I loved Kampfer the one time I saw it. Should I rewatch it before watching this new thing?

 

If you ask me, Kampfer kind of annoys me since the last episode was aired in Japan's theaters and no where else, and the plot seemed a little unfinished.

Thinking on it though, the plot for this show isn't exactly much better....

 

I liked it mainly because of how absurd all the humor is. The plot did feel unfinished, but I think it was better that way. The unfinished-ness fit the humor that, looking back, consisted primarily of the characters being infuriatingly stereotypical. I do wish I could find a good translation of the books to continue the story, though.

 

I watched the first episode, but couldn't believe the extent of ridiculousness and couldn't keep going.

 

It's so ridiculous, I'm not even sure you could call the fight scenes "fights"

 

The fact that they are trying to 'protect the power of pigtails' and aliens came to remove pigtails from the planet was just too much.

 

i kept watching for the same reason. it was just so insane that i had to see where it went. halfway in i'm starting to lose interest, but i might as well stick with it.
