Serifina looked from one to the other, "What is it?" she asked Toshiro.

 

Aiko looked at Toshiro with anger in her eyes.

Toshiro looked at Serifina and shook his head wildly.

 

Serifina looked at them both, her eyes turning cold. "Well, what is it? I'm right here."

 

Aiko's eyes turned blood-red. "When the time is right...you'll know. But for now..you must not know anything..on pain of death. " Aiko then turned toward Toshiro and talked to him.

Toshiro nodded his head glumly.

 

Serifina frowned at them. "Whatever, I suppose I don't want to die." she looked around. "So what are we doing now?"

 

Aiko looked at Serifina. Her eyes back to normal. "I'm tryiing to locate a screaming I heard..it was in that direction." Aiko pointed South. "I think it must have been a person wounded or maybe an attack. You coming or are you staying.....you're low on energy"

 

"I'll deal with it. I'm coming." Serifina looked at Toshiro, "Are you coming?"

 

Toshiro nodded.

Aiko then started running towards the sound.

 

Serifina took off after her, "This should be interesting."

 

Aiko, Serifina and Toshiro reached a town in a few minutes.

"Ummm...this is a t-town?" Aiko looked at the deserted village. "Looks more like a ghost town..."

 

Serifina used some of her enegery to feel around the towns air, "No, there's someone here, I just can't tell who or where... odd..."

 

Aiko sent out Toshiro to look for her. Toshiro flew away. "Toshiro will check the area...loking for survivors, enemies, etc. All we need to do now is wait."

 

Serifina nodded, "Waiting is easy." she said, still feeling the air. "Something is strange about this place, I can feel it, but I don't know what it is..."

 

Aiko nodded, feeling uneasy. Aiko shuddered. "I have n-never been this f-frightened in my life..what's wrong with this town?" Aiko asked Serifina," Can't you produce some sort of Aura that can find any evil entities or spirits?"

 

"Not exactly, but if something out there is evil, it won't like light, right?" Serifina closed her eyes and held her hands together. A burst of light emenated from her, covering the whole town for a moment. She opened her eyes with a snap. "Something changed. I can't tell how. Gah! this is so annoying. I can always tell where something is or how it is moving by the air but I can't tell anything here!"

 

"So I was right. When I stepped into this territory..I sensed something....something evil...about this place. What I don't understand is that why the town's been abandoned." Aiko said with a puzzled look. Something rumbled in the distance, a roar was heard, then a shriek...then silence. "What was that?" Aiko asked.

 

Serifina looked at Akio, "How should I know?" she asked, incredulously,"Okay, how long will he take? I didn't like that sound, I want to go find what it is."

 

Aiko shrugged. "I'll call him." Aiko whistled a shrill call to the phoenix. No response. "I think we better find out what that was..I have a bad feeling it's Toshiro." Aiko started running after the sound. Aiko had a worried look on her face. Aiko's pace started to go even faster. 'Toshiro...no..if...if..if I'm too late...noo.' Tears were about to spring into her eyes, but the stopped them.

 

Serifina followed her, keeping pace. "Don't worry. Whatever it is, we'll handle it." she said, trying to be reasuring.

 

Aiko nodded. Aiko was now running at full speed. Minutes later they reached something hge that seemed to have with many heads. A closer look, Aiko found out that it was a huge dragon's body with over 50 dragon heads. Circling frantically over the heads was Toshiro in full panic. "TOSHIRO!" Aiko shouted and drew her sword. She slid her hand over the sword, making a slit in her hand. The blood ran down the sword into a hole in the sword's hilt. The sword started glowing red. Aiko then held the sword and started running towards the dragon, slicing through heads and necks, dodging fire streams and acid sprays.
