The last one wasn't the greatest, however adding co-op is a definite plus and it seems they fixed the camera/aimer issues just by watching the char actually turn with the camera now. Could be wrong though since we saw no hud. Wouldn't mind if they got rid of the thermal engery either... Either way, I'm waiting to see where this goes. If it's a co-op version of the first one with some different environments then no thanks >>

Oh, no. The first lost Planet was okay, but like shadowjak said, it's online and offline game play sorta sucked... THIS(LP2) looks like a Gears 2 rip off. But it's too early to say.
What I wonder about this whether or not it will come out this year. They have easily just shown us two levels and I'm guessing that isn't all they have finished. I'm wondering if this will be Capcom's fall release or if it will early 2010.
How though? It doesn't have a cover system which I guess you could be stupid and call it a Gears rip for that, but you can't. It's a third person shooter, oh wait you're right Gears invented that my mistake. One of the main purposes of the game is intense giant boss battles and mechs which Gears was famous for /sarcasm.
In other words you <3 LP and feel a need to defend it for being average. Got'cha. Srsly, I do like the idea of 4 player co-op going with the run-n-gun+Gundam style of the game. I'm actually hyped.
I've never actually played the first one completely. Just a while at my friends' house. I just hate it when somebody calls a game a rip off of another game when they have nothing in common besides being TPS and having nice graphics.

I never said it. Actually, if you read my post I said it was third person version of Halo what with the run n gun style but instead of easy to use cars we have easy to use mechs. However, I wouldn't put too much thought into it. LP is pretty original only because Capcom doesn't rip off games, they make the games people rip off. I just use that to describe it to people who want to buy it. That was a hidden shot at GTAIV being terrible but if you want I can go into it.
I read your post, I just decided to assume that since you answered my post you were defending TGH. Yes it has a run/gun style of gameplay but so many games have that you can't just say it's Halo TPS Edition. I just really wanted to know how that kid thought LP2 looked like a Gears 2 rip when the game's not even out and I've played LP and both Gears, and can say that LP is nothing like Gears. Yea I got that, I was just playing dumb since I know your opinion on GTA4 already :D
I have played both too and I concur with what you're saying. I was just trying to get you admit you liked Lost Planet even though it sucks ;P Ok it doesn't suck, but it is mediocre at best due to the aiming system. Everything else runs great it's just the terrible aimer (to nitpick it's also the over-complications in rolling, the sh*tty unneeded thermal energy system, bad zoom in, and the infinite knock downs) which is important in any shooter (dur). That being said, I do love this game's multiplayer. However their is a better Capcom shooter coming out this year. It's name is DARK-f*cking-VOID
