Love

It's a worthless feeling.
That is between a man and a woman.
Family members.
Or a teenage boy and girl.
What is love?

It's a feeling that hurts you.
It's a feeling that will take over your mind.
It's a certain feeling.
That after it's gone.
You feel lonley.

You first meet that special person.
Then you fall in love.
Then you get together for a while.
Then u get dumped.
You wonder.

Was the love for nothing?.
What was it in the first place?.
Was it supposed to make you happy?.
Was it supposed to make you sad?.
What was the feeling supposed to do?.

I don't know.
Have u ever been loved?
I haven't.
I might have been loved.
But it was long ago.

Not anymore.
Is anybody really loved.
They might be caring.
They might be friendly.
But you'll never be truely loved.

Not now.
Not ever.
That's how it is.
You'll grow old.
Without being loved.

You'll die in vain.
Your life goes down the drain.
Like u get murdered.
Never fall in love.
Cause you'll just get hurt.

It lacks maturity in my opinion, and resembles the run-of-the-mill cliche that results from insufficient life experience. There's nothing wrong with sad poetry, but it has to be poetry as opposed some listless whinny piece arranged in a clever pattern.
