Well, since I'm being questioned.

I see Midnight Star being taken out by the Mafia as the group's attempt to further extinguish the voices of those who are adding a lot to the conversation as to whom among the survivors is suspicious.

Meaning; I wonder how much longer Makaze has, seeing as Mak's been adding a ton to the dialogue. Do you feel safe, Makaze? I also wonder about the safety of our other top contributors to the thread.

Also, I see myself being called wishy-washy; that's fine, I'm not one for blocks of texts, since I'm usually focusing on multiple things at a time, and I'm more used to getting out what I think in fewer words...this post maybe being an exception?

 

I feel all the safer now that Midnight is gone. I am the obvious Watcher target with her gone.

I threw myself onto a spike with the The Fuk? lynch. I'm sure they figured they can kill me during the day.

I saw you viewing the thread, @Mish . Please come back and answer my questions.

I think they killed Midnight because she was confirmed town, was rallying town without drawing suspicion unlike me, and hadn't found a real target yet. They were killing her before her death would expose more info.

What do you think of Mish/Jiku's slot, Haya?

 

Well, I think Mish is the more suspicious of the two so far. This post specifically made me think so and I made bold the statements that immediately drew my attention:

Pretty much all of what she posted was speculation about me and how much info we would get if X happened. Mostly if I died.

She didn't list any real suspicions.

I believe she was killed before she could do that.

 

I'm not avoiding responding, I was just dropping in on the thread while I was busy with something else. Anyway, my stance hasn't changed since my last reply to you. You and What? are the highest on my list. Although, the only person that Midny was intent on lynching was you, which.. almost makes her death a little too obvious to be at your hands. So I'm more uncertain about you than I was before. Other than you & Ash, I wasn't convinced after BtD defended his lack of activity, which is why I responded telling him to post more. Then again, since you have publicly stated your suspicions of him (and kind of been hounding him).. I don't think that you would both be mafia, so it's either one or the other with you two.

Vivi is another person who strikes me as suspicious. He declined to vote for TF? and instead posted a stand alone vote against Luxord when the day was almost over anyway and I have to wonder - what was the point in that?

On Midnight, if her death wasn't an effort to keep her off your back, which as much as I'd like to believe (because that would be easy to figure out), I'm guessing that it was to stop her from trying to seek patterns using graphs and stuff from our posts. She was the only one trying to present evidence in that way and it was reminiscient of what Jiku did last time, and Jiku was quite influential with that method.

Reminder that I replaced Jiku, so we are the same role lol. And I stand by that advice to BtD. I don't think it's a bad thing to encourage people to play the game, even if it puts them at risk. Of course, any vocal player of this game is putting themselves more at risk, the more they post, especially early on in the game. But I'll tell you why I posted what I did. So far, we haven't got much information from the people who have been killed by the mafia. That's because they've picked people who haven't pointed the finger as much as others have.

Obviously, if we can kill a mafia member in a lynch, that's great! If we kill a townie who has posted a lot and has implicated a number of people, it sucks but at least we can gain some information from their posts. If we kill a townie who has contributed almost nada, we get nothing but a lower team member count. That's the only reason why I replied to BtD with that post.

 

While I don't agree with your reasoning, it does contradict something else she said.

Why tell people to post if you believe that the people who post are more suspicious?

I don't believe that people who post are more suspicious, I believe that people who post more leave themselves open to more scrutinization, which often leads to them being on others' mafia radars. I'm not sure where the contradiction is, so you're going to have to clarify that for me.

I'd like to see What? get lynched today. Between him and you, I'm second-guessing myself a lot less regarding him. Second choice.. I'm not sure. I mentioned BtD and Vivi in my last post, but I don't think we would get that much information from them if I turned out to be wrong. Although Vivi seems to have had it in for Princess since day #1, so we'd at least be able to confirm whether Princess is town or mafia with Vivi's death, I guess.

Not totally sure what you mean by wild goose chase, so I'm going to assume you mean people I'm ????? about: Luxord, Hayabusa, Cat.

 

@Mish The reason I voted for Luxord is because I was not confident on fuk? being mafia because most of the speculation around him arose from Makaze, another member who has been under the lens a fair few times. I voted for Luxord because since Day 1 they've came off as quite finger pointy when it comes to making votes, and I've always had my suspcicions, alot of this game is going with your gut, and I've only had a strong gut feeling about Luxord and Default, and Default is gone now so really If im to stay with my convictions I'd be only suited to vote for him, and not another member who is at risk of death who I didn't feel 100% was Mafia.

At this point those Kaze has given a fair few shots at a member who he's 'convinced' was Mafia and has been wrong every time, he appears to be constantly leading the charge when it comes to them and he has light a fair few torches on the lynch mob and it's gotten us nowhere but a few dead fellow townies. He's manipulative and cunning and I fear we've become complacent in his actions as "Kaze's posting walls of text about this person, it seems pretty logical, I should go with him" as which tends to be the case near the end of the day when a vote needs to be made.

I'm well aware I said i'd eat my hat back in day...2? if Kaze was Mafia because I believed it was just his nature that was rubbing off wrongly on people, but I too fear i've came under his foot and allowed him to sway my decision to not go after him, but I will change that now.

Because you've aided in the lynching of one too many townies for my liking, and worst case scenario, we can finally put to rest this mystery around yourself on whether or not you're Mafia. The last person to really have a go at you was murdered by Mafia last night after all. The evidence is kinda piling up.

 

The contradiction was a little more subtle. You were pressing someone to post more to provide town with more info. You were being an influencer. You were the kind of influencer I am. Odd given that's the basis of your case on me. But that's not very important compared to the questioning.

...Well, this just did two things, you've putten a massive bullseye on your back, and Mish's. You've just revealed yourself as a role, which means you've got a very short life span my friend, the Mafia are bound to target you tonight, plus it does obviously mean you're a town role, so a lynch would be useless. In terms of Mish however...

Okay, that's pretty brazen of you, @Makaze. You could either be making that up (which I doubt since you wouldn't be taking your own life like this without substantial evidence) or I was sent to Midnight by the redirector.

It makes sense for the mafia to send two people at a time to the victim. One of their own, and a townie.

It's important to use this confirmation as a way to gather info.

It's all too easy to just vote and leave it at that as mafia. One of your own is going down no matter what.

I fully intend to do more thorough investigative work when I am not at work. I'll also have more to say, as of right now I can only make quick posts or check the thread at a glance. I would like to know though, who the other person apparently was that got sent to visit Midnight, since Mish mentioned the possibility of two people and you used that bit to confirm her role. You obviously had two suspects. Which was the other that is now most likely confirmed as a fellow townie?

 

Incorrect. I know Mish is mafia because there was no second visitor.

Time to logic.

If Mish were the Tracker and claimed that they were redirected, that would make me the Watcher. The Watcher would see both the visitors, not just the one.

If Mish were the Watcher, that would make me the Tracker. If you read closely, Watching doesn't count as a visit so I wouldn't have gotten any info.

The only scenario that makes sense is if Mish were the vigilante and was redirected and I were the Tracker. If I were the Watcher, I would still see both visitations.

On the one hand, Mafia would never redirect someone without killing someone else. If Mish were the vig, they had no way to tell that Mish was the vig. They would have redirected and killed on the same night to secure at least one kill.

On the other hand, I am not the Tracker.
