Wow <_< Now if this is true, I wonder what Xbox360 owners would get in retaliation. Masterchief? xD

 

Kratos does fit quite well into the idea of Soul Calibur and his fighting style would be interesting against someone like Maxi or Rapheal, but it doesn't look like he's in it, and Xbox would probibly get someone who wouldn't fit in like what you said Mastercheif XD

 

PS3 gets all the good characters.

First, they get Darth Vader, while 360 gets stuck with ****** Yoda. And now they [might] get Kratos too. XD

When I first read the title I thought it was talking about Kratos Aurion from Tales of Symphonia. I was proven wrong. If I had a 360 or a PS3, I'd rather get the 360 version since it has Yoda.

 

I wouldn't expect this to work out. EGM had this in the rumor mill section. A lot of the stuff there doesn't exactly pan out. I'm always wrong though...

 

If this is true, I'm starting to lean towards the PS3 version.

it's a little sad because then they will have to make him sigificantly weaker than he actually is...

I would love to see kratos in there, whipping around those blades. but if you think about it, wouldnt he be rather cheap?

 

No. Lightsabers that can cut through almost anything is cheap, but obviously they dont make it work that way in the game or else it'd be one sided.

Kratos is one of those characters like Dante and the Prince that would fit in perfectly but I need to address a few idiocracies that come with this rumor.

1. To all the Yoda hate... Did ANYONE watch Episode 2? Episode 3? Really? Not one of you remembers the epic fights of yoda in those two movies and how legendary he was and how he is the greatest and most powerful jedi to ever live? You all forgot that part? Kk well it happened. Both characters are great and quite different. Yoda will be a speed fighter while Vader will be a heavy hitter. It's all about your preference.

2. "Kratos may be joining the line-up of souls in Namco Bandai's newest weapons-based fighter"

and..

"Sure, it's a rumor, but that "expect confirmation soon" and a hint about Xbox 360 owners getting their own platform-specific fighter"

RUMOR. MAY BE. As in, untrue as of yet. Expect confirmation soon doesn't mean Namco said they'll confirm it soon. It means 1UP wants attention and is hoping at E3 Namco will address the rumor made by none other than 1UP.

3. Us 360 owners would probably get Ryu Hayabusa, and he'd just as badass... gotta love the "M@$TUR CHEF IS TEH ONLEE X-CUBE CHAR DAT SUX 4 DEM"

Now in celebration of this victory post that will get a response of being a fanboy or just 'ur n idiot,' I'm going to chug a Livewire.
