I think it's a bit silly that people bring up Terra trusting Maleficent as the reason for why he's stupid
There are FAR better examples than "He should have immediately assumed the first person he met was evil because she wore dark clothes"

There's a difference between rebelling against the old man and rebelling against the old man to listen to another old man who you've known less then the old man.

And I don't really see Aqua as a lapdog, she's a keyblade master, that means she's actually pretty wise. She has her concerns and Eraqus's concerns also align with hers, so naturally she obeys them. Worried about Terra? Go find Terra. Darkness sucks ass? Go tell Terra not to use it so much. And it's not like she's a COMPLETLE slave to him or anything. She still spends the game helping out a bunch of Disney characters from their predicaments because she's also a good person.

It's not that she's a "do no wrong" character or a mary sue, but more like a "gets **** done" character and I like that.

Birth By Sleep is the best Kingdom Hearts game as far as I see it becase

    1. It doesn't amount to MASH X. USE REFLEGA. PRESS TRIANGLE like Kingdom Hearts 2 did

    2. I personally think that the combat and ability system used in Birth By Sleep is as ideal as it get's. There's no be all and end all deck(atleast on Critical mode) and the game encourages you to switch it up by making new decks and given you access to an EXTREMELY large variety of abilities, more then in any other Kingdom Hearts game. Magic attacks, Physical attacks, Magic and Physical attacks, Weird ass **** like "Break Time", the game had a very large variety of moves and spells to use which that alone I believe makes the combat better then Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, CoM and DEFINITELY 300 and whatever days. DDD comes close but I found Flowmotion to be a little too overpowered.

As far as I see it...

    1.Birth By Sleep
    2.Dream Drop Distance
    3.Kingdom Hearts
    4.Chain of Memories
    5.Coded
    6.Kingdom Hearts 2
7.A homeless man taking dump on your face
    8.358/2 Days

Well yeah but it's just the most obvious one at the moment. I can mention why he didn't suspect that someone telling you to go into the woods and rip out a little girl's heart wouldn't be SOMEWHAT questionable until the very last moment but whatever.

    fine.
He should have immediately assumed the first person he met was evil because she wore dark clothes and had green skin.

Actually, that's what I did the whole time, with the occasional Curaga. :x

Deck commands were cool, but I felt that they were just ornaments. Sure, some attacks did greater damage, but even that became tediously pressing all the buttons rinse lather repeat. Some may say it may have deepened the combat experience, but I felt like the core of it was basically hack n' slash and so I stuck to that.

But we all have opinions. I can definitely see why BbS was popular in terms of quality presentation, as well as the actual effort the team put into it shows much compared to the other spin-offs.

aqua's story gets a lot more emotional when you accept that she is totally in love with terra through the whole thing and is conflicted because on one hand he's evil and on the other hand he's fine as hell

    suck on it alex

why did I even have a doubt you'd say that

Aqua's story is more emotional when you accept she is surrounded by two dudes that are basically infants and how she serves as both their overall rock and the main voice of reason.

Plus we all know she ain't got time to be smoochin ' when she's the Quuen B

Honestly speaking don't think i used Reflect in any of my playthroughs till i saw a youtube video of someone defeating Saix with it, and even then that was only the occasion, i enjoy the mash X aspect personally and the satisfaction of nailing a reaction command.

The combat was alright, but i didn't find the moves all that substantial, seemed to be, get best elemental card, spam it. It was enjoyable, but the rest of the game kind of dragged along to accommodate it.

You lost all credibility in your argument when you place Coded above KH2.

The point isn't how much you used it.
The point is there's virtually no reason whatsoever for you NOT to use it once you have it.
It takes off 40% of secret bosses health just from spamming it with no planning whatsoever. It's a stupidly balanced spell that breaks the game in an already incredibly easy game.
And I personally have no satisfaction from pressing the "Kill the enemy" button, I'd prefer if I just killed the enemy without the game going "Alright cool, let me play this cutscene that shows what you COULD have been doing"

Coded didn't have any moments where the game took control of the character for me therefore it is automatically better.

Was I the only person who actually started Birth By Sleep with Aqua's story?
And I don't see her at all as a lapdog when everything she did made sense (just about, if I recall.) That's like saying "OH THAT DUDE WHO'S GOING TO COLLEGE AND GETTING HIS DEGREE IS TOTALLY JUST A MINDLESS SLAVE BECAUSE HE'S DOING WHAT HIS PARENTS TOLD HIM TO DO"
Also, I don't think Terra's a complete idiot. His foil is that he wanted to try seeing how well he could do something he was good at, and he paid the price for not listening to the most trustworthy people he could have had at the time. It's something I've seen happen to quite a few people in life.

But i didn't use it, so we had different experiences in the game, that's why we have differing feelings on the matter. However, the argument that there is no reason not to use it is poor. You wouldn't use it because it's OP, which stops me from using a lot of moves in various games, i just use what's most satisfying which is combos and counters. And critically, the game does not force you to ever use it, like I didn't. I'd be more sympathetic if it did force you, but it doesn't. IT's a pretty minor thing to ruin your game, it's not like the game was crashing each time or there was a bug that made you invincible.

Reaction Commands are context sensitive actions that depend on a lot of factors, the reason primarily for their inclusion is because there aren't enough button combinations to reaction commands without making the game Street Fighter, and no one would've used them if they were that complex and it was dependent on you remembering it as well as what enemy it was specifically against. And you still have the option to just kill the enemies, it's not like the game forces you to use them, it promotes it, but you can get through every standard enemy without using them. A few Boss fights, but very rarely a requirement, more just a help in chipping down the boss' health.

Coded had nothing to take you away from, which unfortunately left you with the fact it was a re-rehash of KH1 distilled to little actual entertainment value. I would've preferred if it had been more cutscene heavy.

Terra quite literally just trusted the first person he saw, IIRC that happens a lot in KH. It just happens that ZackTerra ran into the bad guys first in just about every world, it seems.
