Linkin Park - New Divide

I expect a lot of flaming for making this, but I honestly don't care. I enjoyed their new single, which is also going to debut in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

I'm glad they're going back to their Meteora sound. Minutes to Midnight was alright, but I missed their old style. Hope the rest of their next album will be as good as this song.

 

I liked Minutes to Midnight, I loved the change in style.
But their old style triumps any day.

Oooooh, this song does sound very good. I'll definitely get it when I get my iTunes account. I loved LP's older stuff, it had a lot more 'noise' in the songs if you know what I mean.

I used to love LP, but Minutes completely destroyed them.

Yeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaah I'm going to have to stick with my initial thought, I'm not really feeling it to be honest.

It's alright, but nothing AMAZING.

It would be nice if they could return to being the LP I used to love, I guess I'll be patient.

 

Pretty sure that's how every old-school fan feels. Least, that's how I do.

Minutes to Midnight proved they could do regular rock and pop. It also proved that they shouldn't.

 

I don't care how they sound, I'll always love their music. That is not to say if they sounded like country I would listen to them (since I dislike country a little), but as long as they remain a rock group and make music, I'm with them.

Even if it isn't their old sound, they are still very talented. I don't know why anyone would complain about a change in style. If they liked the band they wouldn't complain. It's still good. -shrugs-

But, it's a song, like Jerome said... so... you can listen to it... if you want.

 

I personally love this song. May be my favorite from LP in a while. :\

This song sounds exactly like What I've Done, which was in the last Transformer movie...I hope if they release a new album it won't sound too similar to Minutes to Midnight.

 

Considering that was the best song on their last album, I wouldn't complain. Let's just hope it stays at least this good.

This is one of my favorite Linkin Park songs. This is pure gold.

 

My brother just came back from the Transformers movie and has been humming this song all day. I like this song nonetheless.

 

I liked their older stuff, like Metorea. But the newer stuff makes me feel like a stereotypical emo in the making.
So I liked it when they were a mix of Rap and Alternititive.
...Did I spell that right? :L
