Digital Art Like OH MY GOSH!!!

This sig is like totally awesome!(In my opinion) and, like, why am I talking like this, I'm a damn guy XD

 

Looks cool, but i won't lie. By first impression was that this was Master Chief portraying Han Solo in Carbonite. I think a bit of color wouldn't have hurt but just me.

I really don't like it.

It feels to big and too much empty room. Don't center it in the middle like that, more to the left or right. Also, when you use text, use a default font, it'll look better.

 

Has pretty nice effects.

Because it's black and white, rather than working with colors and hues, you should be worrying about the contrast between the Black to White. Right now the entire thing is basically midtones (mostly grays). I'd either use a levels adjustment layer, a curves, color balance or brightness/contrast. B/C is the easiest way. I'd probably suggest that one to start out with.

Patterns aren't too bad either. Makes a nice background,r ather than a blank canvas. lulz

Back to the effects, try adding more depth to them. Because MC is a rendered stock, I would add a decent amount of background effects AND foreground effects to reflect his 3D shape. Though he doesn't look too 3D anymore, it'd still be nice.

I like the non-B&W version better. You just need to add some more effects to the backround and don't leave all that empty space.
