On Tuesday, and tuesday only at my campus I can purchase a brand new Apple Macbook 120 gb hd 2g ram for 800 bucks. Currently i have a HP Pavilion laptop that is two years old and slowly reaching the peek of HP's lifecycle.

My question is this: Are Macbooks worth it for a college student, who has them and can honestly give me a critique on this, should I do it.

    Thanks guys.

i think there better. but the programs are obiousley like re learning and u have to buy all new programs. but the ones that come with it a really good. and if u have to convert something into a format for PC that is not fun. at all... but i still like them more than my Dell.
EDIT: oh and u never need anti virus and pop up stuff EEEVVEERR!

They're okay, but I use Alienware. It's more expensive, but if you use the computer 24/7 then by all means buy one.
