Do u believe in love at first sight y or y not?

 

I don't, i mean check out the celebreties. they fall in love at first sight, get married, and then the next two weeks or so they file for divorce.

 

A physical atraction can happen upon the first sight, simply because we know what constitutes an attractive person to us. But love is something far different, as love is emotional, and mental. How can we say we love someone if we haven't ahd the chance to emotionally conect with them, and determine we find their personality as attractive as their body, or more so attractive?

We can't. But we can tell ourselves that we love someone, simply because we've seen them. But that is simply fooling ourselves, and fooling out hearts.

 

To truly love someone I think you have to at least know them, which you cannot do by simply seeing them, so no, I do not believe in it. I do believe in lust at first sight however.​

 

To go along with this, it's possible to misconstrue a physical attraction as love at first sight later in a relationship.
If you find the "one," you might remember being physically attracted to them when you first saw them. But because you are now in love, you can be fooled into thinking that attraction was love at first sight, even though you have been attracted in that same way to others.

So do I believe in love at first sight? Nope.
I believe in lust at first sight.
But that lust can grow into true love.

 

Love? There is no such thing as love. This thing known as love, starts out as lust, and usually is nothing more, but increases to such a high level, some say that it's love. However, love implies that you shall stay with that person, literally until death do they part. And, sadly, this only exists in fairy tales.

But, it's not like anyone actually cares about my opinion.

 

I completely disagree.
Yes, true love is rare and love at first sight may not be real, but love does exist.
There may be an increase in divorce rates, but that doesn't mean actual love does not exist.
People have been wedded til death before.

And posting "no one cares about my opinion", yeah, stop that.

 

Love at first sight is not the way to describe the feeling, it's more like lust at first sight.

 

I don't believe in love at first sight. Mαinstяεαm expressed it quite well: there can be an initial lust of perhaps a desire to get to know eachother but I seriously doubt that there are a lot of guys around that would throw himself in a fire for the love of a wench they met five seconds ago. Unlike many RPGs make us believe.

I understand this. However, I've seen it so little, I've started allowing myself to believe that it only existed in fairy tales.

But yeah, there is no such thing as love at first sight. I say there is no such thing because love is more of an emotional connection between two people and you can really love a person if you just met them and barely know them.

 

here's my oppionion:
I believe tht there is someone for everyone. There is one true love for everyone. Therefore i believe in love at first sight... i believe this because, the first time u see this person, u fall for them... not just because of lust but because u have this great feeling inside of u... a feeling tht means u r meant to be with this person. Someone, something is leading u to this person... and the reason is to be together forever in happiness and love.

I don't believe in logic. Or in love at first site. However, I do believe in the above. Or, rather, parts of it. I believe that everyone on earth has a perfect match, but they could be anywhere in the world. One might even go his/her entire lifetime without finding them. However, if you do find them, you won't know it's them, until you build up a friendship with them. Eventually, you do experience the feeling that zexionXienzo6 said.

 

Nope. Love at first sight is bull, really. I mean, in some cases maaaaybe, but those cases are extremely rare. And I agree with the "lust at first sight" thing. You walk by some hot guy, go "Ohhh, love 'im" to your friends... No, not love, LUST. Huge difference.

 

ehh ur thinking too logically... go deeper! have an imagination. Sometimes things can seem like bull, or unreal because they're amazing... but in life... things dont always have to make sense.

 

There is no such thing as love at first sight. There is lust at first sight, but Love takes time to build. ALWAYS!!

 

Well, it may be love. Or it may be that she's a member of the opposite gender, and, let's face it, no one of any gender can understand anyone of the opposite gender.

Idea! Have you tried talking to her? Find out why she's not talking to you? It might work.

 

ur just not ment to be... maybe itll work out though... u never know! let things cool down, she cant ignore u forever. And if it doesnt work out, there are plenty fish in da sea... a little cliche, but sometimes we have to be.
