some of our quieter 'townies' aswell, alot of them have been pretty silent since the start of the game, im not even convinced everyone's voted yet, we run the risk of the vigilante being someone who's super AFK and not even going to read all this information and mess up killing Mish.

I myself haven't voted yet, but this is mostly due to the notifications for this thread not working properly for many of the final days (see, the last two lynch votes.)

I know I'm not really one to talk here because I'm quiet a lot too, but I am still bothered by how little Princess, Bite the Dust, Moksha(I know he's a fill in but still) and TwilightBlader have contributed overall. I guess saying all of them didn't contribute anything is a terrible thing to say, but it does bother me. They respond when people call them, and then vanish. They feel irrelevant to discussion most of the time, and we all tend to focus on more of the big posters... just saying. [Although I'm happy TB was finally brought up]. Cat pops in occasionally and adds more than they do, but I still feel like we've gained nothing from her.

I've been suspicious of hyuge, I called her out last round. Mostly on "poor wording" but I do not know if she was waiting for someone to suspect her considering she said "if that's the only reason you suspect me" and it was until Makaze pointed out that whole evasion thing... but it flew over my head. I would not have caught that.

I should have mentioned this before and I expect no sympathy for this but I've been avoiding conversation when I could because I totally ****ed up the town's chances last game. I kept throwing people off, I helped to hard lynch people without getting real proof. It was all based on hunches. At the very end everything was destroyed because I went with my gut without discussing it, and the two remaining mafia voted with me and killed off the last townie they needed to win.

After that, I have just felt like I'm going to **** up no matter what I do, and I do apologize for that and it's my own thing to deal with, but that is a good majority of the reason why. Again, I expect no sympathy, but I wanted people to know what was up.

 

I just use that as the collective for the group since I dunno what to call them otherwise, players seems a bit generic.

going deeper into that, do I think they're townies? Well i'd be totally surprised if they all were, I know in the last game some of the Mafia took a back seat and let the town pick away at each other whilst they flew under the radar, accounting for some people being busy it's hard to believe that all of these people are doing it, otherwise they'd have just dropped out due to inactivity by this point, there's probably a half decent chance one of them is playing like the last game, and not injecting themselves into the group discussion to avoid risk of slipping up and giving themselves away.

Now I couldn't say who if any of them are Mafia, because like I said, they're all as inactive as each other I think, (Sorry, but I cannot justify 41 pages just to post count) so none have any obvious tells, just 3 people that might want to have an eye kept on them from time to time.

 

Don't be scared to speak up. Think carefully, but act decisively. Know what kind of reactions you want. The best thing you can do is do things that you believe will help you find out who is mafia. That includes risking being wrong.

What? has been busy with schoolwork. I think we can safely say that he is town judging from Mish's unsolicited suspicion of him. It's sad that he doesn't post more but we shouldn't lynch him because it won't help anything.

 

WHOA OKAY, HOLD UP! I'm not going to go back and quote posts because I was at the bar for dinner and that's too much to think about right now. @Makaze, your biggest issue with me was the fact that I had yet to deliver on my posts for detective work. Well that's because I had still been ridiculously busy with work. I worked 5 shifts in the last three days. I was on a double when I said I would do more work later, followed by a double the next day, and a single shift today. I hadn't been lying or trying to skirt around the issues. Half the people in this thread can confirm my work schedule and the fact that I get very little free time.

As for the other accusations, which just seemed to be about my defending Mish and attempting to incite conversation without saying much myself -- that was it right? I'm having a hard time focusing. -- I have this to say:

-- I automatically voted Mish because, when someone comes forthright with that sort of information it's hard to disbelieve. As I had already said, I was in the middle of my shift and placing a vote was really the most I could do. The few posts after that took way too long to type and I had regretted spending the time on them that I did while I was working. I immediately unvoted because I was being chastised and Makaze's post about "this is equal this, but not that and this person would have come but that person didn't" and whatever else had me confused and overwhelmed and I felt it was best to unvote, which is also why I said "something doesn't add up." I was still trying to process it in my head and had followed up in the future about how it then made sense.

-- Since when is trying to get everyone to participate a crime? The more active each of the members are, the further along we can get in the game. I have given details. Yes, I was wrong about Krowley, but did I not say "I don't think The Fuk? is mafia. It's just not there for me."? I said I would place a vote so we didn't have a no lynch, but never did I find him suspicious. I have stated reasons as to why I've found BtD and Lux suspicious, along with continuously asking people to post. I don't see how that is being involved without divulging information.

I don't remember who said it -- Cal, maybe? -- that my posts were collected and like I had nothing to fear. That's because I know I'm town and until this point in time, I not needed to defend myself or undergo scrutiny, so yes, my posts were calm and collected because I wasn't afraid. Now all of a sudden I have multiple votes in an attempt to find a mafia member other than Mish, when I'm not a mafia member.

OH MY GOD EVERY TIME I FINISH A PARAGRAPH THERE IS A NEW POST // WHEEZES // SO DONE WITH THIS!

I don't know what else I can say at this point in time to get the finger pointing off my back, but if anyone else has any more questions I will gladly answer them -- not again, ****ing post alerts -- as lynching another townie would be incredibly unbeneficial at this point in time.

 

We have to risk lynching a townie. We don't have a choice.

At some point we have to stop forgiving people for having busy schedules. Strange behavior is strange behavior. This is the same reason I was sure about The Fuk?. We have to operate on the info we're given.

I find it a mark against you that you weren't sure of the case on The Fuk?. He was extremely suspicious. The only reason not to be sold on his case is if you suspect me instead.

OR if you were mafia, knew he was town, and wanted to take his side to give yourself this alibi later.

Please do the detective work before the day phase ends as promised.
