Mike Shinoda just confirmed it off of facebook and myspace. First comes the single "Catalyst" on August 2nd and then on Spetember 14th comes their Album "A Thousand Suns". They are even starting a competition for people to get their own music on A Thousand Suns!!! Well if thats the way you feel then why make a comment like that? Thats a pointless comment to make. I mean if you phrased it differently like "I dislike linkin park because of "this" and "this" " that would've been atleast some bit of a comment.
Different people have different opinions. I, for one, am looking forward to this. I love Linkin Park. As opposed to most people, I actually liked Minutes to Midnight, but I'm glad to hear that A Thousand Suns will have more of a "thread of consistency" than MtM.
Really old news. I really thought there was a topic about this last year. Eh. I used to be a really big fan of Linkin Park but...they haven't shown anything technically amazing. Their guitarist and bassist are average at best, same with their drummer and singer(s). Still, LP is more about a mix of sounds than anything. I only liked three songs from the last album so I'm hoping this one is better.
I might listen to it. Honestly, I don't thin they're as good as they used to be. I used to somewhat enjoy their first 2 albums, but Minutes to Midnight made me start to dislike them. I can't stand them anymore as of last year, but who knows, maybe their new album might be decent. I just can't stand the way they mix their music.

I... Like it actually, I think the beat, lyrics and the way it's sung is a pretty good combo. I'm actually looking forward for the album to release.
What the hell was that? That was worse than anything I would have expected. Its so bad I can't help but find it hilarious! Its great how it can't decide if it wants to be electronic, industrial or rock. That's probably the worst blend of those genres I've ever heard.
I've known about the album for about a month now, I haven't heard the Catalyst yet because my internet is slow, but I can't wait to listen to it. I like Linkin Park and I'll probably be buying the new album.
