I didn't see this one on here so I'm making one. Out of the lord of the rings trilogy which one was your favorite? For me its a toss up between the two towers and the return of the king. I like it how Legolas and Gimli count all the orcs they kill lol. Though they never gave Sam as much credit. I know Frodo destroyed the ring and all, but without Sam Frodo would have died. Everyone was so worried about Frodo, but what about Sam?

    i <3 these movies :3
and i for sure love RotK the best, but say that the battle in helms deep in the 2nd was the best battle in all three films

and i could care less about sam, he was a fat little hobbit who tried to take our precious, yes our precious.........

I've never actually seen part of the trilogy. Should I watch it?

I recommend that anyone who hasn't seen this trilogy should see it.

Sam was a very underrated character, but I think in a way that was the point. There are those who serve and play a major part in events who always get little or no credit.

    ROTK. Obviously. :P

The best one. Anyone read the books? I have. All three of them.

Sam is one of my favourite characters. He's one of those few people in the LOTR that managed to fight the temptation of the One Ring. A feat very difficult indeed.

I watched all three extended editions today in one sitting with my friends. 11 and a half hours. Best time of my life.

lol, what a stupid yet great idea!

    *puts on LOTR fanatic*

Btw, Frodo dosent destroy the Ring. Technically, yes, he was given the role as the Ringbearer but it was really Gollum who was in possesion of the Ring before meeting his melting death.

In the book, Eomer wasn't with the Riders of Rohan during the siege of Helm's Deep. He was IN Helm's Deep, fighting along side Aragorn and co.

ROTK ROTK! =D =D =D These movies all rock hard, I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't seen them. Like Gharanth said, they should definately take up 9+ hours of their lives to see it! SoOoOoOo totally worth it!

Though I hate recalling what type of hype it caused around people, notably the Legolas fangirls *shudders* I guess it's different on the net since you can't "hear" their overwhemling, ear bleeding shrieks :/ Worse still you can't avoid it.

I'd say that The Two Towers was the best of them because the other two had some parts that were really slow, but all three were still all awesome! ;)
