This is coming from someone who has read the books, saw the 1998 movie, and watched the musicals. So I really know what to expect from the story, but I'm actually really interested with this new take. I also like the cast a lot. Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe are great, and I already know that they can sing. Never knew Anne was going to be in it, but I think she'll be good.

I cannot wait. I always thought that if there was going to be a movie adaptation of the musical, Hugh Jackman should be the man to play Jean Valjean. For what it's worth, I am really glad that the film industry is choosing to film more musicals because it is one of the best ways to get the theatre out there and hopefully encourage members of the audience to go see these productions live.
This has Oscars written allllll over it! I have never seen the musical but always wanted too! Now I can :3 It is going to be wonderful!
