Really? My British aunt tells me that American English is closer to Victorian English (what we would probably call "original") than British English.

 

Remind me of how America's history again?

 

We wanted a say in the processes that control our government, the King wouldn't give it to us, so we had a bit of a war, broke off, and then won the war. That's got nothing to do with language, though. My point is that British English is what changed, not American English. They re-Britishized a lot more things than we Americanized.

 

Wow.....you completely missed vital details in that history lesson, but okay. And my point is that America was founded by people from England...sort of...and so you could say we got English from the English.

 

Yes, and my point is that we changed the English that we got from the English less than the English changed the English that they gave us. In the end, we have the more "pure" version of the language.

 

So basically this is every other standard ecchi comedic anime but with pigtails and aliens?
