Limitless Wandering

Serifina's eyes snapped open, "No, you will not get the chance." she said, clearly, to answer what he hadn't asked them. "Akio, watch out for his gun shot." she called, not moving and getting ready to pull up an air sheild if he fired.

 

"No duh..." Aiko retorted.

Haratsu jumped a few yards in front of them. "Come with me...make a wrong move and I shoot." Haratsu shot a bullet into the sky. "And I must warn you...I have precise aiming..." Haratsu laughed.

"Wow....I never knew he was this....this..trigger-happy maniac..." Aiko sighed.

 

Serifina blasted air at the bullet he had shot in the air and it flew just past his ear. She looked at him with steely eyes, "You shoot and I'll bounce them back at you, and they will hit you. Do you even want to know what Akio will do?"

 

"Would I want to know??" Haratsu laughed. 'Oh crap......things couldn't have gotten any worse....woops...speak of the devil,I forgot....I only have about 20 bullets left....'

Aiko read his thoughts. 'HAH! He ran out of bullets...hahaha....this'll be a piece of cake.' Aiko whispered to Serifina,"He has about 20 bullets...I wonder what he'll do after he runs out."

 

Serifina shot Akio a smile, "If he uses them, they'll end up in his head." she whispered back. Raising her voice she looked back at him. "So, what will you do now? Die? Or what?"

 

'Now what...I'm cornered...' Haratsu thought to himself. Haratsu shot 2 bullets, one aimed for Aiko and one aimed for Serifina.

Aiko dodged it effortlessly. 'This is a waste of time...I should really be taking a hot bath in a hotel somewhere....' Aiko thought glumly.

 

A almost sad expression flashed across Serifina's face but the next moment she raised a blast of air to knock the bullet back at him, just as she had said she would. It flew at his chest and hit squarely. She bit her lip. I know I was going to kill him earlier, but maybe I really wasn't going to. I can't believe how hard it is to do something like that. I'm even hoping he won't die for the gods sake, what's wrong with me?

 

Aiko just stared at the bullet. A stem appeared and reflected the bullet back at him with twice the speed.

Haratsu barely dodged it. It almost hit him. 'Those stupid things.........where is Sartre when I need him??'?
Haratsu put back his pistols and took out a double-barreled shotgun. "Try dodging these!" Haratsu shouted as he shot 2 shells.

Aiko sighed as another stem blocked all the little pellets of the shotgun.

 

Serifina's thought was cut off and the coldness she had in her eyes returned. She blasted air at him again, this time shooting the bullet at him but also pushing him backwards into a tree. "Dodge it yoursef."

 

Haratsu dodged the bullets. 'Crap......they are hardly breaking up a sweat.....I'll see if i can call him....' Haratsu tried calling Sartre using his own mind, 'Sartre...get your a** over here and help me!!'

'Jeez....can't a guy get some rest over here??'

'NO!!'

'Coming.....coming....'

Haratsu put back his shotgun, when a man about age 20 appeared behind Haratsu.

"What do you want?" , the man asked Haratsu.

"Oh great...more company." Aiko retorted.

"I need help....what else does it look like.....?"

"You never could complete mission can you? You always needed help of some sort." The man sighed.

 

Seifina glared at the new comer, "You want us to kick your a** too?" she asked sharply. Huh, who's this? He looks... oddly familar...

 

Aiko looked at Serifina and laughed. She then took out her sword. She saw Haratsu mutter something to the dude. Toshiro began cawing loudly. 'What's wrong with him??' Aiko asked uncertain. Toshiro began cawing loudly nonstop. "Toshiro......what's wrong......"

Sartre grinned.

Aiko saw the grin and yelled, "What did you do to him!!!!??"

Sartre replied calmly, "You 'll soon find out..."

Aiko ran towards Sartre, intending of piercing his head with her sword.

Haratsu said,"You take care of the girl with the temper issues, and I'll take care of the other one.

 

Serifina shook her head, still a bit thrown off by the Sartre. "I think you have it all turned around. I believe I will be taking care of you." She opened her palm and light shot out, directed at his face. This is weird, it's messing with my head.

 

Sartre grinned. "It doesn't matter who...I will be the one who will be laughing at the end..."

Aiko dodged the light ray. Toshiro's cawing turned to screams. He sounded like a wounded bird, though there weren't any wounds in his body.

Sartre seemed to be enjoying the sight.

'I'll kill Haratsu first...then I'll go for the dude.' Aiko leaped toward Haratsu, sword in hand.

Haratsu saw Aiko and started to run."'Why me?? Sartre has your bird in pain.....kill him first..." Haratsu yelled.

"Because I don't like you...."

"That's not a reasonable answer....."

"Who gives a damn...." Aiko's sword struck Haratsu's arm.

Bleeding, Haratsu turned around and grabbed for his pistol and shot before Aiko had any time to react. The bullet went through her shoulder.

"SON OF A-" Aiko swore and began chanting. Fire streaks surrounded Haratsu.

"Oh crap....."

 

Serfina ignored them fighting and concentated on Sartre. "So, looks like I'm stuck fighting you." She said, calmly whipping her sword at him and pushing some of her light along the edge of the blade.

 

"I'll try not to kill you...so make this interesting." Sartre demanded. He took out a scroll and slammed it on the ground. He then chanted. "Nevermind..I'll just kill you know." Sartre said as dead people rose up from the ground. "The 'dead' army should be a handful...if not..then I'll use other scrolls." Sartre stood back and watched.

Aiko chanted something and the fire turned green, then orange, then blue, and finally white. 'White fire is the strongest of all flames...it should turn him to ashes in a matter of minutes....'

"Haratsu gasped as the flames turned white. 'Oh well...I'm screwed now...." He muttered.

 

Serfina wanted to scream, for some reason the dead people just freaked her out to much. But she calmed herself down slightly and tried to ignore them, aiming for him. "Don't use the dead... it is beyond wrong." she said hoarsely, shooting a mix of light and space at him. She kicked out at the dead surrounding her giving herself a little room.

 

Sartre laughed."I can use what I want...you have no command over what I do." One of the dead men grabbed Serifina's neck and tried to suffocate her. Another one held a sword in his hand and attempted to plunge the sword in her body.

Aiko was still in a rage. She could still hear Toshiro screaming. 'Toshiro what's wrong...tell me..' There was no answer. Aiko clenched her fists in anger.

Haratsu began thinking of how to get out of the flames.

 

Serfina gasped for breath but dodged her body so that the sword went into the corpse holding her neck. Consentrating she pushed off the dead person's chest and escaped his grasp. "Who are you anyway?" she asked, shrilly, dodging the corpes's attakes and lashing out with her sword at Sartre.

 

"True,I haven't introduced myself. I am Sartre Vierasre. I am from a noble family in Irisacytla. That is all you need to know......if you be more polite, I'll tell the men to kill you swiftly and painlessly." Sartre grinned with pleasure.

Aiko nearly forgot about Sartre and Serifina. She turned around and saw Sartre, and Serifina battling the dead. "What the-?" Aiko gasped at the men. 'Do you need any help??' She asked Serifina, mentally.

Haratsu began chanting something. Within seconds,he was out of the fiery blaze, and into the cool and lush trees in the forest. He was far away from the battle. "Where am I???" Haratsu asked himself.
