Light Vs. Darkness: The Hero's Return

​

Whelp it looked like it was time to head out to the world that he'd chosen. So Zephyr got up out of his seat and saw that Rinox had already left. Well crap. There goes one of his methods of transportation. That put the teen in quite the predicament, especially the way that he actually could use himself had was used up when he arrived at Disney castle. So unless he could find another way of leaving, he was going to be stuck of librarian duty. That was when he noticed that there was some else here other than Lucian (and whoever else that I might be forgetting). He'd said his name was Xross. Something about him didn't sit right, but it was still a chance at getting a free ride. So he had to take it.

Zephyr then approached Xross and said. "Yo, mind giving a guy a lift to the next world?"

Xross cut his eyes towards Zephyr before shrugging which was followed by him snapping his fingers, causing a portal to appear behind Zephyr. Zephyr responded by looking at it. Despite basically being the same thing, function wise, he had a odd feeling about this and he walked through a dark corridor barely knowing anything about it. "Alright, I'll go on ahead then."

"Agreed." Xross then proceeded to give Zephyr the boot and kick him through the portal. Why? Cause he thought it would be funny. That said, he soon walked through it himself.

On the other side of the portal Zephyr had ended up in a tree on some island while Xross was on the ground. Great, I can already tell i'm not going to like him.

Elsewhere on the very same Island Asura was beating down some trees. Why you ask, to get stronger of course and that I not sure what else to have him do other than beat down some tree and walk around.

"Suit yourself." she said, watching Caleb leave through his portal. He had dragged Audrey with him, not even asking her how she was, and it was obvious he didn't care. "Tch." she went, turning her head to see that not many people were left here. Lucien was busy with whatever and Sherridan had left. Ohm left some time ago, who knows where, so Samsara just had to choose where to go. Walking towards Lucien, Samssara wasn't sure how she was going to ask Lucien anything. Everything was confusing and she was so lost right now. "Are you going to choose a place?" she asked him, trying to avoid her own questions she had. Once he answered, she nodded and attempted to ask her question. "What do I do, knowing I'm walking down a dark path? Should I continue? What happens if...I...lose?" she asked him, not expected a straight answer from him. This time, she listened to him intently, placing a hand over the crystal in her shirt. After Lucien was done talking, Samsara slowly descended through her dark corridor beneath her. Her eyes closed while she was in deep thought.

Rising out of a dark corridor in the ground, Samsara opened her eyes to see that she was on a flying boat in space. Looking around, she recognized Jackie, Blanc, and Ohm. The other two she didn't know at all. Clearing her throat, she tried to make sure her voice was still different compared to her regular voice. Stepping towards the group, she held her hands behind her back. "My name is Samsara. What are your names?" she asked the 5 of them. This was going to be a difficult world, but they were sure to at least get along long enough. Staring at Zavion and Freya, they had a rather odd smell about them. She raised an eyebrow, but shook her head slightly. She was just imagining things.

 

As he walked around the city, murdering those who didn't walk in the light, he came across a strange man with a strange arm. He could sense the aura of the goddess. This was going to be a good test for him. If he could beat this man with little effort, he should be able to take on the goddess. However, the look the man gave stated otherwise. He couldn't sense any form of serious tone in him, even a strategy was fuzzy.

An arena was formed by a strange twirl and blur effect. "Another servant of the goddess. Maybe you'll be as fun as the other one. Shame he is dead now." Crybex summoned two of his angel fighters and sent them forth towards Beuce. Crybex readied his light blade and charged forth as well.

 

Lucien continued to just sit there and wait for people to allocate themselves to their worlds, when suddenly something he didn't expect to really happen happened. Samsara had walked over to him and asked if he were going anywhere. He wondered what suddenly brought around this sort of change in her demeanor, as she was fairly certain that she hated him. Not really taking his eyes off of what he was reading, Lucien simply said,"nah, I'm not feeling particularly inclined to be a bystander to drama or doing absolutely nothing again." He continued to figure that she would just leave, however, she then seemed to proceed to talk to him more. And it appeared she wanted...life advice? Well that was a new one. For the most part, plot related things not withstanding, no one really asked much of him ever, so he had basically zero experience in this sort of department.

Letting out a sigh, Lucien tossed the book behind him, and looked up so that he was clearly addressing her."Whether or not you should continue doing what you're doing isn't any of my business. After all, the only person who can decide on that is yourself. As for what to do," he had a pensive look on his face as he put his hand to his chin. "Well, when you're walking down a dark path, you got slow down and focus a little more than normal. Otherwise, you're just gonna fuck up, get flustered and fuck up more. And if you lose," he shrugged and said,"don't fuck up and try not to lose again. Simple as that really." With that said and done, Lucien had retrieved another book and had continued to go back to reading once more.

 

Xero finally stopped crying, her eyes unable to produce more tears for the while. She stood up and tied the crystal with the string from her necklace. Xero wasn't sure what to do next. Sapphire had left to go find this Cybrex guy that had escaped from a prison she had created specifically for him.

She opened a dark corridor and stepped through appearing next to Sapphire, "I'm helping you." She simply said.​

Lexcifur looked to Zavion and Freya as they walked through the corridor to the world they wanted to go to. He couldn't help but constantly think of the encounter with his mother. He had an idea of what he could do to prevent her from blabbing out their secret to the group and that was to find her himself. Lexcifur sighed with a small growl then looked back to his two friends, "I'll meet back up with you guys later. There's something I need to do." He said as they left. He opened his own corridor and hesitated for a moment before walking through. He found himself in the plaza of Riel in front of Sapphire's castle.

Lexcifur looked around; the last memory he had of this place was his execution. He wasn't sure where his mother was or where he should look. He definitely didn't want to look inside the castle because Sapphire is the last person he wants to see right now. ​

 

Hunter crossed his arms and thought about the invitation from Gwen. Holding up fingers as he mentally counted his options, he came to a grand total of 4. He could say no, he could say yes, he could completely ignore the post, or he could change the topic. "Ginger, if I took you to dinner, you'd never be able to say I owe you again. One night with me is more than any one woman can ever get over, but sure why not. I mean, gotta find the hero and stuff first, but that shouldn't take too much longer. Plot says it's soon" he stated, before turning around and pointing a finger straight at the computer screen. "And don't you get any ideas of killin' me off, I'm survivin' this RP, glory points and all that crap" he warned.

Facing Gwen again, he could see that she was trying to find a way out of the lab. Fortunately for her, Hunter's power of RNG had given him Absolute Strength for the post, and he was about to put it to good use. "One escape route, coming right up" Hunter declared, before lunging forward and punching the wall in front of him. The entire wall exploded, breaking into small pieces of rubble from the sheer force and launching far away, off into the distance. As the smoke cleared, Hunter was still standing in the same pose, but stood up straight. "Holy **** that was awesome! I hope I get that power when the boss comes, they'll be so screwed" he exclaimed. Noticing there was a man beating up trees, Hunter wandered over to him. "No no, you're doing it all wrong, you gotta do it like this" he said as he uppercut the living **** out of the tree and sent it flying up into the sky, ejecting it out of the world. Damn he was loving that power. If he didn't end the post, he could have the power forever. He'd never have to fight a boss ever again, they'd all just di-


Dane took a seat next to Alisia. She hadn't done particularly well, and he had hit her whenever she had screwed up, but she hadn't done nearly as bad as he had thought. He nodded. "For the moment, yeah. You know, if you'd been practicing this hard for the last couple of years you might actually be somewhat...i'm not going to say threatening, but..not completely defenceless. Course, you don't need to really be able to defend yourself too much, I just figure it might help. I take good care of my things, so I won't let anybody kill you. You won't need to worry, if any enemies pop up your master will kill them all" he said with a slight chuckle. Reaching into his coat, he pulled out a potion and held it out to Alisia. "Drink this, it'll help you heal a little faster. If you're going to practice, you gotta be able to stand, and I don't think it's going to happen if you've got broken bones" the shadow reaper said. He hadn't intended on breaking any bones earlier, but with Alisia's movements getting sloppier and sloppier whenever she leaned in a certain direction, chances were there were a few injuries he hadn't intended on.


Caleb had a grim look on his face indeed as he arrived on the space ship. It didn't look like any ships he'd been in, but then again he hadn't been in many. Either way, it didn't matter what it looked like. So long as the space ship could take them to wherever the hero may be, it could look like absolutely anything and Caleb wouldn't care. He only wanted this hero to be found, to be released, and then he wanted to be let loose on Dane. No matter what Dane did to him he wouldn't stop and he wouldn't give up. He was going to run his blade through Dane's throat, and he was going to make sure he suffered.


Audrey had followed her father without a word through the dark corridor. Stepping into the darkness again wasn't a nice thought, but after being in the realm of darkness for so long she wasn't too afraid of it. Besides, she trusted her father. She trusted he would protect her, as he always had. Although, the words that the others had said had placed some worry in her mind. Her mother being killed was something she was still struggling not to cry about, what would it be like if Caleb gave into his hate? Reaching up, she poked Caleb in the back with her finger. "Are they right, dad? Are you going to go away? Are you going to give into the darkness" she asked, her voice very quiet and full of worry.

Snapping out of his thoughts, Caleb looked down at his daughter, who was gazing at him with concern in her eyes. He wanted to reassure her, but how was he meant to do that when he couldn't reassure himself? Better to tell her the truth and hope she understood. Audrey was naive, but she usually understood what he meant pretty well. Bending down, he looked right into her eyes. "I don't know, Audrey. If I have to give into the darkness to make things right, to rid the worlds of people like him, then maybe. But no matter what, I'm not going anywhere. You're not losing both of your parents, I promise. I'll always be here to protect you, to keep you safe from harm. Don't worry so much" he said, forcing a smile and ruffling Audrey's hair a little. "This spaceship could take a while to get where it's going, if it ever reaches there. Feel like doing some exploring?" he asked, and was relieved to see an excited nod from his daughter.​

 

Ohm quietly watched as Lexcifur entered and then immediately left for some unknown reason. His brows furrowed but he didn't seem to care any more than that, if the guy wanted to leave, Ohm would not hinder him. The greeting rang in his ears as Jackie came. He heard her nickname towards him and gave an annoyed glare right at her. He turned away and grunted. If he wasn't hurt before, he was now. He saw another enter the world. it was the white haired girl he had seen earlier. He could smell the darkness coming off of her and his head turned away, his expression unsure of whether or not he should even address the girl. He just wanted to search for his sister and somehow bring her back. He walked past Samsara and inspected the landscape in silence. Space, nothing but empty, vaccumous space.​

A shadow emerged from a cave within the island, aroused by the noises that were sounding off outside. What in the world was going on out there? The figure stiffened, seeing a pair standing not too far away from her. Akira pulled out her katana and stepped into a fighting stance, her eyes fierce and determined. Her sword soon ignited and orange flames licked the blade. "Who are you?" she demanded, her eyebrows furrowed as her red hair whipped behind her with the ocean's breeze. "What are you doing on my island?" Her voice was taunt. These were strangers, intruders in her territory. She had no idea who they were or what their motives were.

OOC: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP?!?!?! "

 

"Nah, even the strong willed get knocked over. It's a bit of a curse, unfortunately, but kinda an awesome one sometimes" Hunter said. He then felt a magical sensation in his body, and he began wondering what Gwen was doing. He felt the effects almost immediately. It was a feeling of freedom, a feeling of having more room and-

He looked down and screamed.

"GINGER WHAT THE ACTUAL **** DID YOU DO AND WHY?" he shouted. He was going to kill her, screw any shipping, she was going to die. Oh wait, everything was okay...for he had the power of Author Authority! Hunter merely pointed down and immediately the changes were undone and things were back to normal. Yes, perfectly normal, he hadn't increased the size whatsoever, it was always that big. Always, don't question this.

However, Gwen decided to comment on the scenery. This was that moment where character development happened wasn't it? And he had to say something all romantic and stuff to win over the female. Despite what Gwen had said, he was getting ideas. He walked over. "It is pretty, very pretty. Me gustan los tacos. Ellos saben bien, especialmente con esa salsa especial que es tan agradable" he said, his voice trailing off as he used the power of exotic language to woo the woman. "Sure is good that nobody's here to interrupt this moment right?"

It was then their moment of peacefulness and other boring things was interrupted by Shrek. And he was pissed off about them invading his swamp. "Ginger, don't look now but..there's another ginger. She emerged from the cave back there and she's shoutin- oh ****. Ginger..Ginger we're done. We just finished the RP, we just won everything, we can go off and bang now, we found the hero!" Hunter exclaimed, grabbing Gwen by the shoulders and shaking her. Turning back to face Shrek, he decided not to let the hero show him up. Clearing his throat, he pointed at the ground and used his power to place a sign there with 'Hunterz swump' written on it. "Oi, Shrek, this is my place, not yours. See? Name on it, right there. You're invading my stuff, so you get out of here and go kick Sapphire's ass for us would ya?" he shouted at the newcomer.


Dane raised an eyebrow. "Thanks? Huh, there's a word I haven't heard in a while. Almost forgot about it. There isn't a need for it, anyhow, I mean I can't have you go around injured or you're going to be about as useful as braindead cannon fodder. Can't have you being like that, can I?" Dane asked rhetorically. While he spoke the truth, there was a small part of him that felt obligated to protect her. He hated everyone, he wanted just about everyone dead, but this girl was one of few that had survived his wrath. She would die eventually, of that he was sure, but...what harm was there in prolonging that just a little longer? Standing up, he picked up his scythe. "Enough talking though, we need to get to work. Gotta train you and all but hey, somewhere there's this hero guy. May as well search around here" Dane said. They were in a barren and very much dead area, but he knew exactly where they were. He was at the Keyblade Graveyard. If there was anything that could be called a battleground of legends, it was there; and maybe, just maybe, it had a hint to where a fallen hero of legend remained.​

While Zephyr worked to get himself down from the tree that he'd been dumped into, Xross simply just looked up at his attempts. At first he'd just smirked before eventually chuckling to himself at the sight before him. Once would think that it wouldn't take much effort to get down from a tree, but for Zephyr it apparently did. Didn't help that his movements were rushed and thus he was making quite a bit of mistakes. "How bout instead of laughing, you help me down from here."

"Why should I? Its not my fault that your stuck up there." Much to Zephyr's annoyance, Xross was being very difficult

Mother fucker your the reason I'm up here! Is what he wanted to say, but he learned that he couldn't just act off his anger. No matter how much the other guy deserved it. So instead what he said was. "Cause you put me up here, now do something dammit!"

Xross's chuckling came to an end as he sighed as well as shrugged his shoulders. "Very well." Approaching the tree, he gave it a swift kick to its trunk. From Zephyr's perspective it looked like he did jack all, but in reality a shock wave of darkness coursed through the tree's inner workings and up to where Zephyr was situated. The branch shook violently until it basically dropped him out of the tree and onto the ground face first. "Happy now?" You could practically hear the smugness in his voice oozing out of those two words.

At this point Zephyr would love nothing more but to deck him right in his smug face, yet something told him that doing do would only backfire on him. So he muttered some swears into the ground, got up and brushed any lingering dirt off his face. All this and he was still able to see the tree being sent flying through the air. "Wonder if that's where we're suppose to go?" He muttered this under his breath so that Xross wouldn't have a chance to make some kind of smart remark in response and headed off towards the direction in which the tree was fired from.

 

Xero looked at the bodies on the ground and kept her guard up. She didn't know who this Cybrix person was but he was obviously an enemy to Sapphire and Beuce.
"Who is this guy exactly? What did he do that was so bad, it made you create a jail specifically for him?"​

  As Jackie was all hyped up and ready to go forward on to the their adventure towards treasure, and an entire planet at that, another newcomer had joined them. Jackie had seen her before, however, that was only really in passing. Nevertheless, Jackie was thrilled that she had actually taken the initiative to introduce herself unlike all those other introverts from the group who had seen it fit to just sort of do things with group members without even knowing their group member's names. Rude much. As she was about to introduce herself, good old Lexi had sort of just portaled in, talked to his lover and lover's brother, and then portaled out. Well, that was a tad bit on the random side. She then looked back to the Samsara person, and said, "hello there Samsara. Welcome aboard the JA Adventure Hero Hunting Friend Ship, or JAAHHFS for short."
  
  Pointing to herself with a proud look on her face, she explained, "I am this lovely abandoned vessel's esteemed self appointed Captain, Prime Minister, President, and Overlord of all Things Fun and Funky Fresh, Jackie Album. Standing next to me here is my first mate, Vice President and Head Salad Chef, Blanc. Over there," she pointed to Zavion and Freya saying, "they are both in charge of maintaining this ship's awesome and overall inspiring appearance, in addition to being divinely great not salad chefs and absolutely celestial cabin mates. They are, Zavion and Freya, respectively. And he!" She pointed over to Ohm...only to pause for a brief moment as she then continued, in as prideful but more hesitant voice, "is the local lookout scout, who uh, um...I don't know his name because he never talks, but dammit he's wonderful at what he does!" After having explained everything, Blanc sniffed the air for a second and raised an eyebrow at Samsara. Jackie, rolling wonderfully on her Perception check then looked to him and said, "what is it first mate Blanc?"
  
  He looked back to her and calmly said, "we've already met her, so you didn't need to introduce us again."
  
  "Please Blanc," she explained to him waving her hand as if to wave away his comments, "I think I'd remember someone with white hair and red eyes. After all, I don't know anyone like that." She said, contently nodding to herself. As Blanc gave her a neutral look she then looked back at him for a second, before averting her eyes away and amending her previous statement. "Who also happens to be female." She then turned back to her wonderful crew of swashbucklers and said, "all right then, let us move onward towards adventure!" And because I know fuck all about Treasure Planet, that's about as far as I can go.

  Phantom had simply been at his workshop the entire time he had been back at Riel. While he probably could have gotten something better to classify as such a place, outwardly it was just a somewhat run down looking shack outside of the goddess's city. Inside, it was still on the run down side, but there were tons of loose metal parts and tools hanging all around. On the table in the center, Phantom was working on making a few new things. There were a few books just sort of lying open, one with a bunch of schematic notes and the other with notes on what appeared to be magic. While Phantom hadn't quite come to his conclusion on new magic for himself yet, he was just about finished with a new weapon suitable for close combat. While his rifle, Verdict, was generally all purpose, he needed something to help him out in more close combat situations. And so he created this new handgun in order to cater to that need. There was also Kaminari, but Phantom didn't really think it was the most effective way of fighting. As he had finished the weapon, he then got a message from Sapphire telling him to go bring someone at the front of her palace to her.
  
  Letting out a sigh, Phantom went to put on his jacket as shadow traveled straight to the area in question, seeing the person standing there. As he was about to just carry out his duty, he realized who it was that was standing there. "Hey, you, you're one of those guys who was at The World That Never Was. Come to turn yourself in finally, good good. Regardless, I got orders from the big boss to go and bring you to her so, let's get going." With that, Phantom had started walking towards Sapphire's place, guiding Lexcifur along.

  After having been defeated at Olympus Colosseum, Stratos had decided to fly his way straight back to Riel. As he flew there, he wondered just what exactly he was going to do next and so as he was about to land on the planet, something weird happened. An emerald meteor came out of nowhere and hit Stratos's keyglider, causing him to lose balance and fall further down to the planet, where he, thankfully, landed on one of Crybex's weird light angel things to soften the blow. Casting cure on himself, he then looked at the weird light guy, and then saw Beuce, casually saying, "oh hey you're alive." Looking at Crybex he then said, "so I guess we're supposed to be taking him down?"

  Rinox had simply been following the bear Xander and Moose, now accompanied with Sherridan as well, as they had continued to go and search for the hero in this world. Overall this place had seemed overall dull and completely uninteresting, but it was a bit of a necessary evil he had supposed, as this was so far one of the only actual places that could most likely house the hero. Exchanging a shake with the moose, Rinox had simply said, "I am Rinox. A pleasure to meet you Carl." He then turned to Xander and said, "so, Xander, tell me. What drives you to find this hero? I mean, aside from saving Alisia as that was a recent event, there had to be something driving you on prior to this."

  After the whole thing with Dane had settled down and the legend had been recounted once more, Charlotte had seen most people leave to their world of choice. Now, while Charlotte had felt slightly uneasy around those practitioners of darkness, she had to admit their ability to travel universally anywhere at any given time was pretty handy. Regardless, Charlotte had been tossed a map by the blue haired man, and seen where in space she had to travel to. Sprouting out wings of light, she flew through the roof of the building and off through space. Now, while some may question as to why Charlotte is able to fly through space without protection, there is a better question to be asking. Why is there a giant floating whale in space? That's what I thought.
  
  Anyway, Charlotte had ended up flying all the way to a giant space ship and briefly wondered as to why the hero would possibly be in here, but there was scant logic behind most things that had happened thus far. Landing on the ship, she looked for an opening outside, and realized that this one of those times you had to make a door. And so, she simply took her blade and struck at the hull of the ship, creating a large opening that she just sort of jumped through. The ship then used some weird emergency breach repair system thingamajigger, and everything was all gucci. Continuing her walk in the ship, she eventually saw Caleb and his daughter and called out, "Caleb. Glad to see someone else on this odd ship. Have you found anything on the hero yet?"

  Lucien had simply been chilling at the library flipping through a book. As he was sifting through the pages, he had simply looked up for a second as he noticed something. "Man, I feel an overwhelmingly large amount of stupidity..." he paused for a brief moment as he went to go look back at his book saying, "everywhere."
  

 

Beuce was about to parry an attack from one of the angels, but he found that he didn't need to. From the sky, tripping over a meteor made of irony, came his partner in crime. Beuce chuckled in response to Stratos stating that he was alive. "Of course i'm alive! I wouldn't die even if you killed me!" And somewhere, Caleb probably broke something in a fit of rage. Turning his attention back to Crybex, Beuce confirmed what Stratos had asked him in a rather serious tone. "Yeah. This asshat thinks that all you need to do to be the main antagonist is genocide a bunch of people. Well i'm here to tell you that's wrong! You can't just usurp the position! This RP has a concrete, finely established, well thought out plo-" Beuce stopped mid sentence and started laughing uncontrollably. "Ohhh Sapphire i can't even say it with a straight face. Alright let's kick his ass." Beuce activated the battle mode of his god powers. Hold onto your seats boys and girls, 'cause this shit's about to get weird. From the tip of his spine burst four white and red tendrils of uh...i dunno godfuckery or something... From each vertebrae in his back shot a spike of the same color. Finally, his eyes changed to yellow and white, because regular ghoul eyes look pretty goddamn evil. Now that he was fully transformed into Shonen upgrade mode, he let out his fiercest battle quote. "Ok."



Jackie was, by far, the most subtle person he'd ever met. She'd get along well with Freya. Evidently they were in charge of maintaining the ship's appearance while not being salad chefs. Well, he hadn't planned on preparing any Salads while on their voyage, but now he was apparently supposed to expressly avoid it. He'd never liked salad anyway. Too much plant. it reminded him of the gardens on Riel. The home he could never go back to. Zavion looked off the edge of the ship in a brooding fashion, staring at the stars. How many lives would their actions change? How much would the water ripple because they touched it?

His thoughts were interrupted by the assassin who approached him, leaning over the rail. "Ghost...Why are you here?"
The man didn't give it much thought. "Your mother asked me to watch over you. She is concerned about your safety. I'm not under orders to bring you to Riel or anything of the sort. Simply make sure harm doesn't befall you or your sister."
"That's not what i meant..." Zavion paused, trying to think of how to word it. "Do we really have any right to interfere with the lives of so many people? How do we know what we do is the right choice, in anything?"
"I suppose we don't."
"That's reassuring..."
"No one knows what the outcome of their actions will be. All we can do is stumble blindly into the future. If what we do is wrong, then we simply must try with all our power to make amends."
"And what if we can't? What if we end up screwing things up so badly we can't fix them? What are we supposed to do?"
Ghost stood up straight and turned around, beginning to walk away. "I'll let you know when i figure it out."


Rienzel stepped out of the veil, and felt metal beneath his feet. He was in an area completely unfamiliar to him. Turning around, he looked through the window and nearly gasped in surprise. There were...so many lights. what were they? Why was the sky so filled with these? His attention was drawn back to his current surroundings by a voice. It sounded female, speaking to someone named Caleb. Well, at least he could understand them...He didn't know if they would be hostile or not. Light had a habit of rejecting the darkness. Yet, if he were to accomplish his goal, he would need to interact with the inhabitants of this realm at some point. She'd also mentioned something about a hero. He didn't know what she was talking about, but for now, it seemed like talking to these people was his best option. Cautiously, he walked into the room the voice had originated from. The woman he'd heard speak had bright golden hair, and radiated with light. The others included a tall man with blue hair, who looked like he carried the weight of the world on his shoulders. Next to him was a little girl, presumably his daughter. She honestly reminded him a bit of Josephine. And finally, a frightening creature who he wasn't entirely sure was even human. He didn't speak yet. He simply made his presence known. ​

 

Just as Caleb was about to leave, was about to begin exploring, Charlotte found her way into the ship. "I haven't found anything. We were about to start looking for them just now, actually" he said as he glanced down at Audrey to make sure she hadn't run ahead. Thankfully, she hadn't. However, just as he was about to begin moving on in his search, he became aware of another individual aside from the creepy guy that had seemingly appeared from nowhere. Turning to look in Rienzel's direction, the character not the rper, he opened his mouth to speak. "You there, I'd like your name and reason why you are here. Are you a local, or from another world?" the guardian asked, one hand summoning a blade as he asked and the other held protectively in front of Audrey.


Hunter refrained from yelling out again as Gwen shrunk his special friend. He normally would have, but his attention was surprisingly on something else. Gwen had said no to banging, this was true, but she hadn't said because she wasn't interested like he was sure he could remember her saying before, or because she didn't want to. No, it was because they hadn't found the hero yet. Well, if he didn't have motivation to free the hero before he sure as hell did now.

Utilizing his power over Geokinetic Cloning, Hunter raised an army of earthen Hunter clones, all holding their hands up into the air and all different heights. He began ascending the Staircase of Awesome as he climbed up to the cliff that Akira had so obviously been standing on for dramatic effect. Incredibly dramatic music fit for a king began playing as he took his first steps, accompanied by a fanfare that made the area exceptionally loud. A cape appeared on Hunter's shoulders, flowing behind him in the wind as he got to the top, before he stepped off of the human staircase and immediately both the cape and his clones vanished. To finish his grand entrance, Hunter turned and pointed directly at Gwen. "What she said!" he boomed, adding almost nothing to the current conversation other than amazing music.


Dane had to stop himself from chuckling when Alisia began swinging the keyblade around. The weapon seemed to suit her, though it was just a tad too big for her, but the idea of her fighting hordes of heartless and other beasts was one that brought amusement to Dane. "This place is the keyblade graveyard. Countless battles have been fought on it, many not worth mentioning, and some that became legends in themselves. A man named Xehanort once fought a few good guys as he tried to forge the legendary x-blade, and one of them ended up trapped in the realm of darkness, one lost their heart, and the other lost their body. There's the one that lost the body" he said, pointing his scythe in the direction of a crumpled suit of armour. "And what you're holding is his keyblade" Dane explained, unable to resist a light laugh as he said so.

"They stopped him though. There were more battles fought between humans and heartless here, but if I told you all of them then you would die by old age before i'm finished. There was one very important one though. Two sides went against each other, a group of people with light in their hearts fighting against people predominantly of the dark, and both groups got stabbed in the back by some lunatic. The psycho tried to kill them, they fought back, and they kinda wrecked the guy. And aaaaaall that happened here. What my point is, Alisia, is that this place here is a battleground of legends. In fact, it's so damn iconic I don't know why nobody has thought to search here for the hero before. And every time a bad guy shows his face here, good guys turn up and the bad guy has to back off" he said. "Now, I'm a bad guy, and the hero's a good guy. What better way to find him? I'm not as stupid as I look, you know" Dane finished.​

 

Xero looked away from Sapphire as she trailed off. She remembered her mentioning something about nightmares before and it was beginning to worry her.

"Sapphire," Xero started, "what exactly happens in these dreams of yours? I remember you saying something about them before but, now they seem to be getting worse apparently."​

Lexcifur continued looking around, staying close to the castle. He seemed to not be finding any clues as to his mother's whereabouts so he decided to begin looking elsewhere. Lexcifur suddenly froze as he heard someone call out to him. He turned to see that it was someone from the World That Never Was and that they assumed Lexcifur was turning himself in.

Yeah.

Right.

With a swift throw of a dark firaga to create somewhat of a distraction, Lexcifur bolted out of the area and pushed into a crowd of people. Like hell he was going to just simply let one of Sapphire's guards take him to her. He wasn't here to make any sort of apology or admit his doings. He was here for one thing, and one thing only.

To stop his mother from following him. How was he going to do this? He wasn't sure yet. But if it ment getting into another fight with her, then this time he wouldn't hold back. He would at least injure her enough for her to be unable to get around for a while. ​

 

"I don't see why you couldn't take one. If they're left around here, I doubt anyone is going to be alive to yell at you for it. And if a day comes that you ever forgive me for killing your homeworld, then I very, very much doubt I'll be alive to see that day" Dane stated. Walking over and picking up the dagger, he put it back, but froze as he looked ahead. One of the keyblades there, one of the weapons that was stabbed in the ground just a few feet away, he recognised it. Taking a few steps forward he took a closer look at the keyblade. There was no doubt about it, this keyblade belonged to the one he thought it did. A particular keychain gave it away. It was a small, tiny scythe, a replica of the one Dane had used. "But...how? You died..I saw you die, I held you in my arms as you died. How could you possibly be alive..?" Dane asked to nobody in particular. He simply stood there, staring at the keyblade in disbelief and shock. After a moment, he gathered his thoughts once more and stood up straight "Lets keep looking for the hero" he said, his voice little more than a whisper as he spoke to Alisia and began walking in a northerly direction.​
