It may not be a big deal but I kinda felt cheated that the post I replied to wasn't the same one that showed up. This also should really be discouraged, otherwise people could go back and change incriminating things they may have accidentally said. Also it wasn't like you just fixed a typo. You added a lot to your post. For future notice, you should just double post. Sorry.

I didn't add " a lot " to my post, I added a small part of my unfinished post. Plus there is no point in double posting just to get a post count up. Thats usually a rule on every site I've been on. Also lol at you being cheated, it wasn't a cheat code.

It may be a rule on other sites but it's not a rule here. Please respect that. It's not so much a cheated thing so much as what you could have done, even if you didn't.

I don't even see what could have happened with it, it wouldn't have any outcomes on the game lol

Editing posts is really a no no for this game. As for post count increasing.. posts don't even count in this section, do they?

If you edit your posts, it means that you can delete or add things and that people may not see. It makes it far too easy to cheat if you edit your posts. Not saying that you're a cheater, but that's why we have that rule.

It could. You never know what someone could write that they regret later. I know I regret stuff I wrote in some mafia games.

I suppose you're right, I think my first few post will pretty much show that I write it how I see it. Nothing to hide.

To be honest there doesn't seem to be much to go on in regards to who should be lynched or not.

In this case it is a game rule mostly to protect people from themselves. If you look suspicious and someone starts digging through your posts and they find edits then it looks like you are hiding something.

And we don't mind double posting because 1) The site merges double posts under certain conditions. And 2) Posts don't count in the Playground forum anyway (at least if I'm remembering correctly).

So yeah, corrections should be done as a double-post or a quote in this game. Anywhere else you can knock yourself out.

I'll keep that in mind next time. I didn't think about how it could impact the game. Too many rules to remember so I must've missed that one since it wasn't in bold originally.

ANYWAY we should probably get back to discussing who should be lynched before we waste all of tonight on this fiasco. Time is ticking down and we should use it the best we can. Soo who are the current candidates for lynching? Who needs to prove themselves?

(I'm going to change my text colour because a few people can't read my posts)

Thank you to @al215 for the clarification on what G-Dog said by the way. But yes, posts don't count in the spam zone or forum games. I am also going to vote for Blaine at this stage in the game. Earlier someone pointed out that Mish decided on KH530 because she was the first one on the game list who hadn't talked yet, and her inactivity has been roughly sorted out with a promise to do better at paying attention to the thread.

The way it could impact the game is simple. If I were to slip up and give something away, Al sees it, starts writing a post, but by the time he posts it, I fix it, it looks like Al either added something in to make me look guilty, or it shows that I have something to hide. "Slipping up" in this game is very important to the Town, that's part of the reason Midnight suggested putting someone in the spotlight. When people get anxious, they don't think clearly and they start to mess up. And personally. I see this as Blaine "slipping" up and getting caught trying to fix his posts.

But just to be clear, I agree with what Midnight said about maybe lynching G-Dog. I didn't want to be the one to say it lol but I was sort of thinking it. On that note, I don't really have a response for his accusation/suspicion against me because it seems to be on "gut instinct" only without anything else to back it up, for the time being.

So my current candidate is Blaine, my second is G-Dog.

    ##Vote Blaine

Likewise, I'm sticking with my original vote, for the same reasons as before. Mostly I'm just repeating this since the subject is up again and my original vote didn't wind up bolded.

I'm gonna bat on the other side and ##Vote G-dog since I feel like Blaine's mistake was more of a genuine mistake and I don't think it'd be best to knock him out just for that. It's round 1, if he gets more suspicious then I'll feel more worried.

QUICK REMINDER before people start bandwagoning, 7 is a hard lynch, we do NOT want that. We don't really want any vote to go above 4 at least until near the end of the last day. A vote count would be helpful to see where we currently stand.

Uh wot? did you even read bro. How was that slipping up when @Makaze himself told me that the no post editing rule wasn't bolded. Plus what I said had no outcome and tale even confirmed that he/she screwed up my words.

I'm seconding Midnight. Hard lynching before the end of the day is not ideal.

And this is what I mean by screwing up my words.

I don't really know where in that you think I'm deliberately misconstruing your words. I said the first quote, then when you corrected me, I went back to check and outright admitted my mistake.
