Looking forward to a Twilight Summer....

"We leave whenever Last says we do... I really don't know exactly when We're going. You should ask Last that." He replied.

 

"I'll just ask him later then" He told him as he layed back on the couch.

 

'Well.....that's probably going to get some up......or they just won't care and we'll have to wait some more. So....who's up for a lesson and game on Capitalism?"

 

Destiny walked over to Fire. "Capitalism? What's that?" She asked and tilted her head curiously. She walked over and sat down on the couch.

 

Sorry for taking so long. I'm watching episodes of Avatar....:D

BIC- "YAY! Okay....so....Capitalism is a card game. It's pretty fun and I think up to 5 people can play. I can show you how but I need cards." Fire said immaturely at first but then shifting to serious mode.

 

"Hmm... i think I have some in my room... Be right back!" Destiny said and quickly ran up the stairs. She went into her room and searched around, before finally finding them in the desk drawer. She grabbed them and quickly ran downstairs. In the hallway, she tripped, but simply giggled and stood back up again, running downstairs. "Will these work?" She asked Fire and showed her the deck of cards.

"WOOOHOOOO! Okay....so...I don't know how to deal so yeah...this is going to be a bit slower than 3 minutes." Fire took the deck and searched for the jokers to take out then was about to deal. "Hmm....I need a third person just to show you how it normally should be because Capitalism isn't normally played with only 2 people. The reason being is that whoever wins has a title. Such as...if Kiburedo were playing, and he won, he'd be President. And then if you won 2nd, you'd be Vice President, and then if Last were playing and he won 3rd, he'd be scum, and then since I "lost", I'd be super scum. Then in the next game super scum gives the persident their two best cards and scum gives the vice president their one best card. But that's jsut tiles and stuff. So...basically...how you play is simply like a hierarchy. We begin with the 3 of clubs. Then it goes around with people adding maybe 4s, 5s, 6, Jacks, etc. Anything higher than the 3. and in numerical order 3 is the lowest going higher to 10 and then it goes from a Jack being higher than a 10 to a queen and a King being higher than the Jack and Queen. Aces are the highest of all and 2s clear the board. Which would technically mean it's the strongest of all. Following so far?"

 

Destiny listened carefully as Fire explained. "Hmm... I think I get it so far..." She said and smiled.

OOC- omg i know I've played this somewhere before... i can't... remember... argh... ><

 

Yeah....we got stranded at the airport once because of this freakish snowstorm before so we just played Capitalism the whole time. It was awesome.

BIC- "Okay....cool. Now...some people like to play something called "Complete the Square". Now I don't quite get it, but somehow it works like....oh...before I get to that...say...uh...after Last supposedly plays a 4....and then since you're before me, you play a 4 as well...that skips my turn. So yeah....but...anyway..Completing the square works like, if 3 people play 3 of the same number or thing, such as Last playing a 4 and then you playing a 4 and then Kib playing a 4, and then Last has another 4 or if you ahve another 4, you can play it out of turn completing the square....or...well...completing the four 4s and the board clears. Also, if you play your last card, and it's a 2, you're automatically super scum. And the objective of the game is to lose your cards. Til you're out. Also. if you play your last card and you're out, the board clears as well. The board also clears if no one can play higher than your card. you can also choose to pass your turn if you ahve no higher cards. So....think you're ready to play?"

"Hmm..." Destiny thought it over and tried remembering all of the rules. "Yup, I think I understand it!" She said and grinned.

 

"Sweet....okay....now....to find a 3rd person......>_>.."

 

ooc:um...where is everybody in the story currently?

 

Destiny and I are going to play a card game but we need a third person. Kib is....somewhere around....Last is waiting for more people to wake up so he can put their luggage in his car. And Random is around somewhere. Knightshade may be snoozing....

Trace put his luggage in the car and came back inside,he saw fire and destiny together and went over,"Watcha guys doing?"he asked

Fire dealed out the cards and then pikced up her share.

Freaking tree......these are terrible cards.....oh well....have to make the best of it...

"Um...never heard of it....can you explain?"asked trace,confusedly.he doesnt know many card games

 

Okay...so....who has a 3 of clubs?......I'll explain while we play.....but we need a 3 of clubs to start.....

 

Destiny looked at her cards. "Oh, I have one... But aren't we not suppossed to say what cards we have?" She asked.

 

True but the person who has the 3 of clubs starts and then everything from there....no talk is necessary. Okay....so....uh...now it's my turn and I put down anything that higher than that 3, okay Trace? Okay...uh...let's see....

Fire puts down a 4 of diamonds.

Now it's your go....and you put down anything higher than the 4, or a 4....which..of course would be bad news for Destiny.

 

*Knightshade let out a sigh as he slowly got into a sitting position on the couch and watched the card game progress*
