Kingdom Hearts II Luxord battle problem

I've been having this problem when facing Luxord lately. Whenever I'm turned into a die, I usually stay in that form for a long time, even when the drive gauge drains to zero. The form stays for an excess of 15 seconds or longer, and it's driving me crazy on proud mode. Could anyone please help me?

 

Well, increase your heath and you know, cast cures so you don't die and stuff. Luxord's main theme is gambling, so his battle in itself is a sort of a gamble. Just try to be lucky and make sure you get the right things and you won't be turned into a dice. Though incaes you do get turned into one, like I said earlier, make sure you have hight hp at the time just in case.
