So I've been going down the player list and searching people's posts in this thread to see who how much everyone has actually been posting

@Kingdom Hearts530 Just wanted to remind you of your promise to keep checking the thread. You currently have posted 5 times, which while is the minimum, it still isn't very much. Especially considering that some of them were explaining why you hadn't been there and one was "Ah right. I understand then." You need to keep your promise and start posting more or you'll be lynched.

@Krowley You have only posted 4 times in this thread and two of them were responding to Makaze (one was just a gif), I know people agreed to give you the benefit of the doubt due to you being helpful in previous games but this really isn't good enough.

@burnitup You've posted 7 times but three of them were the irrelevant chat at the start of the game and all of them are less than a line long. You've not really contributed at all to town so far.

@Mish 8 posts so far, 2 of which were in the useless chatter part. However these posts have been a bit more useful so I don't think you'd be the best target today at least.

While I'm not sure that Blaine, G-dog and maybe ghost have been that helpful to the town, at least they have been relatively active.

Also I don't know if people saw the first time I posted this but I'm trying to keep track of people's votes. LINK

    Hello everyone.

I realize that the previous owner of my current role was under quite a bit of suspicion, but I'd like to add in my two cents if you'll have them regarding some people's actions.

I do not agree with what was previously said about people agreeing meaning they're mafia. That would be a terrible way to blend in and remain inconspicuous. What I do agree with is analysis and word choice, and in that regard I wanna thank Cal, Al and Midny for being so thorough on day one with so little to go on. Props to you guys.

As of now I have a few red flags going off for certain people, but I don't really have a reason to vote anyone yet. Burnitup and KH530 have been inactive more due to real life circumstances than anything, and I can understand that as it's happen to me in mafia games past. Krowley has also kept his posts to responses, bandwagoning and sassy remarks - which I appreciated while trying to catch up with the game, but don't really contribute anything to the overall discussion...

For now though, I will hold on to the belief that I've always held and remain firm in my decision to avoid lynching anyone on Day One. We have no concrete leads, only hunches, and whoever the town's cop is needs time to gather up more information before we start risking town lives during the day and halve the time it'll take to finish this game overall.

In case any previous votes this role cast are still in effect, I'll just go ahead and
    ##Unvote: . : tale : .

There's still time to cast the no lynch vote and I'll let people get in last minute reactions/votes before I go around doing so.

I am checking the thread. But if I have nothing to say, than there's nothing I can post.

    Welcome to the game Cat.

Okay, @al215, @Calxiyn and @. : tale : ., I think you should unvote Cat/Blaine. I don't know if votes are transferred over but if they are you should remove them. My reasoning for this is that all the reasons for voting for Blaine before are no longer valid with Cat. Just from her first post in this thread, I think she is going to be helpful to town so I don't think we should lynch her this early.

This does mean though that we need to decide who we want to lynch, the time limit is getting closer and I want us all to agree on what we're doing.

@Kingdom Hearts530 Who do you think we should lynch? Do you find anyone suspicious? If not, who do you think is the most unhelpful and would be the least loss to town if they were to be lynched?

While it's day one and I am inclined to give you the benefit of the doubt here (especially since not everyone can pull off the kind of analysis we've seen here already), at the very least you could do what C-star and G-dog have done so far and quote posts you agree with. Obviously, give it a little more substance than a quote and "^," but even without much to say a decent post can be made.

Not trying to call you out here, just giving you a bit of help for days to come.

My opinion on the matter is in my first post. If in a few hours my opinions begin to change, I'll be sure to point it out.

Also v glad to be back in the mafia game, Midny; it's been too long...

There's really not much to go on on day one, so if we were to lynch someone, it's hard to say who, but there's at least a chance of us picking off a Mafia. If we choose not to lynch someone, we may have more to go on later, but the Mafia also get a free kill while we do nothing. But if we don't pick one option in the next ten hours, there'll be a random kill at the end of the day anyway. Each way there's a tradeoff, and I don't like any of the options very much.

You may have already noticed but I wanted to point it out more with you saying this. This game is different to previous ones on here. There is no soft lynch. It is very hard not to lynch someone. If there are no votes then a random person is lynched (we want to avoid this at all costs), if there are votes regardless of how little the person with the most is lynched. The only way to not lynch someone is if the vote to no lynch is in the lead.

I don't think we should vote for no lynch. I think we should have a lynch, otherwise the mafia get a free kill on us. Yes, there's a high chance we will hit town but there is also a chance we will hit mafia. By doing this we can take out the uncertain aspect of someone who is inactive and/or unhelpful (instead of being like are they mafia or just really bad at the game), while simultaniously creating an environment where the mafia can't be inactive or they are at high risk or being suspected/lynched.

Thanks Cat and Midnight for the advice. Sorry that I need it at all. Just never played before (and also getting used to being back on KHV).

I have to agree with Midnight, Krowley (as much as I think your a pretty awesome dude). So I'm going to just say Krowley, you should post more.
Mish was helpful before, despite only having 8 posts and I totally sympathize with Burnitup-- real life comes first. Good luck with whatever your dealing with and I hope it's nothing bad.

I also really agree with Tale. There really isn't much too go off of. Right now, it does sort of seem like a possible lose-lose situation.

You're right, the options aren't favorable no matter what we do, but if we let the rando lynch do its work there's more of a chance to hit someone who's active and contributing like Al or Midnight than a mafia - we could also hit the cop, our best lead into who's more suspicious than the rest - and in my eyes, the odds are not worth the risk.

No matter what choice we make, I do agree that it should either be to lynch someone specifically or not to lynch at all.

I did see that there aren't any soft lynches, but whatever vote has a majority will get it, whether that be no lynch or on me.

While I do sympathize with your reasoning on the matter of a day one lynch, I still see it as too risky. We can still take out the inactive members by coming to a consensus of lynching them day two instead and maybe motivate them to post more throughout that second day in the process. What you see as giving a free kill to maf, I see as keeping that extra townie alive one day longer to potentially sway the vote in town's favor overall for the next day.

It may just be a difference of opinion, and I may be outnumbered, but those're my $0.02 and you can do with them what you will.

Shouldn't we null the votes on Cat? I mean, considering she just subbed in for Blaine it really should null them.
Yeah, to be honest I'm even really sure what to say for most of this. Nothing has really happened so far. Not to mention have have actually life stuff to do which takes more of a priority.

If you want to null the votes then you need to unvote. A vote on the slot is a vote on the slot no matter who is filling the shoes.

The judgment that's being passed is on my role. Regardless of whether or not someone else subs in, the role still carries over.

Whatever happens happens. Once I knew whose role I was subbing in for, I knew this was a possibility.

(also forgive me if i'm posting a bunch of times in a row; i'm trying to make up for lost time)

I thought voting No Lynch specifically was an option though.

Not in this game. Did I miss deleting that from the rules? ... So I did. Sorry, that was an oversight. No Lynch is disabled in this game. Editing it out.
