Not all stars, some don't have the proper amount of mass to make a supernova, and simply become white dwarfs.

    Wow...imagine living on Mars though...O.o

The universe would probobly seem a lot smaller if we kenw that our entire civilzation could migrate between 2 planets...

    Well, think of the fact's.

In order to go from one galaxy to the next, we would have to use a form of power that could get us there FASTER than gasoline. Such as atomic energy, or negative energy. The amount of time would seem smaller with this, but seeing as how powerful these energy sources are, you'd sure as hell be aware of how much effort it took.

Not to mention we'd probably be traveling for at least 500 years if in fact we were to go from our planet to another, going at the speed of light.

Yes...but I think chryogenics would solve the time problem...

If we could preserve ourselves for 500 years and somehow wake JUST as we got to another planet, then time would barely even seem exist anymore...XD

    But that would not suffice.

Our melecular(sp?) structure would not be able to keep it's shape in 0 gravity. If we were chryogenically frozen our Muscles would fade away. We'd have to physically breed a new species of human, like a generation of human that can live longer(Which means changing our DNA). Which isn't entirely impossible. We've already done so with mice, so it could be possible with humans.

That being, we'd also have to work out a way to make sure our human shape and interior makeout doesn't change. Like keeping ourselves on a daily workout in space. :/

i say yes we can but not on a planet in this solar system just look how stuff started growing on earth it was due to some kind of white dwarf imploding the chances wern't great of it being sucsessful but surely in the existince of everything in all galaxies the same the probably happened so before our planet reaches the end of its time hopefully we will have discovered a way to come into contact with other life forms or alternatively they find a way

I think one day we'll live in glass domes built on Mars. As for aliens, I believe they exist, but we'll never come into contact with them during my lifetime.

i on the other hand think that we will come in contact with aliens in our life time.....

i think that they are going to take over our world by using poo shooters.....

then they will rape us to start the very long and painful process of becoming an alien of mars....

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    they are coming

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Camel. <_< Keep the spam down. This is your warning before I warn you. o.O

We could live in domes, just not glass. xP It'd melt under the hot conditions of Mars.

Yeah. No aliens for us most likely. And recent studies (go nerdiness) have shown that our favorite 'martian' is more like our favorite 'micro-martian'. It was shown to just be microorganism's on some rocks from the planet. :/

There IS life on other planets...plant life...underground on mars.

Also..We are just to lazy to look on farther away places...maybe people on Mercury..just really immune to heat.

There isn't, Shadow. We do know there isn't life on Mercury, because we do have very powerful telescopes made just for that.

And are you sure there is plant life on Mars? I've been reading about this stuff for about a week now, and I haven't read a word about it. >_>

Maybe there IS life on mars but....
it's invisible! They blend in with the planet, and turn the same colour. Yeaaaaah!

I'd say the chances of life on other planets could be possible...we would need to find more about the planets first.
