Kingdom Hearts II Limitform

I just got KH2FM+ and I just got limit form. Stinks that I can't read Jap. yet, anyway does any1 know how to level up Limitform?????

 

You have to use limits.
So abuse limits I guess lol.

 

I thought so, but when I did and checked 4 exp. there wasn't any

 

Lvl it at the end, buy tons of ether and abuse it. That what i did. You don't have to kill monsters to lvl it up

 

I don't think it's completing Limits actually, I think it's completing the Limit Form attacks.

I just got it myself. I found that doing limits in LIMIT form is actually how it works. xD

In Limit Form, hold L1 and your Battle Menu should become a list of useable Limits while in Limit Form. Be aware that you need MP to use these.

 

I had the problem to...

In Limit form you know that section that says "Magic" (One under Attack with the hat)

In Limit Form it changes to "Limit" from there you can choose abilities from KH1...

Use the first one the most for it costs the least amount of MP and works well damage wise...I believe it is "Sonic" which is learned by beating Cloud on KH1...

If you don't need to kill enemys while doing limits why dont you just go nuts at a save point? Makes sence. XD And when your low on drive you go onto the world map and go back. You can master the form in no time.

 

Because you can't activate Limits without targeting an enemy.

 

When do you get Limit Form?

 

After your second visit to Twilight Town.

What abilities do you use and is it dodge roll that is your field ability?

 

You can use Ragnarok, Strike Raid, Sonic Raid, and Ars Arcanum as Limits.

And yeah, Dodge Roll becomes a Growth Ability.

Are they timed? How do they work? Are they the same? Are they cooler? How do you use them? What do you need? Are they cool? Are they as good as in 1? OMFG.

Nope, they're not on a timer like the normal Limits.

How do they work?
They instead have fixed MP consumption rates. Doing the full skill (not missing any reaction command follow ups) you consume the maximum MP required for the skill, if you miss some of it, the MP cost will dwindle as well (which is good)

Are they the same?
Overall, yes. They just look a little cooler with some upped graphics, I think, and more refined movement.

Are they cooler?
I'd say so. =)

How do you use them?
You can manually access them by going through your Limit List. But a faster way is to hold L1 and the Limits should be shortcutted to your Circle, Triangle, Square and X buttons.

Also, is Ars Arcanum still the best ability in the game? It sure was the best in 1.

 

I've personally been a fan of Sonic Raid, cause it does amazing damage for the MP consumption it uses, and of course it's a good way to get damage in while distancing yourself from your enemy (especially in mobs due to your speed).

For some odd reason, the timing for Ars Arcanum isn't the same as it was in KH1, and thus I've had some trouble landing the full combo of Arcanum =\. I haven't devoted enough time to figuren it out either. But Arcanum *was* my favourite in KH1.
