I got hooked onto this series as soon as I finished up with A.I. Love You. This series is what inspired me in the type of writing I do. There are ecchi scenes throughout the series, but the male protagonist finally grows into a responsible and heart-warming hero while retaining his clumsy, accidental prone persona as well.

And although Naru manages to beat him up at least once every volume, Keitaro's "invincibility" and her eventual feeling towards him makes it all worth the effort.

Ahh, I love this series. I have quite a few of these mangas. It's in my top 10 favorite romance manga. I just love all the comical moments between the seriousness and such~

Hah, no wonder you like it x3

Um, I've read the first manga book since I got it for free in the mail. It was funny but not something I kept buying :3

Even if you don't buy it, it's still worth the read. New characters are introduced after the first one. And the storyline & artwork get better as it progresses as well.

Ahhhhh, I remember the first time I read Love Hina.... I blushed like hell cause it was one of the first mangas to come to Norway. (remember Manga Mania, Sammy?) Wasn't used to ecchi so I didn't know what to espect. XD But it was one of my fav mangas, I really like Ken Akamatsu's work - it was one of my main inspirations when learning how to draw manga style.

We used to get the manga through a magazine with some mangas, but then that ended and Love Hina eventually came in pocket issues instead. But I have 6 dvds so I didn't continue on the manga, I have to save my moneys for the other mangas I read! X3 Gotta say that moments where Keitaro is all confused and in panic were my fav ones.

I have only seen about 3 episodes and I have a question: What is with the three old guys randomly showing up giving advice?

So this is where you got your super awsome perverted writing from? Thank you Ken Akamatsu!

First off, shouldn't this be asked in the anime section? I believe I created a thread for the anime as well.

And to answer your question, they're supposedly spirits or something that give advice or voice out a character's thoughts. Other than that, they have nothing else to do with the plot.

It took me forever but I finally found a site that didn't block Love Hina and I just finished reading it. I whole-heartily agree with your first post Destiny's Force. It is one of my all time favorites now. I am sad now that I read it all.

I started reading this manga when I borrowed it from a friend, and instantly got hooked. When I found he only had half of the series, I immediately read the rest of it online. i love this manga to the extent that words cannot describe how I feel about it.

Same here. I am extremely sad that it is over. I love it so much, my myspace and my laptop's background are dedicated to it.

The him-bashing makes it marginally more awesome.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have been nearly as popular otherwise.
