Scath got up, grabbing his books and pushing in his chair. "That was an interesting class." He thought to himself. He looked at his schedule and headed off to his next class, which was drawing. He sighed, and said "Awesome, something I'm good at." He then noticed Diary again, and aked, "Hey, Diary, right? Do you know where the drawing class is?"

Hey guys, I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to quit the RP. I just don't have the same amount of time that I used to have to dedicate to this. Luckily my OC didn't really DO anything this time around, so my leaving won't be that big of a deal. Hope this RP goes well for the rest of you.

OOC: Before you leave, if possible, I would like the role of L. I have barely RPed before, but I'll try to roleplay L as best as I can.

OOC; thaaaaaaanks :B|: Just kiddin, Tidy.

BIC: Magick turned and headed for her room, casually eyeing the people around her. She smiled sweetly at a guy reaching for her, then turned, and walked into her room, shutting the door. Who gave a damn if she skipped? She certainly didn't. Pulling her knife out, she flipped it back and forth easily, her green eyes bored.

Tornados. Cyclones. Hurricanes. Severe storms. Tsunamis. They were, coincidentally, the last thing he can remember studying at his old science class. They were also the exact way his stomach felt. Parker didn’t have a fever, and he wasn’t any more pale than usual. And yet, his stomach felt so nauseas he was considering missing class. And he NEVER missed class.

“Damn airplane food,†he muttered under his breath, pulling himself out of his dorm. English had passed by uneventfully, until his stomach started acting up. He had gone into his Dorm to lie down a bit, and was surprised to find it still empty. Perhaps he wouldn’t have a roommate. This was comforting. He had lay down for a few minutes, and realized he needed to get to class. His schedule, unlike some of the others, simply said “Hacking†with a room number. “Hacking?†He asked himself. “What the hell?†This school was certainly not run of the mill. Oh yes, there was your classic English, Math, and Science. Then there was Parker saw, Weapon Instructions, Infiltration, Code Breaking, Interrogation Techniques, and several others. It was like they were being trained to become a cop. Whoa there.

Parker had never been on good terms with law enforcement. That’s what happens when you grow up involved with all the wrong people, he thought sullenly. Not that he held a grudge or anything’, just… Well, it was a perfect way to redeem him. He smiled. Still glancing over his scheduled, he noticed some classes lacked room numbers. Particularly the one he had after Hacking, which was Disguise. He decided against going to Hacking and instead going to work on finding out where the Disguise class was located. He only had it for an hour, and only for a quarter of the year, but it still sounded interesting enough. He took his schedule and began heading to the library.

Magick peeked out her door, then stepped out. Seconds later she was in a grip hold with a guy reaching for her chest. Not happening. She jammed her elbow into his stomach, then did the same to his back as he bent over, coughing. Whipping out of his hold, she flicked out her knife and gently cut around his eye, holding him against the wall. She smiled sweetly, sliding her knife back into its sheath. "Glad we had this talk." she murmured, turning around and walking away.

    OOC: Ah, thank you.

The gaunt L, his argent pale skin giving off a ghostly resonance throughout the darkened room, stared curiously at the monitors in front of him. Providing the only sources of light in the small den, a sense of eerieness pervaded through the dark recesses and scattered alcoves.

The room itself was quite empty, save for a single midnight black ebony desk that fit perfectly with the conditions. The famous L himself sat just behind, a half-eaten chocolate strawberry in hand. His tired yet dauntingly wide eyes peered at the series of large computer monitors stacked up in a luminescent square on his desk; a single large red button menacingly and mockingly in front of the jumble of technology.

16 monitors in all; a mathematically perfect square number. Of these monitors, however, only three were currently powered on; each rendering a different scene via the countless array of security cameras that dotted the entire campus. L took a hearty bite out of his chocolate straberry, and peered at the first screen to his left.

It was the almost crystal clear image of a girl; her delicate elfin-like shape contrasting with her long black hair. L watched intently as she very quickly and efficiently brought down her male harasser with only a few elbows to the torso; leaving a quick cut near his eye as a dark memento. She was clearly quite the fighter.
Hm. I have yet to see her test scores, however she would make an excellent pupil in our Self-Defense class.

L quickly inserted the rest of the chocolate strawberry into his sugar-smeared mouth and gulped down the small, sweet fruit. He pressed the red button on his desk, and immediately a small microphone-shaped object ejected itself from the previously blank black space near the button. Holding the microphone carefully from the wire that connected it to the desk, L pressed a small yellow button on the microphone with his bony white fingers, and spoke rapidly:
"Mr. Aizawa, if you may allow me to speak to for you a second?"
A gruff mash of static and jumbled speech rang back at the sleep-depraived detective.
"Strawberries? That would be quite excellent," replied L in return. "Anyhow, I am requesting a rearrangement of the academic schedule of a certain Miss Rashel Olau. Please insert her into our Self Defense classes."
The gruff voice indecipherably replied in acknowledgement.
"I shall await in pleasure," replied L, as he turned off the microphone and inserted it back into its convenient vacant slot near the large red button.

L then turned his wide, leering eyes to the next screen; a brighter one directly in front of him...

Magick gently eased the hidden floor panel up, then traded her arm knife for one that could be worn around her neck on a long chain. It looked just like a necklace, except it was sharper and much more useful. She smiled, not a pleasant one, as she tested the blade, cutting a small bit of her hair. Satisfied, she slipped it on, fastening the silver catch at the back, then slipping the panel back down. It was her secret, no one else's. Standing back up, she slipped out of the closet, then back down the hallway, stretching. Hearing footsteps behind her, she closed her eyes, mentally putting together the person behind her. A male, definetly older then a teen, probably a little overweight. She sighed. A teacher, or an assistant. Turning, she sighed. "What do you need from me?" she asked plainly, her voice bored, her eyes on the floor.

"Um, sorry... That's not on my schedule. For today, at least..." she replied, staring at said slip of paper.

Her schedule seemed almost as awkward as the class she'd just exited; some days she had only a few classes in the afternoon (this was one of those days), some days classes started early in the morning, and some days she seemed not to have any free time at all, her classes taking almost every minute of the day. There was a new puzzle every day as well, leaving her only to hope she had the skills to solve all of them.

Her next class was simply stated, Japanese. She felt lucky; she'd never gotten the chance to learn it before moving... however, the listing lacked a room number. After looking over the schedule once again and finding no clues, her mind skipped back to the second room number she'd figured out from the first puzzle. 134. Well... That was right down the hall. She had some time.

"... Do you know the room number?" she asked the other student.

"Erm, yeah, it says here it's in room 157. Any idea where that might be?" Scath replied, rocking on his heels, and his hands in his pockets.

"Oh..." Diary replied, now wishing she hadn't left her map in her dorm. "I think that's in the next hallway over..."

A dull pain in Diary's skull reminded her of how much she needed rest, making her start seriously considering skipping her next class. However, the puzzles embedded in her schedule must have been there for a reason, as she wasn't exactly the best student at her previous schools... okay, that was an understatement (far beneath her potential, her average when she'd moved from her old school was a mere 2.5). However, based on the letter she'd read in her last class, the said puzzles had to have been some form of a test, to ensure the adequacy of her skills. She couldn't afford to be skipping classes if it would mean a lower "score" on that test. Even if it meant taking a little... nap during class. Oh well; it's not like the first day's ever that important anyway.

Once again, Blue is found distracted by something. She was inside her room still, just staring at her new room mate's forgotten map. "Hm... I should bring that back to her..." She suddenly said to herself as she picked up the paper and placed it in her bag. She went to her door calmly and left her room.

Somehow, she skipped a whole period of class because she ended up staring at her door knob. As she walks down the hallway now, she wonders how she could've spent such a long time staring at something so simple. After walking around aimlessly through the school for a bit, she finally saw the features of the person she was looking for. "Diary...!" Blue called out for her as she walked up to her, keeping her concentration on that person so she didn't get off track. She stopped right by her and began looking in her bag for the map she needed to give her room mate. "Hey, Diary, I brought you your map! I think you've forgotten it..."

Magick got shoved into a room, then stuck her tongue out at the teacher behind her. She must have gotten caught with a weapon. Shame. Now she would have to steal all over again. Turning, she faced the person in front of her. He sat at a wood desk, like all the rest, but he had a look the rest didn't. He was more.....serious, like he knew what was actually going on, and could do something about it. "Pleasure, sir." she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "What may I do to help you today?"

Parker wandered the hallways, utterly lost. Well, not lost. He knew where he was, and where he was heading, all thanks to his handy map. He did not, however, know where the Disguise classroom was. He had looked high and nigh, and still couldn't find anything. He paused, looking left and right, and ended up plopping himself onto the ground next to the wall. Keeping close to the wall, as so not to get tripped over, he studied his map. He noticed several things. Everything was precisely labeled. Rooms, offices, even closets were all neatly numbered and lettered. He looked up, scanning his surroundings. Across the way, there was a door. The placue ext to it read, "Janitor's Closet." However, this closet was not marked on the map. Not at all. Parker looked at the map, and then back at closet.

He stood up, arubtly, and crossed the hall in a single step. He tried the handle on the door; unlocked. Looking left and right, he opened the door and steped inside. It was, indeed, NOT a Janitor's closet. The room, lined with mirrors, was filled with beanbags. A lone whiteboard stood on the wall. Two cabinets sat opposite of it. Parker grinned to himself. A classroom disguised as a closet? This must be his next class. Checking his watch, and seeing that the class would start in ten minutes, he plopped himself down onto a chair to wait.

"Oh!" Diary was jolted out of her thoughts by the sound of her name being called, and turned to face her roommate, Blue.

"Thanks, Blue.... You shouldn't have," Diary spoke, with a soft smile toward the other girl; though she did have wonderful timing. Looking down at the complicated blue-print-esque image, she noticed that she was correct about the location of room 157. It was indeed in the next hall over, leaving not as much time as Diary would have liked for her and Scath to get acquainted... not that she was fond of social hour or anything. Just that the boy seemed to want to get to know her, and made it seem that at this school, she might not just be 'the freak in the hallway'.

"Hey, where's your next class, Blue?" she asked the taller girl, looking up from the paper in her hand.

OOC:// I have the funniest image of Mello being forced into teaching Disguise . Anyway, maybe Linda could teach it or something; if not Art.

Fate had been wasting time locating the vending machines of the school. He sought a certain candy but he couldn't see it or at least the label of it he knew. The vending machines where stocked with Japanese products, it would make sense giving the location of the academy. Fate gave up, he needed to get to his next class. Anyway, he would get something at lunch.

OOC- Poor Mello having to do Disguise XD Only place Mello could disguise himself would be at a biker convention. And do you mean Halle Lidner or have I missed someone called Linda? ._.
I would post in character too but I've kinda lost where I was, I've been having to do work on a video editing job I've got and I haven't been getting on the internet outside of MSN because of it for any real amount of time when I'm in the state of mind to really post anything of consequence. So if I could have a recap or something that'd be great ^^'

OOC://Linda = a girl at Wammy's house, she drew the sketches of Mello and Near for the Japanese task force.

You haven't really missed anything :3. All the students are figuring out their schedules and all that stuff.
