Kingdom Hearts III Let's Have a Party

Specifically, does anybody else hope they do more with party members in KH3?
Dream Eaters may have been pretty bad AI, but they've made marked improvement since the days of KH1 and 2.
I'd like to see new weapons you can equip for party members beyond Donald and Goofy, and maybe even a side quest that lets you get their best weapon, or something. Basically stuff that makes them still viable in late game.
What do you want to see from party members in KH3?

 

First and foremost I would like to be able to change who I control in battle. It would be cool getting to use Donald, Goofy and whoever else.

I would also want Sora's party to receive some more unique abilities - for example, Sora got drive forms/summons/etc, right? Give the party members more special abilities that make them worthwhile.

I like your idea of sidequests for the other characters. These could be used to obtain a multitude of items or abilities pertaining to said character or even to flesh them out some more.

 

Thiiiis. I also think that if Sora transforms I think Donald and Goofy should also. Let them have cool uniforms! Maybe just a few cool skills that do roughly what Sora's form does. Mmmm. -w-

 

I would quite like to see a wider range of people you can have in your party. Like in each world you can have the character from that world (e.g. Simba, Mulan, Tarzan etc.) but it would be nice to be able to have ones that you can have in any world e.g. Riku or Kairi etc. I think the Sora, Donald, Goofy group is cool but it would be nice to have a bit more variety, not loads but just a bit, cutscenes would have them all in.

As well as that, it would be nice for them to get awesome powers and do small things that don't require MP or something- like in TWTNW in KH2, you can make Riku do the Dark aura or dark shield in front of you for protection- that sort of thing would be nice. And you can unlock more things as you go.

One thing that may also be quite nice, I don't know if it could happen, but have it multiplayer if you wanted, so either split screen or over the internet where one person plays as Riku and the other as Sora or something. You play the game normally but they just play as another party member.

 

I like the idea of multiplayer parties. It'd also be nice to control your other party members, and maybe give them some drive forms.
