Love is eating away at me slowly

Okay listen I am in love with my best friend, but she had a boyfriend in Denmark. Yeah in Denmark, 10 years older than me too. I tried to stay happy for her, but I just want to cut her boyfriend in half.
I have confesed my feeling for her multiple times, and everytime I get turned down because she has a boyfriend. At some times I think my life would be better without her. Which is not true since she is the one who helped me come over my bigotry.
I have never loved someone like Sierra in my whole life! She is so smart, and pretty and intelligent. Its not fair, why couldn't I have me her before she had her damn boyfriend? Why does her boyfriend even have to exist?
I don't know what to do. I don't want to leave her, because she is the only person who truley understands me, but I don't want to keep getting hurt.
I tried datting other people, but one turned out to be a bigot, and the other one hasn't talked to me ever since I told he I was an atheist. I don't think there is anyone who I will love as much as I do Sierra...
What should I do?

There's not much you can do in situations like that. It's the way love is, I know, it sucks ass. If you've told her how you feel already, you have to wait or move on.
I would suggest not giving up on her, though. Long distance relationships don't usually last too long, like when one has a boyfriend in Denmark.

Well heres the real problem he has already visited her this summer, and now she is going to visit him in a couple weeks!
They have been together for years.
She even knows how to speak Danish. :/gasp:

 

What you said about her being the only one who understands you is not true. You'll find that if you ge out a lot more, there are heaps of other girls who are smart, cute, funny, pretty etc. You tried dating other girls, yes? One of them was a christian??? Your Athiest, religious girlfriends should not phase you, unless they're OVERLY religious and pressurise you to go to church or something...

Nevertheless, keep looking for another special girl, but dont lose hope with Sierra. If you confessed your feelings and you guys are still friends, then you have a nice friendship going on, in some cases you dont want to ruin that...believe me, I know.

Don't lie to me. Its impossible to ignore somthing for ever. Its like trying to win the game. Noone can ever win the game, because humans don't have a delete button. My pain will be as a Raven on the bust over my main chamber door crying Nevermore.

I know I need to get out in the world, its just that, Idk it seems pointless, there are billions of humans on the earth, whats the possibility of me finding someone that will work for me?
(also the christian girl has never called me back ever since I explained to her what an atheist was.)

It can go away. You said you loved her since November? The two girls that I've ever been closed to being in love with, I chased one a whole year and the other two. And I know I was in lvoe with the second. Since Graduation, I haven't talked to her, we didn't have a formal goodbye, we didn't even say goodbye. I left her a comment on facebook, we had like a 4 comment conversation. I've moved on, even without knowing it. I don't know how many girls I've been involved with since then (Wow that sounded conceited) so move on. Stay friends.

The thing I've figured out about girls and older guys: It almost NEVER works out. Move on, stay friends, and if you're lucky, something may happen in the future

It may not go away. she might be with him forever but channel that love you have into someone else. it may be hard but you have to that unless you want to be like the man in the poem “Annabel Lee” from Edgar Allen Poe's works.
Theres always someone out there for you. When you feel like you can give up anything for that girl then she is the one.

Is it even possible to feel that deeply in love that you would give up your entire Identity? I don't want to change myself if thats what your saying,
and how am I supposed to channel my love to someone else?

 

Its possible to fall that deeply in love because i'm a former atheist and i gave that up for my true love. Ruon did also until his true love died.

How you channel your love is your decision. Sometimes its good to do it the same way you did before. Sometimes not because it leads you down the same path.

You kind of do give up your identity= your true self in a way
when you're in relationship in which the girl wears the pants.

I have already changed my identity for her already.
She helped me become an atheist, it took me awhile, but then I was finnally able to grasp the concept of it; although I wasn't that easy to convert. :/gasp:

lol I knew what you meant by pants.... come to think of it she is pretty dominant, but she isn't mean like other girls who would hit you if you did somthing wrong. Most of the time she likes to take the lead, but somtimes I take the lead, it just depends on the day.
I am not sure if I would take a bullet for her, my heart says yes I would do anything I could to save her, so I would take a bullet for her.

 

I love one of my best friends too, and leaving them is not the answer, no matter what. Trust me, if she makes you more happy when she makes you happy, than sad when she makes you sad, keep her around as a friend. That sounded like it made no sense, but it did. (I say a lot of confusing things that actually make sense if you think about it right) Who knows, maybe someday she'll fall for you, maybe, maybe not. But she definitely won't if she's not around you anymore. Things have a funny way of working themselves out though.
