I wasn't expecting Tale to be killed, huh. He's been on the middle grounds of activity I think, he'd not had any suspicion cast on him so wasn't at risk of us lynching him and might not give us a lot of information from who he suspected. I suppose it makes a bit of sense. (Writing this from memory will check his posts in a minute)

Also again only one kill, I wonder if the vigilante is just not certain enough with anybody to risk a kill and harming the town.

I'll be honest, I'm low on ideas about why Tale was killed, because as far as I'm aware they didn't contribute that much. Are they trying to thin out the ranks of the town by taking out seemingly random people? Was Tale a useful Mafia kill? I'm really not sure to be honest. I'm guessing this is just an attempt to thin the herd, so to speak, but I'd assume they'd at least take out one of the more active people. The only other reason I could think of for them taking out Tale is that they somehow had a lead, but I doubt they'd do that. That would be too obvious surely?

To address this; my last post asked default for some information with the intention of eventually voting for him based on suspicions around his overall wishy-washyness if that was not clear, but I returned a bit too late into the night. That being said, the lack of reporter at least potentially removes a future threat for losing our named town roles.

Tale again fits into taking out the middle-ground posters but I will need some time to think on his choosing specifically besides the virtue of being a middle-ground poster as was stated earlier.
[DOUBLEPOST=1409609407][/DOUBLEPOST]I am wondering about the vigilante's activity myself, actually.

Tale? I agree with you guys; that one just seems out of nowhere :|

Time to scout through the pages for potential conflict...

I admit I expected Mafia to wise up and hide from the Watcher, but that one was more than unexpected. I didn't even realize Tale was in the game.

    Just to confirm some stats

(This really confused me as I didn't realise Zazu was Tale)

Tale has posted 15 times after the game started.

As far as I can tell he hasn't voted for anyone (correct me if I'm wrong).

He suspected Makaze but actually defended him at points.

So basically we gain very little information from this kill, I think that's a clever move from the mafia.

    Oooh. That explains a lot.

    Thanks.

Smart move because of the name change, too.

True; they're trying to prevent us from being able to make knowledgeable decisions about lynching...

Don't rolespec town. Mafia will target the vig right away. If you have a target for the vig (e.g. due to a role), you can tell them via the thread, but don't try to out them. They can turn the tide in a pinch.

Just double checked myself by looking through all 15 of his posts, literally the only things of interest in them is him saying things for and against Makaze.

This post, this post and this post.[DOUBLEPOST=1409610747][/DOUBLEPOST]I think today we need to get as many people talking as possible, saying who they suspect and who they don't so we don't end up with anyone dead without them voicing any suspicion, we need information from everyone so if they die it's not in vain. I still ultimately think we should lynch Makaze due to all the information we would gain from his lynch BUT we need all the information we can from the day and that wouldn't be achieved if we just sit on Makaze's lynch all day.

I have been trying to decide if Ben's death is a good thing or not. Yes, we managed to rid ourselves of a non-town aligned role, but he could have been useful at helping find mafia members.

Also guys, we're forgetting something. Our dear reporter, default, unlike tale he actually said things of interest. We don't know if he managed to find out any roles or not, if he didn't, he was basically playing as blind as the rest of the town but then again he might have discovered a role and pushed towards it or maybe even hinted at it? Looking at his posts might be an interesting thing. Also I don't think the Mafia knew who the reporter was so they might have tried to push his death simply thinking he was town.[DOUBLEPOST=1409611440][/DOUBLEPOST]Everyone, default has since changed his name to hallucinate for anyone trying to search for his posts.

It's true that killing the Reporter doesn't help us in the way of information about mafia, but it is still a win for Town. It's a day we didn't kill our own. Between getting rid of a wishy washy town and getting rid of the Reporter, I'd rather it be the Reporter.

I'd like some opinions from several people who dropped off the map.

@The Fuk?, who are your top reads other than me? After that, am I still your top read?
@cstar, who are your top three suspicions and why?
@Mish, you've been watching the thread for quite a while. What are your most concrete opinions?

Well, taking Tale out was both unexpected and smart on the Mafia's part.

I agree that we should use this metaday to get people talking about their main suspects and see if we can't pick up on some Freudian slips here and there. That said, I'll be listing my top targets in a bit. I've been procrastinating with too many things and it's finally caught up to me...

@What? I would like to know what suspicions you have of me. I asked before the end of the last day, but you didn't post after that.

i also find it very suspicious that makaze didnt die last night. If the mafia is using him as a cover, then it is most likely some people we have had deep suspicions of before. Rid the shield and the soldier is exposed -- or we kill a mafia member.

I think it makes sense he didn't die as he's very likely to get lynched soon regardless of if he's mafia or not due to killing him giving us lots of information and that has been mentioned before. Yesterday he basically said keep me one more day so the watcher can watch me and maybe find out information. If he's town the mafia wouldn't waste a kill as it would give us tons of information (where as tale gave us none) and we're likely to lynch him anyway. Though if he is mafia, obviously they wouldn't lynch him but I'm not surprised he survived the night. The only threat to him was the vigilante.

Okay to the point about dropping off the map: I am sorry about that, I went on a five-day vacation and forgot to tell anyone about it. I realized it halfway through the vacation and by then it was night. I was happy I wasn't on the lynch list because I wasn't able to defend my case, and I should have spoken up about it.

As for suspects, I always get suspicious of people who pump out large posts that I don't think are worth being that large. What? in this case best fits that bill... but I do not currently have a good backup to think him suspicious other than that friggin long post he had the previous day.

From my original list of suspects... two were knocked out. default and Trigger were both lynched and the only other two I had were Makaze and Princess. The only reason I had these four was because of the two original bandwagons.

Anyway, as of right now. I do not have top suspicions. I'm still bothered by people who do not talk. Also, I'm trying to figure out why @Cat~ thinks the mafia's strategy is "odd" and "unexpected". Sorry if I didn't add much to discussion, I'll add more as the day goes on if I notice anything off... sorry if I couldn't fully answer your question either.

At the minute I'm feeling Princess, mostly because of how quickly he jumped to make the hard lynch on Default on the second day, it was very bandwagony, and the lust for blood there was a bit too jarring.
