Yes, hence pretty much thinking I said something which you thought incorrectly.

I believe he was trying to show you admitted your mistake to Cal, who seemed to miss it.

To be honest tale, I had the exact same thought as you and I still think that the post he made on like the third page did actually seem to imply he thought that 'hanging back' would be a good strategy for mafia. I don't think you're in the wrong here.

Ah. I guess I skimmed past that.

By the way, [points to sidebar] it's he.

Blaine said he/she. Sorry, I should've made that clearer.

I still think Midnight and Tale are mafia based on the fact that they're always in agreement with each other even when one person is wrong.

    So, I was rereading the past posts to see if I found anything suspicious, but dang this is hard. I'm jealous of those of you who have really good analytical posts ;-;

Still? I don't remember you pointing this out before. But I understand where you're going with this, but wouldn't always being in agreement be a little obvious? I'm not saying I don't see we're you're coming from but I think they're playing mafia stupidly if that's the case... but maybe it's that stupidly playing mafia that makes it so brilliant.

If thats the case then my first ever post saying "If I was Mafia I would hang back" would seem highly suspicious. Why would I say that when its a stupid thing to say and give out your plan lol. I voted for tale a few pages ago though.

Or maybe you're saying that to throw suspicion off yourself

Easiest way to do that though is to not mention it right?

But are they always in agreement though? If I recall correctly, Tale didn't vote up KH530. And being always in an agreement isn't a sure sign of both of them being Mafia. If you think about it there are only three Mafia, and so the ones the Mafia need to convince are the town members to lynch one of their own. Even if all three Mafia voted for someone it would be the Town members who would finish the hard lynch. Always agreeing all of the time would look too suspicious.

I'm pretty sure most of us have agreed on some parts and have disagreed on other parts of people's analysis.

And I agree with @Ghost in the sense that by talking about the Mafia like they're against your alignment is a good way to try and hint to everyone else that you're town, and if you need to hint it at this early in the game then you're either inexperienced or hiding something. I say this because the Mafia know that a good strategy is not to lie back, that makes them look too suspicious, but they can't be too investigative either or they're trying too hard to draw connections to people they know aren't Mafia (because they know their fellow Mafia). That line of thought, that laying back is a good strategy may just come from not playing the game before, but I also see it as unnecessary "pushing" for people to, at least at the back of their heads think that you are town.

No, because it isn't a strategy that can really be used in a game like this. Mafia nor Town would mention it because it just isn't workable here. You see what happens when people are too quiet, they start to go up for lynching.

Thats my point though my original thought was that if I was a member of the Mafia I would just sit back, read everyones replies and then on page 4-5 once a few select are "suspicious" I would come in and pick one with this highest suspicion rate. Its okay though if I do get lynched, you'll feel pretty stupid because I'm no mafia and all your original thoughts were wrong

You're being over-defensive and kind of aggressive. Most of the time the first to be lynched is a town, because a lot of it is up to chance on the first day and it's really hard to read people when we don't have a lot to go on.

It kind of makes me suspicious of you as well. I don't know if that's just how you are (defensive) or if you're guilty. At the same time, I don't really want to vote for you yet because at least you're posting consistently..!

We have one day left, so it might be good to narrow down choices on who should be lynched. Throwing some names out, I would pick G-Dog, Ghost, burnitup. Everyone else I think has better, more 'analytical' posts, which makes it easier for town to win this game further down the line, when we can refer back to old posts to see if there were any alliances forming. Krowley hasn't posted much either, but having played mafia with him before, I know he is a good contributor. Although if anyone feels differently, I would agree to consolidate on him.

That wouldn't really throw suspicion off. It would be more like just waiting until the end of the day to participate and hoping no one finds you suspicious which would be suspicious. Hence, why saying it would be a way to attempt to throw people off. If that makes sense.

Tbh tho when we played town of salem thats what I did... I was hella quiet until people started getting suspicious with themselves then I stepped in towards the middle and was like "yeah I agree with so and so" and then I ended up being one of the winners. So I mean it worked.

This game is way different from town of Salem. You can say nothing the whole game in ToS and still survive. Unfortunately, that doesn't work here.
