Looking forward to a Twilight Summer....

Destiny nodded and opened her notebook. She flipped through a few pages before coming to the one she was looking for. "Okay..." She said and grinned as she started to read what she'd written of her story so far.

“Kimiko, are you coming?â€

I snapped out of my daze and looked up, seeing my brother standing not to far ahead of me. “Y-Yeah!†I said and ran up to him, smiling. I haven’t seen my brother since he went of to college three years ago to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. Naturally, I was happy for him, but I had never realized how much I would miss him. After being gone so long, I was overjoyed to hear that he was coming home for a visit. Once he’d arrived, he said that he had a surprise for me and asked if I would go to the bus stop with him. Curiously, I went with him.

He smiled and gently put his arm around my shoulder, leading me onto the bus. “You’re going to love this place,†He said as we sat down together in the back of the bus. I shifted anxiously in my seat. I’d never been good at waiting for surprises, but today I wanted to do my best to be patient, so that my brother could see just how much I’d matured since I last saw him. Besides, he had told me that this place wasn’t too far away.

I looked up as I suddenly felt my brother’s hand leave my shoulder. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, black cloth. A grin spread across his face. “You’ll have to wear this blindfold until we get there,†He said. “Or else you’ll know where we’re headed.†We both laughed. He gently covered my eyes with the blindfold and secured it tightly around my head. I stared into the black cloth, unable to see anything around me.

We rode silently for about fifteen minutes before the bus suddenly jerked to a stop. I let out a small yell as I almost fell out of my seat. Soon, I heard a “whoosh†as the bus doors opened. A wave of silence suddenly swept over the bus as heavy footsteps entered through the opened door. “Everybody stay in your seats and don’t move!†I heard the stranger’s voice call. “Brother, what’s happening?†I asked worriedly. I could feel him put his arm around my shoulder and pull me closer to him. “Kimiko, I want you to just stay silent, alright? And don’t take off the blindfold.†I started to become worried, but I simply did as my brother had instructed.

The entire bus remained silent as heavy footsteps walked down the aisle. My brother squeezed my shoulder comfortingly. I heard the footsteps get louder as the stranger came closer, and they suddenly stopped when he was about right in front of us. “You there! Take off that blindfold!†He said sternly. I froze as I realized he was talking to me. However, I didn’t take off the blindfold, as my brother had told me not to, but I felt a hand gently reach up to my face and tried to regain my vision as my brother removed the black cloth.

I rubbed my eyes and saw a man in a black suit standing in front of me, pointing a gun at me. My eyes widened in fear and I clung onto my brother, frightened. What was going on?! And what did this man want? I looked up at my brother to see that he wasn’t scared at all. “Stand up!†The man demanded, looking at my brother. He stayed where he was. “I said stand up!†He shouted again, and I jumped at the sound of his voice. However, my brother refused to stand up. “I will not leave my sister’s side,†My brother said, holding me close to him.

The man chuckled. “Aww, How cute…†He said and grinned, pointing the gun at my brother. “That was the wrong answer, though!†My brother suddenly took his arm from around me and pushed me away. I knew what was going to happen next. “No!†I cried in distress as a gunshot went off. I had fallen on the floor and my eyes widened as I watched my brother fall, shot directly in the heart. Tears stung my eyes. “N-Niisama!†I shouted and got up from the ground, running over to him, but the stranger knocked me away and I fell, hitting my head hard on the floor. “N-Niisaa…†I said quietly. A tear ran down my cheek as I soon lost consciousness.


"That's all I've written of it so far..." Destiny said and smiled.

 

"Hmmm...." Kiburedo closed his eyes and bit his thumb. There was a serious look on his face for a few seconds. After a short pause, he turned over on his side and looked at Destiny with his usualy smile. "You should definately write more!" He said with a thumbs up.

 

Destiny smiled. "Really? You liked it?" She asked, happily. She hadn't shown anybody that story before, so she'd had a few doubts about it.

 

"You've got some serious talent. Make sure to let me know anytime you right more, kay?" Kiburedo asked with a smile. "They way you write makes me want to read more."

 

Destiny nodded happily. "Okay!" She said and smiled. She closed the notebook and yawned. I wonder what time we're leaving... She thought.

 

Kiburedo looked at the clock. "Man... it's still pretty early... " Kiburedo got up and stretched. "Funny, I usually never get up this early. I'm Used to sleeping in..." He sat back down. "I hope everyone wakes up soon..."

 

Destiny laid down on the couch and looked at the ceiling. "Me, too..." She said.

 

OOC: Things sure are dull at night... All i'm doing is RPing with you and working on a linerider track at the same time ._.

Kiburedo sat up and let out a heavy sigh. "This is boring... Something exciting needs to happen..." He said

 

OOC- well, sadly, it's already morning here, so I think I'm going to log off, now... XP

Destiny soon ended up falling asleep on the couch.

Kiburedo soon dozed off next to her.

Destiny hugged the notebook tightly as she slept, a smile on her face.

Trace soon began to feel thirsty again and got out a glass and put nice cool water in it.he walked over to the livingroom and tripped,spilling water all over destiny

OOC- aww... :( I'm probably not gonna be here most of today ><

Destiny screamed and sat up, startled by the cool water that was suddenly spilled on her. However, sitting up so fast only made her fall off the couch. "Ow!"

 

ooc:i know,it sucks.....oh well,that will hopefully be my last vacation for a while

Trace got up and ran to destiny with a dry cloth,"I'm so sorry Destiny,here is a towel."he said,handing her the cloth and helping her up,"are you okay?"he asked

 

Destiny took the towel gratefully. "Thanks..." She said and stood up. "I'm okay. Just a little... wet." She giggled and flicked some water at Trace playfully.

 

Trace got drops of water on his face and looked up,"Is it raining in here?"he said sticking his hand out to see if more would fall.He always liked to joke around.

 

Destiny giggled and dried off her face and hair as best she could. I should probably change clothes... She thought and glanced towards the staircase. But what if there's another spider in my room?

 

Trace saw Destiny look towards the staircase,"Do you still think there are spiders in there,if there are ill gladly assist you on getting them out."he said to Destiny,smiling

 

Destiny looked at trace and smiled. "Thanks..." She said and looked back at the staircase. "I'm going to go change into dry clothes... I'll be right back!" She said to Trace and smiled, running up the stairs. She held the notebook tightly in her hands as she headed to her room. We did spray bug killer this month, so there shouldn't be any more spiders... I'm just being silly...
