Light Vs. Darkness: The Hero's Return

Just as Gexln's attacks were about to connect, his opponent moved faster than even Gexln had expected, appearing as nothing more than a blur as he moved out of the way of the dark firaga and blade strike. Xander wasn't finished though, choosing to retaliate with his own sword strike, which Gexln barely managed to parry with his own weapon. Xander continued the attack, lashing out with his legs and kicking Gexln in the side, causing him to get knocked back a short distance away from the swordsman.
Caleb saw the attack from the wolf coming, but there was no time to get himself out of the way; it was far too fast for that. "Audrey, get out!" he shouted, shoving his daughter away from him and out of the way of the wolf's massive body. The force behind the attack was incredible, slamming into Caleb with enough strength to pin the man against the wall before he had a chance to summon a weapon at all.

Dane, too, was pinned against the wall, although it wasn't because he was too slow; he had wanted to see how much power this wolf had, and he was disappointed. Turning his head to look at the other warrior who was pinned there, he smirked a little. "Some goddess we're trying to kill. She's meant to be scaring us off, but rather than sending something threatening, she decided to give us a puppy for christmas. That's adorable, I love putting these things down" Dane said with a slight chuckle, before his hand started glowing with a dark purple aura.

Caleb couldn't believe what he was hearing. Finding joy in murdering allies, putting dogs down, making the goddess sound not threatening at all, just who was this man? He would have to get to that later. In his free hand that had not been pinned against the wall, a golden glow made itself visible, before morphing into the shape of a simple sword and eventually solidifying into just that. With as much force as he could muster, Caleb plunged the sword into the wolf's back as Dane thrusted his palm into the wolf. The creature was shoved back and recoiled slightly from the pain, but it would not be stopped for long.

"Alright, so you think you're quick, huh?" Gexln asked rhetorically. He looked at Dane and Caleb, who had successfully fended off the wolf's first attack. If the man in red wanted to prove how fast he was, he would contend with the wolf itself. The Wanderer of the Dark had a specific target he was going to take down first. He was surprised his injuries weren't healing as he thought they would; apparently the crystals had failed. It didn't matter though, he would still come out on top. He had to. Rushing straight past Caleb, Gexln slammed into Dane with overwhelming ferocity, punching Dane straight in the gut and lunging forward with Darkness' Sorrow as the wolf turned and went for Xander.

Caleb, not feeling any particular allegiance to Dane, left his side and went to help Xander. If the murderer was half as good as he seemed to think he was, he'd be fine, and if he wasn't then Gexln would take care of him, Caleb would take care of Gexln, and he would leave the situation all the better for it. As the wolf was about to hit Xander, the defender of light noticed the man in red again blurring, moving far too fast for the wolf to actually hit. As Caleb charged into the wolf with his full body weight, a counter appeared above the creature; it appeared that the girl that had been sick was now helping them in her own way. Together, he and Xander repelled the attacks over and over again, both of them simultaneously avoiding the strikes and retaliating with their own until the counter had gone from ten to zero. At that point, the wolf stopped and simply explodes into a dark vapour, killed by the doom magic.

Dane, however, was handling his fight much easier. Gexln had caught him off guard and landed a solid blow, but the attack from Darkness' Sorrow had been predictable, and had been easily parried with Dane's scythe. "Hey there buddy, long time no see. Where have you been? You never call or write, I'm hurt" he taunted, using his sheer strength to hold the two weapons together.

"Sorry, the fees to hell are murder" Gexln growled, attempting to overpower the man.

The attempt proved futile, Dain not struggling at all to hold them in place. He knew he was stronger than Gexln, and he had every reason to believe he could handle the Nobody, but he knew that even he would give way eventually if he didn't end it quickly enough. "Are they? I wouldn't know, maybe you can let me know after I've given you a one way trip there" the man responded, pushing forward and forcing Gexln to back away.

"Funny, I was going to suggest the same thing for you!" Gexln retaliated, swinging his sword at Dane.
"That's the best you have? Remind me to choose a wittier opponent next time" the shadow reaper said, ducking underneath the strike and swinging his scythe in response.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but there won't be a next time" the Wanderer of the Dark stated, hitting it out of the way and then launching a dark firaga at Dane.
"Damn right about that. Hey, at least you're accepting of your death" Dane said, countering the dark firaga with his own. The explosion from the two fireballs was huge for their size, knocking both warriors away from each other.

Gexln got up quicker than his opponent, breathing a little heavily after the effort he was putting in. Things weren't looking good. The crystals weren't working, and neither were any of his attacks. "You know, I was hoping I wouldn't have to use this, but I guess I should just end you guys quickly. Remember the X-blade, Caleb? You're about to see a little of its power once again" the Nobody stated, joking tone completely gone from his voice as he spoke.​

"Your point? A, you nor your little dog there look any threatening and B, this so called goddess of your isn't the most attentive person around I mean I been around for a good couple thousand of years, teeming to the brim with darkness, and she probably hasn't even noticed me." While he was locked up in a asylum for a good amount of those thousand years, the mass murder the committed in the name of fun should attract some kind of attention, at least that what you would think would happen. No matter. The goddess's inattentiveness was no skin off his bones.

It was at that point that point that the man had decided to attack by going after Xander while the wolf that had accompanied him had attacked Dane and Caleb. Now what Xross could've done was to get in a cheap shot seeing as how he was left standing there and he didn't want to miss a chance to fight someone who actually could fight back and he was going to do just that, just not right now. What he was going to do first was to wait and observe before making any moves. Lightly tapping his foot on the ground a small portal opened up under him and he sunk into it.

From his own little realm within the portal, he had himself a place where he could watch and evaluate Gexln. So far he clearly was fighting with skills which meant that his earlier boasting/threatening might actually have some meaning behind it and not be lies in order to make himself seem better than he actually was. Who knew. Despite them not being able to see or hear him, least right now, Xross could clearly him them. So when Gexln had mentioned the X-blade, Xross had being more interested in seeing what the nobody could do first hand. As his right hand clenched with excitement, a pitch black aura had given form. It was about time that he got in on some of the fun. Just then a portal had opened up directly above Gexln and out came Xross. His right hand balled up in a fist covered in a dark aura that was aimed at the nobodies head.

 

Xero had suddenly heard an explosion somewhere in the castle and without even thinking, she began running to where it was. As she got close she could hear people yelling and fighting with metal clanging against metal echoing off the walls. Xero summoned her scythe as a precaution then began running closer to the sounds. Once she passed the last wall to enter the room her eyes went wide as she saw Gexln against three other people and beaten up.

One was attacking and Xero was able to flash step in between the two and parry her scythe against the other man's scythe. Her feet slid across the ground a bit but she held her ground against him as he glared into the man's eyes, "Gexln, g-go!" She said, obviously struggling to hold against the man's strength. ​

Lexcifur let out a rather annoyed sigh, "Right, now lets get the hell out of here before they want us to follow them somewhere else." He said to Zavion.

"Falcon kick!" Beuce screamed as he flew into the room, his foot flaming for some reason. Some guy with a portal was reaching for Gexln...Menacingly! That wasn't allowed! Aiming his foot, he swiped it at him. If it missed, then he got the guy away from Gexln. If not, then he just smacked him in the face with a flaming foot. It was a win win. "Hey there G-man. Been a while. I see you haven't lost your knack for getting yourself into sticky situations. Lucky for you your ol' buddy Beuce is the greatest friend under the sun and is here to save your ass. I even brought your Wife and Stratos and some chick with a nice rack in case you wanted a nice view while we're kicking everything's ass for you. Just relax and hop on into a dark corridor. We got this covered." He looked around at their opposition. That guy in red had a hood, which clearly meant he was an assassin and very fast. That guy liked to portal, from the looks of things when they entered. Darkness Mcgee. Not much more to see there. A little girl who looked like she had just watched her puppy get run over by a truck, then the truck driver got out and laughed at her before driving away (Gabi's character, no doubt.). And finally, Caleb.

Oh hey, Caleb was there. And he was Archer! This would be an interesting fight. Beuce was fresh out of God Hands, so any nuclear arrows might be a problem. He began thinking of a strategy to handle each of them. In theory, with the others there, he should out on top in this fight. He summoned his Soul's Grasp keyblade in his left hand, while he tightly gripped his right one, causing it to glow momentarily and turn a dark red. This was his "going ham" mode. It empowered all of the most powerful abilities he had at his disposal. Spinning his keyblade, he threw a Strike Raid at Caleb before dashing at Xross. Ice formed over the claw like hand shortly before reaching his current location. He spun, swiping the hand in a full circle and radiating bone chilling air all around. In addition to being damaged by the magic, it would quite literally freeze anyone in the immediate area solid if they were too close. Ending the spin, he caught his Strike Raid on the return, reading himself for the inevitable counterattack.

Phantom responded with a small salute and a "Roger that boss", then shadow traveled away. Phantom was an assassin, the same as him. He lived in the face of death every day. Be it his or someone else, death was ever close. He had encountered the boy as a child, after killing his family for their corruption. He now understood why R had done it, but he remembered the burning need for vengeance well. In an effort to avoid him walking a similar path, he offered him a deal. Die with his family, or live and become his apprentice. He'd chosen the latter. Still, Ghost wondered if that was the right choice for him to make. To force the decision upon him. To force him onto the path of shadows. Whatever the case was, it was far too late to change anything. All he could do now was guide him through it as best he could. Although he wasn't sure it was his place. He was beginning to understand why R had given up the power of Kingdom Hearts to Sapphire rather than simply keeping it himself. Can a hand so stained with blood really be fit to guide another?

He was brought out of his thoughts by the voice of Sapphire. She told him about her children. How they were with the resistance, and she was still unsure why. Rather than asking him to find out, she asked him to watch over them. "My lady...I'm afraid i must ask something in return for this. As you have asked me to watch over your family...I need you to watch over mine. Do this for me, and i will be their guardian angel. Through hell and back, no harm will come to them so long as i stand." The request might have been a bit vague, but he had a feeling she knew what he meant. He had asked her to look after Phantom while he was away infiltrating the resistance. He didn't need to wait for her answer. Despite the rumors about her, Sapphire was a kind ruler. He had no doubt she would accept his terms. Walking off into the shadows, he vanished, and returned to Disney Castle.


Zavion could indeed see exactly what his sister was feeling. To be honest, he felt similarly. He just wanted to leave this place and find time to think. Lexcifur seemed annoyed at the situation, but he agreed that they should leave as well. "Listen. Both of you. I don't know what my mother is trying to do, and i don't know if finding this hero is the right choice, but we have an ally in Juliet. If what i've heard about Caleb is true, he'll help us as well. Be it to stop the rebellion or push it forward, i don't know yet. We'll have to see what happens from here on. I'll decide what i'm going to do then. For now, i think the best idea for either path is to tag along with this group. Pretend we're still a part of it. Thankfully that'll be pretty easy. They seem to be taking random people off the street into their ranks." Zavion said to his two friends quietly. Turning, he walked over to the dark corridor and passed through, returning to Disney Castle. ​

 

As the group had gone barreling through the Beast's Castle, they were apparently in search of someone named Gexln. When he thought of that name, there was something off about it. Something that he couldn't quite put his finger on. But nevertheless, he followed Beuce and Xero's lead in going on their rescue mission. As they had entered into the fight scene, both Beuce and Xero made their own entrances and had seemed to lock into battles of their own. After all, it would appear this Gexln guy was getting attacked by four people at once. Man, he wondered what kind of series of unfortunate events would lead to Gexln coming to fight here and then getting into a 4v1. I mean, he couldn't have just challenged them all from the get go. No one was that dumb...right? As he got closer to the fight he then looked at the Gexln guy, and there was something eerily familiar about him. Almost as if he had seen him and adventured with him befor- "Holy shit Glen? Is that you? Damn, you look good for three hundred sixty years...wait how are you still- never mind." At that point, Stratos had to go and pick his own fight partner for this clash of people.

Casually walking over to face Xross, Stratos looked at the guy and said, "so I guess we're lane opponents in this match off. So then," as Stratos spoke wind had begun to pick up around him, making his hoodie jacket flow in the wind, that he was creating. It was at that point a tight wind barrier had formed around Stratos's body. Aerogora barrier form. "Let's start." A giant gust of wind suddenly seemed to form around him that started sucking in his opponent as it formed a mini tornado. Aerogora vortex form. As it pulled his opponent in, Stratos had formed a large ball of compressed wind that he proceeded to fling at his opponent. Aerogora ball form. Throughout Stratos's training as a wind mage, he had learned of and mastered all the different forms of aero...because apparently when making the name for the spell, several people had contradicting ideas. Regardless, this was just the start of what he had learned to do.

  In the short span of time that took place after Xross had decided to attack Gexln, more people had joined in on the fight. The first one, some random chick, had blocked the attacked that was meant for Gexln and attempted to roundhouse him. A portal wouldn't help in this case since if he was able to get one up in time, then he would probably be kicked through it. So he quickly moved his free arm into a blocking position. It wasn't quick enough to fully block the attack, but he was able to deflect some of the force when it hit him. The impact of the attack pushed him back, but he managed to land on his feet.
  
  Well that didn't go according to plan, but a small interference like that wasn't enough to deter hi-

  Newcomer number 2 had arrived in what was likely a spectacular fashion. Unfortunately that spectacular fashion was yet another kick aimed at Xross. There probably was a joke that could be made about this and normally Xross would've been the one to say it, if it wasn't him all the kicks were directed at. Instead of trying to dodge this attack, he just did one of the things that he did best and avoided the attack via portal magic and appeared well not near where the attack had hit, which also included the deep freeze attack that was meant for him as well.
  
  Two sneak attacks, well more like attacks that came out of nowhere, and Xross was finally back on his feet for longer than a few seconds. Now was there anyone else who wanted to fight him? His answer was given when he noticed a laid back looking guy walk up to him and basically challenge him. The man proceeded to form an Aerogora barrier that was also slowly pulling him in closer. A smirk appeared on his face as he tried to figure out a way to get past it. Trial and error could work here, but it would be limited since getting pulled in was still a thing that was affecting him. Xross them placed the palm of his hand onto the ground and with a quick darkness fueled pulse, brought out two spike that were aimed for Stratos and Beuce respectively.

  It was now agreed that they would head back to Disney Castle and regroup with whichever group just happened to be there. So without waiting much longer, Zephyr walked through the corridor and ended up back at Disney Castle, which was all that happened cause MoK doesn't know what else to put atm.

  Avi just stood there while Sapphire, Phantom and Ghost had their talk for he didn't know what else he could do at this moment.

 

As Stratos's own assault began to begin, the man he was fighting had seemed to start enjoying himself. Well, that could only mean one of two things. Either a) he was someone who enjoyed a difficult fight, and thus were confident enough in their own strength and just wanted to be pushed or b) they were a total masochist who just wanted to get their ass kicked. He was kind of hoping it was the latter, though there was very little chance of that actually being the case. As the wind had pulled him closer, Stratos noticed that he had let loose a pulse of darkness that sank into the floor. From the ground he saw a dark spike was shooting straight at him and, as such, he had to immediately react to this. Summoning the Total Eclipse keyblade to his side immediately, Stratos put it up in a guard stance, and the keyblade combined with wind barrier had protected him from most of the force behind the attack. However, he could still tell that this person was not someone who could be underestimated.

Spinning the keyblade at the impossible velocities it achieves during strike raid, wind had completely covered the blade. He quickly tossed it in a way that, combined with the wind, would cause it to it him from the side, and then immediately arc back at him again from the back. To follow up on his Judgement command, Stratos quickly leapt towards the man at such fast speeds made possible by boosting via wind magic. Balling up his fist, a large amount of wind pressurized on it and Stratos immediately went in for a bunch. While his own strength wasn't that great, the magic on his fist would tell something completely different.

 

Just as Gexln was about to show his opponents just what they were dealing with, he heard the sound of a portal opening nearby him. Looking in the direction, he saw a new opponent entering the battle; and he looked as though there was no intention of holding back. Gexln readied his blade to defend himself, but just as he was about to be hit, the man was kicked away from him by somebody that was very familiar to him. "Xero? What the hell are you doing here? I thought I told you to-" the Nobody began, clearly confused as another fighter entered the fray, once again kicking Xross out of the way. "And Beuce? You brought Beuce? I would've rather died, he's never going to let me live this down!" Gexln complained. He then ceased his complaints immediately. "Well, I'm not going anywhere, no matter what either of you say. This is my fight, you should go back before you get involved" he stated.

If that wasn't enough of a shock for one day, it was then that Stratos appeared. "Hey Stratos, haven't seen you in forever. Stuff happened, I became a Nobody, got married, had a couple of kids. You know, standard stuff. The name's Gexln now, by the way" the Wanderer of the Dark said simply. His attention then turned back towards Xero as he heard the sound of weapons clashing. Looking back over to her, he saw her holding off an attack by Dane. Taking off, Gexln rushed over to help her.


As Gexln neared, Dane decided to make a move to change the situation he was in. The numbers were against them now with Xander taking off, Slave running away too, and Caleb's kid leaving. The kid wouldn't have been much use anyway, but cannon fodder was always useful. Looking at Xero straight in the eyes, he recognised her almost immediately. She probably had no idea who he was, but he'd kept tabs on Gexln for many years now. "Oh, it's you. That's a pretty scythe you have there in your hands. Pretty useless, that is" he said, putting a little more force behind himself and shoving Xero forward, breaking the parry as he turned his attention to Gexln. Acting quickly, the man angled his scythe so that he blocked the Nobody's attack, and then simply thrust his hand into the Wanderer of the Dark's chest, knocking him back and off his feet.

"Come on Gexln, You used to be cool. Remember when the darkness flowed freely through your veins, helping you make decisions? Are you really going to let a woman change that, undo all the work I did? She screwed things up for both of us, you just don't know it yet" the shadow reaper said, cold edge to his voice as he spoke. He stepped forward and gave a mock bow to Xero. "Hello there, beautiful lady. Your looks are as beautiful as the smell of a thousand corpses blowing in the wind, your technique as intriguing as a defeated soldier's will to go on after everything has been taken away. But where are my manners? My name is Dane Erapper. Destroyer of worlds, slayer of everybody, and the man that's going to torture and murder your husband there, nice to meet you. I hope you enjoy your stay in this castle, it will be short-lived" Dane said, radiating confidence as he spoke. Leaping forward, he swung his scythe in a low arc hoping to hit both Gexln and Xero in one strike.


Caleb was disturbed. He hadn't expected Gexln to have help in the battle, let alone help from Beuce and Xero. He had fought alongside them long ago, and he had trusted them with his life, but now it appeared they were enemies. As the strike raid from Beuce was launched at Caleb, the defender of the light sidestepped slightly and parried the keyblade with his sword, sending it back towards its wielder. "Xero, Beuce. I remember when you fought for what was right, when you proved yourselves to be capable warriors fighting for the greater good. What happened to those people? Sapphire has gotten out of hand since last we met, and I intend to stop her from causing anymore harm. If I have to raise my blade against friends to defend the defenceless, then so be it!" he shouted. Rushing towards Beuce, he decided to work with Xross' attack. He summoned a shortsword quickly and hurled it at Beuce, before running towards the white-haired warrior and attempting a slash at his stomach.


Audrey nearly screamed as she was grabbed by the girl. Everything was too much for her, too much fighting going on. She nodded at Alissia's explanation though. This girl seemed a little different to the others, like she hated the fighting just as much as Audrey did, and that made the little girl feel a bit more comfortable. As Xander moved to protect them, Audrey's eyes widened first in shock, then she felt a little safer, but then that feeling of safety was replaced by a feeling of fear.

Scrambling to her feet, the youngster hurried next to Xander and began hitting his legs, not with too much force but enough to hopefully get his attention. "What are you doing? Go help my daddy! Go save him! I can take care of myself!" she cried, her little fists pounding away.​

 

Xero was beginning to lose her grip while holding against the man attacking. His facial expression suddenly changed as if he realized something, "Oh, its you." He said. Xero was caught off guard by the statement. Did she know him? She doubted it. She had never seen this man in her life. Xero was then suddenly pushed back and almost fell. The man then spoke to Gexln and she gave him a glare as he said that she had apparently messed things up for them. What the actual f*ck was this guy talking about?

Suddenly he turned to her and she nearly froze. She looked at him warily as he suddenly bowed to her; she could see the smirk on his face as he did. Xero could only look at him rather disgusted as he began to try flirting in some twisted way. If it even was flirting. He then introduced him self and his name caught her attention.
Dane...?

No, this couldn't be that Dane... Gexln would occasionally talk about him, and that's the only reason why she recognized the name. But... Why was he in the rebellion?

Her questions would have to wait, for Dane had begun to attack again. Xero was able to back flip away from the blade, trusting Gexln to be able to get away himself. Once she landed on her feet she charged towards Dane, jumping up and attempting to slash at him as she came down.


Lexcifur followed Zavion and Freya through the corridor and to some colorful world. Be cringed at the sight of it and almost hissing at the sunlight and bright colors, "Oh dear God not this place again." He said.


Renna scoffed at the fight going on within the castle. She stood at the giant doors watching and eventually rolled her eyes and turned her back on everything. She walked down the halls and found that her friend obviously wasn't here. Renna let out a frustrated sigh, "Why tell me to come to this era when you don't even tell me where you are?" She said as she opened a rip in the atmosphere that lead to some place else. She took one last glance at the castle and stepped through.

"Only an hour? You sure don't care if people are really there to help you or not." Anadi commented before Jackie had gotten into explaining this hero business. Apparently, some goddess of some world or whatever was being corrupt. Obviously she needed to be stopped. "Maybe that's why that horse attacked us...it was the goddess..." she crossed her arms and tapped her chin. If this goddess had really sent that horse to attack their group, that means somebody had to have been sent to spy on them. That would be the only way to explain how she knew they were in the realm of darkness, after all. The only question, however, is who it could be. Jackie, Blanc, and this Ghost guy. Anadi could only suspect those three, after all, but they may suspect Anadi. It'd be silly to do so, since Anadi had never even heard of this goddess before in her life. Waving her hand and shaking her head to dispel these thoughts, Anadi looked at Jackie. "Well, maybe it was the goddess that sent that horse to attack us?" she asked, turning around. "I mean, that's the only way to expl-" she stopped mid-sentence, her eyes widening at the person she saw in the same room.

Standing tall, navy blue hair flowing down and sword to his side, was Ohm. It seemed he had just appeared out of nowhere. But why was he here? Crystallis was destroyed, there was no way Ohm could be alive. "How dare that goddess do such a think...P'tak..." she cursed under her breath. Baring her sharp teeth, she summoned her keyblade and leaped towards Ohm, swinging her keyblade hard at him. This goddess was just toying with Anadi now. Unfortunately for the goddess, Anadi was not going to just stand by and let her do such things. Anadi was going to fight back and get this hero to come and personally kick the goddess' ass. How dare this goddess try and use the visage of her own brother to trick her!

 

Ohm saw his allies step through the portal of darkness, not two seconds after, Lexcifur already made a snide comment about the castle, this earned a glare from the silent swordsman, and he was about to protest that insult to this beautiful world when a curse in his own language was heard by him. He stiffened, his sister...Anadi was okay? He turned and smiled brightly, preparing to greet his younger sibling warmly when something was off, she wasn't charging at him to hug him..she was attacking him. His bright expression faded and he quickly jumped out of the way of the forceful stroke of her keyblade, he observed the torn, violated floor with a look of mild confusion and turned to his sister, a look of light shock on his expression, was she trying to fight him? was she trying to kill him? He knew better than anyone in this room that he was the better fighter but he couldn't just fight his sister without a reason!​

 

The keyblade struck the marble flooring with a loud THUNK and left many cracks at the impact site. Glaring down at the keyblade, Anadi frowned harder and gritted her teeth even harder. Standing up straight, her keyblade stood tall. It was stuck in the marble for the time being, but Anadi didn't care. Grabbing the hilt, she yanked on it and pulled it out with ease. "Nice look of confusion, you fake." she said, contorting her bared teeth into a wicked smile. "But it's not going to stop me from destroying you." she yelled, lunging forward and swinging her keyblade at him again. A loud clang could be heard as her keyblade and his sword met. "Look at you, you even have a fakey sword!" she scoffed. Their weapons met a few more times before Anadi hopped back. "Don't worry, I'll try to make this quick for you."

As she stood there, her right hand behind her back, Anadi decided to ask this 'fake' some questions. "So, let me ask, did this goddess send your sorry ass here to try and stop us? Just like she did with that horse? Or was it because she just wanted to torment a girl who lost her home and her family?" Anadi questioned, tilting her head. "I bet she doesn't even know about the tattoo's we share. If you're just a fake, you'd never be able to have it because we hid them so well." she chuckled.

"Ain't having a father with weird family traditions just great?" she said, laughing louder.

 

Well, on the up side, Stratos was backing him up. Down side, Their opponent shot some darkness spikes at him and Caleb decided to counter that strike raid by running up and trying to slash him across the stomach. Rolling to the side of the spike, Beuce couldn't really do much in the way of the cut. So, across his stomach the blade went. It wasn't a deep enough injury to kill him or anything, but jeez it still hurt. Blood started to run down the front of him. "What do you mean Sapphire's gotten out of hand? She's done literally jack shit to warrent any kind of rebellion. Like, seriously, just go ahead and name me ONE thing that makes her a corrupt leader. If you can do that, i'll put on a dress and do a square dance." Now, Beuce was pretty sure that Caleb couldn't actually name anything, due to Sapphire not actually having done anything, but if he somehow managed to do it, then he totally would.

"Are you sure she needs to be stopped or are you literally fighting against one of your friends for the sake of a vague rumor you heard?" Beuce, at this point, was honestly kinda hoping that Caleb would stop attacking him, if not join them. It'd help if Stratos would heal that gash across his stomach. That kinda hurt. In a counterattack against Xross, he decided to use the elemental guardian command of Gravity. Also known as Transcendence. Raising his arm, a field of gravity entrapped the group in a pocket dimension thing, and began causing enemies to fly all over the place. Best description 2015. When that was over, he turned to hear Dane gloating about what a badass he was and he was evil and dear god this was pitiful. Cool villains don't go around announcing how cool and villainous they are! Then they're just cliché. "Good god, Summer's eve, your ego is showing. You know what they say about guys with big darkness." Beuce said before holding up his pinky finger and wiggling it at him. ​

 

As Ohm was the better swordsman, he was able to fend off Anadi's attacks quite effectively. He only twisted his body certain ways and drew his sword only half way to block her attacks, not even drawing all the way out. As a Master Swordsman, he didn't really see the need to. He had some breathing room when she finally jumped back. Her question warranted Ohm's silence, as usual. His expression was concern and confusion, what could have possibly caused this? Her malicious laugh gave him chills but he stood there, unmoving for a second. Then he reached and clutched the hem of his tunic, pulling it slowly over his head and revealed his toned, athletic upper body. His torso was littered with scars, notable an x-scar on his left pec either from training or battle. Quietly. he twisted his forearm a bit, a tattoo of a star, much similar to his father's was there resting just below his shoulder. He looked from the tattoo to Anadi, a soft expression adorned his features."Ana.."He said, but it was just a sound, one could swear he was trying to say his sister's name.​

The fact that his initial attack had caused his opponent to summon their keyblade as an added blocking measure was enough for Xross to be able to be able to figure out a way to fight while avoiding being pulled in via the vortex. As best as he could, Xross tried to add some space between himself and the man when he noticed that he'd tossed his keyblade towards him. Expecting it to be a average strike raid, Xross had prepared to guard it from the front when the keyblade had started to arc around him. Well that was interesting and likely going to be a pain to block. He was right about them being a pain to block for he had to take guess based off the assumed direction, which worked for the most part. Granted there was still the physical attack that the man was making.

Xross was able to block the physical part of the attack, but with all the magic that was backing it up gave the attack enough force to send him back quite a bit, which didn't help when he was bounced staging the walls twice as a result of the white hair guy's magic. They were definitely an interesting bunch and knew how to fight. This was perfect! It was exactly what he was hoping for. Once he was back on the ground, he chuckled a bit to himself before saying. "Now its my turn." In a matter of seconds Xross had formed a lance made of pure darkness and threw it towards the wind user. While the weapon was in flight Xross ran behind it, holding a dagger made of darkness.

 

Standing there, Anadi clutched her keyblade as hard as she could. She held it so tight, her knuckles were turning white. In her mind, she was going over the exchange in blows that had previous gone down. Ohm didn't even so much as lift a finger when she attacked him. Last Anadi checked, he hadn't mastered that sword of his. While he was nearly a master of his sword, Anadi was gaining strength with her keyblade. In fact, she was pretty sure her keyblade skills were far better than her magical skills. Physical attacks were what she focused on, after all, when she trained. Her mother wanted her to be a healer, but Anadi ignored her please and continued her march towards mastering her keyblade. In fact, Anadi remembered her mother saying that she was ready for a Mark of Mastery exam. "Oh well." she told herself, looking up at Ohm.

He was taking off his top. A look of confusion spread across her face, not sure why he was doing this. Behind her back, the dark ball was just about ready. "Just another minute or two.." she said to herself, frowning. Her eyes gazed at Ohm, watching as he twisted to show a tattoo of a star on his shoulder. Anadi's eyes widened and she gasped. How could this fake have a tattoo that only she and her family knew about? This goddess must be a mind reader or something. Anadi turned her body enough so that her left leg was moved away from him. She dared not let the fake have a look her own tattoo. "Don't you Ana me you FAKE!" she yelled. Her right hand emerged from behind her to reveal the ball of darkness that she had been creating. Holding it forward, she smirked. "Say goodbye." she said.

Her hand released the dark ball and it headed right for Ohm. Unfortunately for Anadi, this dark ball was rather weak and was very easy to deflect.

  As things had progressed, Stratos's judgement strike raid had gone basically as well as it could have, having set him up perfectly for the follow up against Xross. His fist connected with the man and, due to having such a large force of wind behind it, had caused him to be launched straight in the wall. Man, he had not fought anything except behemoths and garden variety heartless in quite awhile. Was a bit refreshing. Especially without any random powers from nowhere being introduced. He then noticed a gravity field smashing against the white haired man as well, only to realize that the source was Beuce. Briefly looking back he saw that the man had sustained a good deal of damage already. That was what happened when you went balls to the walls offensive. In order to help his bleeding friend out, he multicasted Curaga and Aeroga, (barrier form) on Beuce all at once, hopefully making his own fight easier.
  
  His attention, however, had been drawn away for too long, as when he turned back he noticed that a giant black spear was flying towards him. Not having much time to react, Stratos quickly brought his keyblade up to deflect the spear. Due to the awkwardness of the block, he had to put in a lot more effort than normal and thus was a bit off guard when he noticed the man was holding a dagger as he charged at him. Well shit. The only thing he could really do at this point was channel more wind magic around himself to create a more durable barrier, so that is essentially what he did.

  Jackie had completely waved off Anadi's comment about Jackie's go getter attitude, when her next comment kind of made her get a puzzled look on her face. She brought up the point that the horse, Not-Sparkles, was most likely sent by the goddess to stop them. With a bit of concern in her voice, Jackie said, "yes Anadi. That is indeed why it was there. We found this out almost immediately before fighting it." It was true, their close ally and trusted friend Ghost, who had stepped into the shadows to do something completely ambiguous, had informed them that the random black stallion they had found travelling in the realm of darkness was working with the goddess to warn them off. How could she have forgotten such crucial facts? Maybe she actually had a short term memory loss problem, and she just forgot about it. Well one couldn't help that then. She then seemed to angrily stomp off, magical pipe in hand, towards her brother and started attacking him. Probably some weird family thing they had going on. Nevertheless, she sighed and shook her head as she looked at Ghost, who had just popped back from the shadows, and said, "man, some people are just weird. You know?"
  
  Meanwhile, there was someone who was bored in the room. He was bored and all he had were the infinite and random books in the room to divert his attention. Then there were the two gingers who did nothing productive themselves, and only seemed to annoy him further. After all, the female just didn't have a handle on what she was doing half the time, but she was also pretty juvenile in her thought process. And then there was the male ginger who was just...himself...and that was all he needed to be in order to shift his demeanor. The bored man was annoyed now. As the group from The World That Never Was was piling out of some dark corridor he felt some of this annoyance alleviate as it meant that progress had been going on. However, this slight uplift in his mood was suddenly spiked to subterranean levels as one of the members from the realm of darkness group had drawn their weapon on one from the former's group. His grip on the current book tightened as the female was shouting and striking at the boy about being a fake and what have you. The annoyed man was now frustrated.
  
  As the telegraphed dark ball of fire shot straight at the boy, a book seemed to be sailing across the room at mach speeds in order to intercept it. This was accompanied with another book sailing across the room at the girl who had launched the attack in the first place. This was then followed up by the sound of wood snapping from across the room, with the frustrated person saying,"what. The fuck. Are you doing?" The man, had an expression that could only be summed up in one word. Pissed.
  
  Lucien then continued to shout at the girl. "Listen you chucklefuck. I know you are all enamored with this dark power of yours, but I didn't think you'd turn batshit crazy." He thought about that for a second and then decided to take that back by saying, "well, not this soon anyway." He then went back to angry while shouting,"now I don't why you think that kid over there who hasn't said a single damn word and not someone I'd call suspicious in the slightest is some sort of constructed fake made by the goddess, but you know what. I'm going to drop a huge bombshell. Are you ready? I. Don't. Give a fuck. So, if you could please stop trying to kill someone, especially in the middle of oh I don't know," he did a brief head count around the room,"eleven other people, that'd be fucking swell." Lucien then proceeded to go and walk back to the chair he had been sitting at to read, and propped his feet up on the now, completely broken, wooden table he had been using prior.

  The man may have been able to deflect the spear, but it wasn't in the best of manners, thus given Xross a better chance of not having to worry about the attack being blocked by his keyblade. There still was the wind barrier, which from how it seems to surge around him, had gotten stronger. Still the wind barrier wasn't going to stop him. The blade of the dagger had taken a dark glow to it as Xross swung down onto the shield. His plan was to cut through the wind barrier by strengthening the blade with his darkness. If that had worked then he would be able to attack at a closer range. If not, then he would have to deal with it if it failed.

  Zephyr had no idea how to react to the events that had just transpired. The mute's sister had attacked him under the accusation that he was a copy, which was weird. Zephyr knew jackshiit about the guy aside from how he said little, so to him it would be odd if he started talking up a storm. Then him being a copy would be a bit of a more valid assumption, but that was just him. Then someone else got involved, by throwing books at both the fire spell and the girl, getting pissed and going back to reading the book. "Oookay? If that's all out of the way (hopefully) what are the next places we need to check?
