Looking forward to a Twilight Summer....

Things at the Twilight Family’s house has been rather quiet….well at least since their last trip to New York City for Christmas. But of course time has passed…spring has come and gone….and finally summer has hit the shore. Now the Twilight Family has been waiting for summer to hit for sometime now…its time they took another trip as a family and enjoyed themselves…but where? What will they do? Well….there’s only one thing to do when summer hits…and that’s hit the beach…but not just any beach….none other than the sandy shores of Florida!

Characters: (This is a rp for members of the Twilight Family, but however if you are not one don’t fret, just stop by the family thread and join up then come join us at the beach. All members of the family are suggested to use their usernames unless they have a nickname they wish to use otherwise. )

Rules: (Yes regardless I am placing rules in this thread like any other, but I doubt there will be problems.)
1. Swearing, cursing, cussing - it’s a common part of some peoples life’s but to others not so much, so I would request if you wish to curse a lot please use *’s to censor the word completely or partially. If you use a word once and a while that’s ok but please don’t turn this into a swearing contest.
2. Killing, Violence, Inappropriate conduct - This is a real life thread, we are a family, I really don’t see any reason why there should be much violence or killing involved with a family going to the beach. If there is a fight or something of the sort involved in the story, its your call, but if someone or myself thinks your going too far please respect their wishes and tone it down.
3. Have fun. - How long has it been since we actually had a Twilight Thread be made? Forever? Ok ok…maybe a few months…but still it seems like a longer time than that. Have fun, a bunch of us have been gone for sometime from the family and haven’t seen each other in that time, so now’s the time to catch up on the family thread and on this thread (on this thread in it, not too many ooc’s please).

We find the Twilight Family busy at work at their house trying to finish packing, get everyone together, and finally head to the airport to head to their destination…..Paradise City.

 

I'll be joining of course. It's not a real RP without me.

OOC: Hmm...I guess we could....not too many people on right now...but if you would like to you have my permission...

BIC: Loto was sitting on the couch flipping through the newspaper, he had his cafe mocha in one hand, and was holding the paper with his other, "hmm....nothing interesting....." he sighed setting it down on the table and taking a sip of his mocha. He turned around and turned on some techno on the stereo and closed his eyes leaning back.

 

OOC- Yay! ^^

Destiny was in her room lying on her bed. She smiled and hummed a small, soft tune as she scribbled a few words down in a notebook that lay in front of her. Her pencil moved quickly across the page as ideas flashed through her mind. I'll just finish this chapter of my story... And then I should probably finish packing... She thought as she continued to write.

 

Kiburedo gently knocked on Destiny's room. "Aren't you done packing yet? You better not be taking alot of stuff 'cuz I'm not gonna carry it for you.... Last things we need is extra weight to haul around." Kiburedo said as he leaned against the wall in the hallway and bit off a peice of his toast.

 

Loto reached in his pocket and took out the plane tickets, "lets see here...we have one for everyone going good...." he said putting them back and looking at his cellphone, "couple hours left....hope everyone is packed....." he said taking another sip of his mocha. He got up from the couch and walked outside onto the porch, "little bright today....although I guess I should probably be getting used to it.....got a whole week in Florida...I doubt it will be cloudy too much...." he grinned.

 

Hearing a familiar voice, Destiny smiled. "Almost!" She shouted. "Don't worry, I'm not bringing that much!" And that was the truth. Destiny looked over to her suitcase. She'd already packed her clothes, and now all she needed to pack was her necessities like a toothbrush and a hairbrush. That, and her writing supplies. I'm going to make sure I write some really good poems... She thought and closed her notebook. Getting up from the bed, she walked over to the door and opened it. "Am i the only one not packed yet?" She asked, worriedly.

 

"I don't know... It seems like everyone's still asleep. But I think they packed overnight. Anyway, I'll be waiting downstairs. When you're ready give your suitcase to me and I'll go put it in Last's car." Kiburedo ran to the end of the hallway and jumped down the stairs. "Hya hoo!!" He yelled enthusiastically before landing on the ground. "This is gonna be great!" He said with a smile.

 

"Oh, okay..." Destiny said and smiled. "Well I'll be done in a second!" she quickly went back into her room and looked for the rest of the items she needed. Hairbrush... I got that. I might need a few hairties... But I made sure to get those. Hmm... Oh! Destiny remembered that she needed to pack her toothbrush and went down to the bathroom. After getting her toothbrush and toothpaste, she went back to her room and packed them in her suitcase. Next, she gathered a bow of pencils, a pen, an eraser, and a pencil sharpener so that she could write during the trip. She then put them in her suitcase. Having gathered everything she needed for the trip, Destiny looked around to make sure that nobody was around. She then walked over to her bed and reached under it, pulling out a small, blue, stuffed dog. She hugged the dog tightly. I hope they don't find out I still have this thing... I know for sure they'd make fun of me... She thought.

 

Last finished up his cafe mocha, "ah...thats it? I think I need to get myself a bigger mug...." he sighed walking back inside, he entered the kitchen and rinsed out the mug, "there we go..." he said putting it up in the dishwasher. He walked back out to the living room and sat back down on the couch, "nothing like a little techno before heading out...." he said turning the stereo jump just a little bit louder.

 

Kiburedo covered his ears. "Seriously.... how can you guys listen to that stuff...?" He gave a soft sigh and headed up stairs. "Are you done yet Destiny?" He scratched the back of his head. "It's boring with everyone asleep. Let's play a game or something!" Kiburedo chuckled. He remembered the games that they used to play when they were younger. "Those were the days..." He said to himself softly.

 

Destiny smiled when she heard the techno music downstairs. Well I know who's awake... She thought to herself and giggled. When she saw Kiburedo suddenly come upstairs, she gasped and tried to hide the stuffed animal behind her back. "Almost!" She said nervously. At the mention of playing a game, she couldn't help but smile. Yeah... It's been a while since we've done that...

 

OOC: This will probably be my last post for the night.

BIC: Last looked around and laid his head back down on the couch, "I didn't hear anyone else complaining about my music...yet...." he said remember Fire, "oh no...." he said rubbing his forehead, "well then it sounds like not too many people will be wanting to ride in my car....." he grinned and shook his head.

 

Kiburedo Looked at Destiny with a puzzled look on his face. "Say... What's that you've got there?" He asked as he walked towards her. She seemed to have something behind her back.
