Looking forward to a Twilight Summer....

Kiburedo chuckled a little. "This reminds me of the time you fell out of the tree... and when you fell from the swing.... and when you were walking on the fence and lost your balance... well you get the point. You're lucky I was there to help you up." He helped her to her feet. "Shall we be one our way?" He asked.

 

Destiny sweatdropped when she heard all of the times she'd fallen down. I really fell down that much? She thought and laughed. "Yeah..." She said and grinned. She turned around again and started to run downstairs. She giggled when she got to the bottom. Even though she was almost as old as everyone else in the family, she still acted alot like a little kid.

 

Trace started to grill some onions and stir the eggs,he made his omlette first because he likes to eat a lot,but then he burnt his finger,"OW!"he yelled out,holding his finger

 

Kiburedo fallowed Destiny down the steps in a more dignified manner this time, with one hand on the rail and the other in his pocket. "Yo Trace! What's cooking?" As he got to the bottom, he ruffled Destiny's hair a bit before taking a seat on the couch. "I'm glad you're cooking. Your meals are always pretty good." He said as he grabbed the remote. He pressed a button, and the TV Turned on with a click. "You ok?" He called out after hearing Trace's yell.

 

Destiny giggled when Kiburedo ruffled her hair and then she ran off to the kitchen. "Need any help?" She asked Trace, and then noticed what had happened. "Uh-oh... Are you okay?" She asked, concerned.

 

Trace put his finger in cool water,"yeah,im okay,i just need to be a little less......clumsy."said trace,getting back to the omlette."anyone want grilled onions with their omlette?"

Kiburedo looked in the bowl in the middle of the coffee table. "One left huh..?" He reached into the bowl and pulled out a single pepper mint. He threw it into the air with a single hand and cought it swiftly. "I'll save it for Destiny." He said as he put it in his pocket. Even though she was almost as old as him now, he still treated Destiny like a kid. It was probably because he always looked out for her when they were children, and he never got out of the habbit. "None for me Trace." Kiburedo called back.

Destiny shook her head. "None for me, either..." She said and smiled.

 

"That leaves more for me then."said Trace smiling,then finishing making his omlette,moving on to Kiburedo's and Destiny's

 

Kiburedo got off the couch and walked into the kitchen. "Present." He said as he tossed the peppermint to Destiny. He opened the fridge and got out a carton of orange juice. He then got three cups from the cabinet, and started to pour the juice into them.

 

Trace finished all the omlettes and set them on the table,he then got some silverware and set it up."Food's Ready!"exclaimed Trace,looking at the overlystuffed omlette that he knows he will love

 

Destiny caught the peppermint, almost dropping it in surprise, when Kiburedo tossed it to her. "Thanks!" She said and smiled putting it in her pocket. Destiny tilted her head. "Is everyone else going to wake up and come eat, too?" She asked.

 

"Well you know what they say. You snooze you lose." Kiburedo sat down at the table. "Thanks for the meal!" He said before grabbing his fork and taking a bite out of the omelette. "Not bad!" He said with his mouth full.

 

"I'm too hungry to care if they come or not."said Trace,hearing his stomach roar with hunger,"I havent eaten since 7 hours ago!"He exclaimed,grabbing a fork and taking a huge bite

 

Destiny giggled and sat down at the table with them. "Thanks, Trace!" She said and smiled before she started eating. "It's really good!" She said after she had swallowed. "You always make the best food, Trace!" She grinned and kept eating her breakfast.

 

Kiburedo took the last bite of his omelette and leaned back in his chair. He sighed and closed his eyes. "A good meal always makes me sleepy..." He said as he slouched some more in his chair.

 

"Thank you Destiny!and also you Kiburedo!"said trace,eating his omlette,enjoying it to its fullest

 

Destiny continued to eat until she was done. Then she took a drink of her orange jusice and yawned, which just made her giggle. "I guess that's something we have in common," She said sarcastically, as she knew that she was mostly tired because she'd stayed up late writing last night.

 

Trace finished eating and drank some orange juice,then went to get a cookie out of the jar,placed it on a napkin,and took the entire jar

 

"I know you were up late last night... Time which you should've spent packing... but oh well. I suppose you can sleep on the plane. Although, I suspect we have sometime before the others wake up. If you're that tired you can take a nap." Kiburedo said before finishing the rest of his Orange Juice.
