"nothing ever is when they do stuff like that...."

 

"Yeah..." Elle laughed her eyes comicly widening as a joke. "Anyway... I'm just gotta ask you something I already asked Ly, but I dunno if you've seen more of him or something... You heard anything about Alex recently?"

 

"hmm not since he left,and he normal gets in touch with me,last time he said he was in romaina or something like that,but i dont see more of him then ly does.she works just under him in the ministry,i only work sometimes in there with my dad,and dad doesnt work near him,the muggle department is awhile away from the arour..."

 

"Oh right... How long has he been gone now?"

 

"3 or 4 months....hell be back soon..."

 

"I hope so..."

 

"he'll be fine..."he said

 

"Yeah..." She mumbled nervously biting her finger.

 

"dont worry..."he said

 

"Yeah... You're right... He prob'ley wouldn't be worried is it were me..."

 

"you never know..."

 

"I'm pretty certain of it..."

 

"how come?"

 

"He just... I dunno... I just don't feel like I really matter to him... So I don't know why he matters to me so much..."

 

"i sure you do matter to him..."

 

"Oh yeah... I matter so much I haven't had so much as a passing greeting in 6 years... even after..."

 

"Have you seen him since then?"

 

"No, not once... But, not even just a "tell Elle I said hi" would of done..." she mumbled

 

"he might have wanted to get in touch...but not know what to say...if you get what i mean..."
